So, here we are with a new multitopic article. If you haven’t read the first one, which explains what a multitopic article is, it’s essentially a condensed version covering multiple topics in one article. There were different names for this kind of article before, such as tidbits, which I didn’t feel was the right name, so I changed it to snippets. I still didn’t feel right with that name. I have had a few followers who suggested a better name for it. Hence, I had to think again for a name that would be easily recognizable for the readers to know what kind of article is going to be, so I thought of multiple topics then combined them to a multitopic, which is a pretty much self-explained title, I believe, so I am satisfied with that name for the articles that have more than one topic. It seems that it is acceptable to my followers, so that is important.
Anyway, as always, here is a list of the topics that for this multitopic article, and if you are too busy to read the entire article you can always select which topic to read instead of having to go through the whole article trying to find the topic that you might be interested in reading or if you want to read the entire multitopic article but only have a few minutes to do so then you can come back to this article to continue reading by selecting which topic that you stopped at so you can go back to read where you were left off at. To view the topics list for this multitopic article, click or press “Show Topics List” below to expand the list.
Before anything else, me!
Before I start writing about other topics, I’ll start with myself and what I’ve been up to lately. I am doing okay, just like everybody else; I have some ups and downs. Most of my bad days are due to the pains that I have dealt with since birth, and getting older doesn’t help any. If you’re young, wait until you get older, especially as you enter middle age, or what some people call midlife, or as you near it. You’ll realize that your bones and muscles aren’t as strong as they used to be when you were young. So, if you’re young, be sure to enjoy every minute of it! Sometimes I see people of their age who can still jump, run, and lift heavy weights, which puzzles me. Even though some are older than me, I can never see myself doing that like them. If someone who’s 70 years old can jump while I am in my middle age and can barely lift a foot of mine, then I am dreading being 70 years old! I would like to know their secrets! However, aside from that, I am doing okay, and I look forward to the cooler temperatures of fall and winter. I am a fall and winter person; I enjoy getting cool quickly. I’m also a fan of snow, as long as our electricity, propane/gas, and water supply are secure and unaffected. Additionally, on any days that we have essential appointments, such as a doctor’s appointment or an emergency, there would be no snow that day, and the roads would be clear/normal. Regarding my latest diet update, I wrote in an article a few months ago that I had achieved my weight goal. Although I have started to relax my eating habits, I’ve continued to ensure that I maintain my weight. About a week ago, I weighed myself, and I had gained almost 4 pounds since reaching my weight goal. Still, it’s not too bad since I have only gained about 4 pounds over a few months, which is a lot better than gaining that much within weeks or a month, and that’s just maintaining my weight. However, I do need to remind myself not to forget about maintaining my weight because this was my 2nd time that I went on a serious diet. The first diet on which I reached my goal, I failed to maintain, and I almost regained all the pounds I had lost. It was only 20 pounds away from my original weight, but I’ve already lost the weight I wanted to reach. This is my second time losing a significant amount of weight, so I need to remind myself to maintain it and not let it slip away, as I did the first time.
My health remains good, as confirmed by my most recent checkup with my physician. I have a checkup appointment every 6 months with my physician, who I have been seeing for more than a decade now. He’s a good doctor around here, which is rare since my rural area often struggles with a shortage of doctors. Individuals from rural areas who aspire to become doctors usually choose to practice in urban, suburban, or city areas instead of returning to their hometowns or rural communities after completing their education. My physician is the one who came back to this rural area, which is rare because, as I mentioned, doctors often prefer to practice in urban, suburban, or large cities. I had been seeing a specialist doctor for several years, but he decided to leave this rural area for a large city with a large population. However, he did come back to this rural area, but only for a little bit, and then went right back there, which sucked, but thankfully, there was another doctor who was happy to take over his patients, including me.
Anyway, with all that said, I am doing okay, I am still healthy, and kicking. Now, how about you all?! I hope you are all doing well. Please leave a comment below and let me know that you’re all doing well! My readers, viewers, supporters, and followers must be doing well! If you leave a comment below, also let me know what you’ve all been doing lately?! If you’d like to learn more about me, feel free to ask me questions in the comments section! As for me, I really haven’t done much of anything, to be honest with you. Even when I haven’t written an article or a review on here for a while, I still do the work, such as adding some features here and there for JoshiesWorld, keeping it maintained to make sure that it still runs smoothly, contacting some businesses to see if they would be interested in sending their products to be reviewed by JoshiesWorld, and whatnot. Additionally, over the past few days, I have been working on several drafts for articles and reviews that I will be writing soon. Currently, I am gathering information, conducting research, establishing contacts, and more. Speaking of gathering information for potential future articles and reviews, I have been very active on social media. Be sure to follow JoshiesWorld on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Threads. Click here to follow JoshiesWorld’s social media platforms if you haven’t already!
JoshiesWorld’s future wishes
Lately, I have been thinking about doing something with JoshiesWorld in the future, specifically having a studio. Some of you may have already noticed that bloggers, content creators, reviewers, influencers, and YouTubers often have their own studios. I want to do the same with JoshiesWorld. Examples include JerryRigEverything, Unbox Therapy, MKBHD, iJustine, IShowSpeed, and MrBeast, among others. They have their own studio where they create content, sourcing products from various businesses for reviews, and collaborating with numerous people, businesses, and more! Not only that, but they also receive numerous invitations from travel agencies to go on trips or visit various places, with expenses covered. They have the opportunity to attend multiple events where they can see the latest products launched by companies like Apple, including the new iPhone, iPad, and Watch, as well as get a sneak peek at unreleased products from other companies before they hit the market. So, I would love to have a studio that would be the center for JoshiesWorld. However, I doubt that will ever happen, because to make it happen, to have a studio, to start getting all kinds of products, invitations, and the like, I would need a substantial amount of money and recognition. Before JoshiesWorld can secure significant funding, it requires recognition, which means gaining a large number of followers. With this recognition, JoshiesWorld can start generating income through various opportunities, businesses, monetization programs on social media platforms, sponsorships, donations, and other means. JoshiesWorld has been around for 18 years now. Its website attracts a decent number of readers/viewers/visitors, which I greatly appreciate. However, JoshiesWorld only has a small following on social media platforms. So, if you are reading this and haven’t followed JoshiesWorld on social media, please do, which I would greatly appreciate! For JoshiesWorld’s social media information, please click here to see JoshiesWorld’s social media list. That social media list includes a variety of platforms where JoshiesWorld has an account; however, the most important ones to follow are Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
If you have already followed JoshiesWorld on social media, thank you so much for your support, which means a great deal to me! However, one of my biggest dreams for JoshiesWorld is to have a studio that can become a central hub for all things related to JoshiesWorld. What exactly is JoshiesWorld? It is a news and media company that publishes all kinds of articles and reviews by me as a blogger/journalist, not only me, but sometimes I have contributors/guest authors, but it is also an identity brand, like these names I mentioned above about some content creators such as iJustine, MrBeast, IShowSpeed, MKBHD, etc. Like iJustine, which is her name, and JoshiesWorld, with a nickname of mine, Joshie. That’s what I’d like to do with JoshiesWorld in the future. Although JoshiesWorld has been around for over 18 years, it still has some way to go, especially in terms of gaining recognition. Who knows, if I am ever able to reach that level as these people did, I will have an open invitation for some people to visit JoshiesWorld’s studio, and also for local content creators to collaborate with JoshiesWorld so that JoshiesWorld can support them in growing as well! Plus, the more recognition JoshiesWorld receives, the more opportunities it will have, including funding that will take JoshiesWorld to the next level, such as a studio. Of course, if that does happen, and I have all the funding that these content creators do, I will be sure to give local content creators, as well as Deaf and disabled content creators, the opportunities they deserve.
Okay, now back to me, I got very ill
Ironically, after I wrote about what has been going on with me and how I have been doing, I became very sick. A couple of nights ago, when you read this, it’ll be more likely a few days or so ago. I got so ill on September 21, 2025, that night. On that day, I ate one of my favorite meals: sunny-side-up eggs and a couple of canned biscuits, which were all delicious to me. For some reason, they caused me to start feeling nauseous, as the few hours went on, and it was getting closer to my bedtime, I started feeling intense heartburn that I have ever felt in maybe my life that I recall. I decided to take a couple of Alka-Seltzer, which are heartburn medicines. I prefer them over Tums and the like; then, from there, I got so sick. I started puking, it felt like I was puking acid, then that became the real pukes, and after I puked a couple of times, I figured that I should be ok, so I went straight to bed as I was already late for bedtime that night. When I got to the bed and lay down in it, that’s when it got serious. I started puking non-stop, so much that I didn’t think I’d have a break to breathe. I was puking for several seconds, then a minute trying to breathe, and then puked again. It got to the point that I started puking every 20-30 minutes. Because of that, I kept my poor mother up all night, where I couldn’t stop puking so many times to the point that I saw the small trash can start filling up, and my mother repeatedly asked me to go to the emergency room. Still, I kept declining her because the hospital is the last place that I ever want to be. Then, finally, I was able to sleep for about two hours without being forced to wake up because I was about to puke. Then I decided to get up because I didn’t want my mother to have to walk back and forth. So, I figured I’d get out of bed so that I could puke in the trash can without having to call for her to bring me the trash can. When I decided to get up, which was around 5 am, I did so with the hope that my mom could finally get some sleep without me bothering her. After getting up, I tried to go back to sleep while sitting in the chair instead of lying in bed, and thankfully, I succeeded in falling asleep for several hours. Since then, I’ve stopped vomiting.
Now, I am doing ok, I haven’t vomited since that night, but I feel very sore, especially on my chest where my heart is, and a bit hoarse in my voice. If I inhale deeply, it’ll hurt a bit, but with normal breathing, it doesn’t cause any discomfort. It is just a sore in my chest, and a bit is going up to where my throat is. Sore from all that vomiting I had, and that was rough, but thankfully I am good now, but sore as I said.
Deaf+ or Deaf Plus: What does it mean?
If you have ever taken a closer look at some of my social media platforms, such as the About section or biography, you will see that I have listed ‘Deaf+ or Deaf Plus’Deaf+’ or ‘Deaf Plus’. If you already know about me, then you know that I am Deaf, and that being Deaf isn’t the only disability that I have, so I am Deaf and I also have other disability, such as being a wheelchair user. So, is there such a term that can describe that I am Deaf and that I have another disability? That is where the Deaf+ or Deaf Plus comes in; it means that you are a Deaf person who has another disability. There is another word for that, which is DeafDisabled, so we have three terms that describe a person who is Deaf and has another disability. Deaf+, Deaf Plus, and DeafDisabled. Really, Deaf+ and Deaf Plus are the same thing, but Deaf+ is a shortened term for Deaf Plus. However, if a person is Deaf and also blind, they refer to themselves as DeafBlind. So, except for blindness, for any other disability, they are Deaf, which is referred to as Deaf+, Deaf Plus, or DeafDisabled. Now, you know what they mean when they say they are Deaf+, Deaf Plus, DeafDisabled, and DeafBlind! As for me, I don’t stick to just one term, so I don’t mind being called Deaf+/Deaf Plus or DeafDisabled, but I do use Deaf+/Deaf Plus more often than DeafDisabled.

Republicans, Conservatives, and the MAGA cult: gender affirming care
Before some of you roll your eyes, or ignite the rage in you on a topic that is giving you a trigger. I am not going to name anyone, but I have a few of you on my friends list, which also includes family members, friends, and a few acquaintances. Some of you frequently post pictures, showing off faces that have undergone Botox, lip injections, or other procedures to make your lips appear larger. Do you realize that is what gender-affirming care is? Because that’s what you did! You are staunchly against the gender affirming care, but you are participating in that. You are against giving the LGBTQIA+ community access to gender affirming care, yet you aren’t against it when it comes to you. It’s ok for you to have access to the gender affirming care, but it’s not ok for LGBTQIA+ people to have access to the gender affirming care? Do you see that it’s a problem with that? Here are a few examples of gender affirming treatments:
Speech therapy to help match vocal characteristics (such as pitch and phrasing patterns) with gender identity. Hair removal through electrolysis, laser treatment, or waxing. Breast binding or padding, genital tucking, and padding of the hips or buttocks. Injectables, such as Botox and fillers, can be used to reshape the face and enhance specific features.
Wait, wait, that’s for LGTBTQIA+! No, no. It’s for everyone, including straight people. What’s different is that you Republicans, conservatives, and MAGA cult members stigmatized the gender affirming care for LGBTQIA+ people. Here’s the answer to “Do straight people use gender-affirming care?”:
So, stop it! Don’t go around stigmatizing what gender affirming care is just because it is associated with LGBTQIA+ people, when some of you also do it yourselves! And it’s perfectly fine! If you want to look prettier, it’s normal! Go and be cute, men and ladies! Do what it takes to love yourselves, just as these LGBTQIA+ people do for themselves. End of discussion!

Normalizing the gun violence in America
It’s unfortunate that we people now normalize gun violence here in America. Before 1999, such occurrences were rare and frightening. Then, the Columbine High School shooting in 1999, it became more frequent to the point that it feels common. Democrats have been trying very hard to remedify that by passing the common sense gun laws, which include extending the background checks, and ensuring that it would take a couple of days to make sure that there is no red flag or anything on their background record check before they can get their hands on the weapons they want to own. Right now, you can walk into a gun shop to purchase some guns along with ammo, accessories, etc., and leave the shop with them. Of course, every state, county, city, and locals have their own restrictions, but most of the time you can leave the gun shop with the weapon on the same day that you bought it. I know you can in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, West Virginia, and Tennessee, but I’m not sure about the other states, so you’ll have to check them. They can be easily obtained thanks to Republicans preventing the laws that would keep us civilians safe; their idea of the arms to bear is with absolutely no laws or restrictions on them. They throw a tantrum whenever anyone tries to put some restrictions on them because Democrats are tired of seeing too many people getting killed from gun violence. When there was a law, or a restriction on the guns, they worked, take a look of an example back in 1994 when the former President Bill Clinton signed a bill called The Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act into the law which was a ban on the assault rifles with 10-years sunset provision meaning that the congress and the U.S. President would have to sign it to extend it every 10 years. Still, that law had expired thanks to the former Republican President George Bush (son) deciding to let it sunset in 2004 instead of signing it to continue for another 10 years. When President George Bush, along with a Republican-controlled Congress, let the law expire, the gun violence prevention organization Brady stated that when the law expired, the mass shootings with six or more deaths increased by 347%! That shouldn’t have happened, but it did, thanks to the law’s expiration, which had a 10-year sunset provision. This was due to a Republican-controlled Congress and a Republican former President, George Bush.
- Major Mass Shootings Continue to Increase Since Congress Allowed the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban to Expire: https://www.bradyunited.org/press/federal-assault-weapons-ban
You know, that law, the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act, had a good number of Republicans supporting it. Not only that, before you go and say that Democrats tried to take away our guns, there were 46 Republican Representatives, and 10 Republican senators were in favor of it, with 64 Democratic congress members were against it, so imagine that. The law, the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act, had bipartisan support, which included former Republican President Gerald Ford, former Republican President Ronald Reagan, as well as former Democratic President Jimmy Carter, who encouraged the Republican Congress to pass it, along with Democratic President Bill Clinton at the time. One of the Republican congressmen, named Henry Hyde, who was a far-right conservative, in the same group that is known as MAGA before MAGA was a thing, supported the law stating, “have no sporting use… Their only purpose is killing people”.

- U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs, National Institute of Justice: https://www.ojp.gov/pdffiles1/173405.pdf
With that said, they shouldn’t have let the law expire; otherwise, we wouldn’t be seeing 347% increases in the mass shootings. It is getting to the point where any time there is gun violence, we just think of it as just another shooting; it’s common now. It’s because we aren’t doing anything to stop it, or at least reduce that by having the federal laws to restrict them, especially the assault rifles, because, like a pre-MAGA Republican, Henry Hyde said, they have no sporting use; their only purpose is killing people. When there is a mass shooting or gun violence, we only use our words, such as our thoughts and prayers are with them. We condemned the shooters for the mass shootings and gun violence with words. Why? We need to do something about it, which starts with an assault weapons ban, limiting ammos, illegalizing 3D printed weapons, which are known as ghost guns, and banning the bump stocks again, because the federal ban on the bump stocks was reversed last year in the 2024 Garland v. Cargill case. This is from the August 2025 statistics; there have been at least 309 mass shootings resulting in 302 deaths and 1,354 wounded. 90 school shootings caused 29 deaths and 69 injuries. You can view the stats, list of the mass shootings, and whatnot on Wikipedia here: https://w.wiki/FSuu
This should not be a political thing; it’s about protecting us civilians. Both Republicans and Democrats need to put their ideology aside, get together, and do something about that. We need some kind of restrictions, regulations, and laws that would reduce gun violence so that we can live another day without worrying about whether strangers in our surroundings might have a weapon and a sick mind. This is not about taking our rights to bear arms away; it’s about ensuring that a firearm doesn’t end up in the wrong hands, while also allowing responsible individuals to own a firearm for defense or hunting, thereby providing for their survival. Regardless of what our political affiliations are, I believe that we all at least agree that there is something that needs to be done about making sure that the weapons don’t end up in the wrong people’s hands, especially if they have some records such as domestic abuse, PTSD, mental illness, and whatnot. Let’s choose the lives of our family members, children, friends, even strangers, over guns. Their lives are more important than our right to bear arms, which many people misunderstood in the Second Amendment, a part of the U.S. Bill of Rights in the U.S. Constitution.
A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. - https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-2/
I copied the exact words from the Second Amendment in the U.S. Bill of Rights, as shown above. Please take the time to read it and consider its meaning. Some of you are laser-focused on the line of “the right to bear arms!” instead of reading the full of it. A well-regulated militia is what? A militia is an armed force of non-professional, civilian volunteers who can be called up for military service in emergencies or for local defense. Back then, when our country’s founders wrote that, it was intended to allow civilians to arm themselves in the event of an invasion, such as from Great Britain or the British crown, after declaring independence from them. As I type this, I look around. I think it’s pretty safe to say that we are not under any invasion, so no need for that. What is the point of the assault rifles? Assault rifles are too much; some people say that they are for defense and hunting. Why is there a need for assault rifles with many rounds in the magazines just so we can defend ourselves, and to hunt for some food? That is overkill; it doesn’t take that many rounds to take down a deer, bear, turkey, and others. Bolt-action rifles with 4 to 8 rounds are enough to take down some meat for eating. That applies to some shotguns and handguns for our protection. The only ones that should or can have the assault rifles are the ones that is in the military, since that is what they are meant for and not meant for civilians to own. If former President Bill Clinton’s assault rifle ban law were still in effect instead of letting it sunset, there would be a lot fewer victims from the mass shootings, and even fewer mass shootings because it’d be a lot of hassle for them having to reload. If these people couldn’t get or own any assault rifle, but still bear arms with the likes of a defense handgun or bolt action rifle, that would give everybody the time to escape, and put the pressure on the shooters by having to reload their guns, which would allow the victims more time to escape. Back then, when America’s founding fathers added the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, their arms included muskets, muzzle-loading rifles, swords, bayonets, and other similar weapons. When they wrote the Second Amendment, that was what they had in their mind. I am sure they did not foresee that we’d have weapons like the assault rifles, semi-automatic, or fully automatic. If they had, I doubt that the Second Amendment would have been added to the United States Constitution.
I am all for the Second Amendment, but I don’t think that should qualify us to own assault rifles, which should belong to the military for use only, or if zombies are real. Even law enforcement, such as police officers or sheriffs, shouldn’t have them either. I do agree that every one of us has the right to bear arms, only the firearms that are for the purpose of defending ourselves, and to hunt for food, but not overkill weapons like assault or carbine rifles: handguns, revolvers, shotguns, bolt-action rifles, and other types.
Anyway, back to the subject. It is heartbreaking and sad to witness that many people are getting to the point where, any time there is a mass shooting, the words that come to our minds are that it’s just another mass shooting. They are becoming what seems to be normal and common to us Americans now because they are happening more often. That needs to be stopped; to change that, we need to come together and have a dialogue on what we can do to reduce gun violence. There has to be a common ground for us, making sure that we reduce gun violence, but at the same time, that our right to bear arms isn’t taken away from us. One thing that we have to agree on for the sake of our people is that lives are more important than having guns. Most of the firearms used in the mass shootings are combat and assault rifles. We need to compromise on something that can save a lot of lives, which starts with a dialogue, and that starts with banning assault and combat firearms. However, at the same time, we can still own civilian firearms, such as handguns, revolvers, shotguns, and bolt-action rifles. We need gun reform laws. When you hear words such as the need to pass gun reform laws or common sense gun laws, you quickly think that it means taking away your firearms, when they have nothing to do with taking away our right to bear arms. This means that there would be extended background checks, a red flagging system, and an additional few days of background checks, rather than conducting them on the same day. Again, I repeat, passing gun reform laws, common sense gun laws, does not mean that our Second Amendment is being taken away. It means that making sure that the people who want to own firearms go to the right people after having their extended background checks, and preventing any firearms from being in the hands of the wrong people. In other words, if you want to own a firearm, you will own one once you are cleared from the extended background check. If there is nothing bad in your background record, then you have nothing to worry about. So, think about this: if you see anyone with a firearm, you can safely be assured that person has no criminal record, and know that the firearms are in the right people’s hands.
With that said, we must stop normalizing gun violence. Don’t let the red line be the one that forces something to happen to any of you before you finally decide that enough is enough and take action. Act now; it’s not about you or me, it’s about ensuring that firearms are owned by the right people and valuing people’s lives over any weapon. Every time there is gun violence, whether it be a mass shooting or a gun fight, we shouldn’t continue to say that our thoughts, hearts, and prayers are with them. Because it will continue, worsen, and increase in number, it requires us to act. Actions over words. It’s the people’s lives, and ours, that we are talking about. Let’s not wait until something happens to any of us or our loved ones before we finally take action. Act now to prevent such a situation from happening to any of us or our loved ones in the future.
What’s wrong with you, Kentucky Association of the Deaf?!
A weeks ago I was dumbfounded after seeing a Facebook post made by Kentucky Association of the Deaf’s (KAD) president Jason Smith in the Kentucky Association of the Deaf’s Facebook group to announce that they are hosting the biennial mini conference at Jefferson County Republican Party in Louisville, Ky on October 10-11, 2025 with a special guest speaker Jennica Pounds who is known for “DataRepublican”. I am surprised that KAD’s president, Jason Smith, doesn’t see anything wrong, given that many Deaf people have expressed their dislike of Jennica Pounds over the past few months, and this sentiment is well-founded. That makes me wonder if Jason Smith and others have been living under a rock; otherwise, they would know that inviting Jennica Pounds is one of the biggest mistakes the Kentucky Association of the Deaf has ever made in its history, if they are familiar with Jennica Pounds. I know that the Kentucky Association of the Deaf makes some stupid mistakes. Still, I never thought they’d sink to a new low by inviting Jennica Pounds, known as DataRepublican, who posts a ton of misinformation, miscalculations, and lies, including claiming to have worked with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) when she never did.
Before I continue, I want to ensure you know which post by the Kentucky Association of the Deaf I am referring to. Here are the screenshots of the post.
Why in the world would the Kentucky Association of the Deaf invite Jennica Pounds, known for DataRepublican on social media, and also why in the world did they decide to host their biennial mini conference at the Jefferson County Republican Party in Louisville, Ky?! They well know that Republicans discriminate and oppress the minority community, along with doing everything to put a stop to diversity, which includes the BIPOC community, LGBTQIA+, civil rights, human rights, women, and immigrants, for instance, passing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which comes with drastic cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, and others. Another one is ending DEI(A), which stands for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. If you have done your research on DEI(A), you would know that these policies gave Deaf people a huge advantage when it comes to jobs because of the Schedule A under the DEI policies. The fact that the Kentucky Association of the Deaf is hosting a biennial mini-conference at the Jefferson County Republican Party place and inviting Jennica Pounds as their special guest speaker contradicts the principles that associations of the Deaf stand for. Not only that, but it also paints the Kentucky Association of the Deaf in a negative light, and in an undignified manner if there was ever any. It would not surprise me if the current President of KAD, Jason Smith, were the one to cause the fall of KAD, especially underground, as KAD had already fallen into disrepute (meaning many have lost their respect for KAD), thanks to the previous presidents who drove the organization to ruin and made it no longer trustworthy.
As for Jennica Pounds, who is she? There is no need for me to share information about who she is, as numerous people have already done so, including a very well-known magazine, Rolling Stone. So, I’ll let someone else do the speaking. Below are a few videos discussing Jennica. I will then share links related to her, including an article from Rolling Stone.
I also suggest that you read this article: Who Is the Anonymous Data Expert Telling Elon Which Cuts to Make? by Jacqueline Sweet at Rolling Stone. Yes, to read the article, you need to become a paid subscriber as the article has a paywall. If you cannot afford to subscribe to Rolling Stone $7.99 for digital monthly or $9.99 a month for both digital and print annual, you can read the article through the web archive, which is a way to read the article for free: http://archive.today/56vbx
You can read more about Jennica Pounds on Reddit, posted by a username HelensScarletFever, which pretty much sums it up for you about this whole thing with Jennica Pounds, who is known for her DataRepublican here: Jennica Pounds (aka DataRepublican), Ricky Taylor, and Rolling Stones – oh my!.
I hope that these will help you understand why it was a mistake for you, President of the Kentucky Association of the Deaf, Jason Smith, to invite her as a special guest speaker to the Kentucky Association of the Deaf biennial mini-conference. All of the reasons that I gave above is why Kentucky Association of the Deaf need to recognize the awful mistake that they made, along with the planning of hosting it at Jefferson County Republican Party place because Kentucky Association of the Deaf DOES NOT represent for Republicans nor Democrats and all of the members however left they have is not all Republicans which is why Kentucky Association of the Deaf should have picked a place to host is neutral. Kentucky Association of the Deaf IS NOT a political action committees (PAC) where they votes or encourage to sponsor the candidates from any political parties, Kentucky Association of the Deaf is an organization that represents for the Deaf Kentuckians and that advocate for the Deaf Kentuckians when their civil rights or human rights are at risk especially that Republicans are known for such as finding every ways to oppress the Deaf community.
Wait, who owns Deaf Content Creators?
Yes, I am the owner of Deaf Content Creators, as I acquired the domain a few months ago. At any time that you visit a domain called DeafContentCreators.com, you will be redirected to the Deaf Content Creators list here on JoshiesWorld’s website. Will that be permanent that way? No, for the time being, it is, but in the long run, it won’t be, as I plan to build the website for DeafContentCreators.com. What will the website look like? I prefer that what I am envisioning for Deaf Content Creators be kept secret for the time being. Soon, you will have a better idea of what it will be once I have finished building the website for Deaf Content Creators. The reason why I went in, and acquired Deaf Content Creators is because beside being one of the oldest Deaf content creators as I started back in 2007, I want to help other Deaf content creators to reach their goals of becoming a successful content creator in their future, and as well to be able to provide the resources with them, that include sharing the opportunities from different companies with them so that they can collaborate with these businesses. That is one of many things I will be doing with the Deaf Content Creators. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to share them with me. You can do so by contacting me through this page (email) or JoshiesWorld’s Facebook page if any of you who are business owners, organizations, or services would like to offer the sponsorships for the Deaf Content Creators to help Deaf Content Creators to grow because it will need some funding for the operation such as paying for servers, features, advertising/marketing, tools, resources, to be able to form the small team with salaries possibly. Currently, it is using JoshiesWorld’s funding, which means it is essentially out of my own money, and I don’t mind doing so at all. However, I would always appreciate any help I can get for Deaf Content Creators or for JoshiesWorld to continue growing. If you are an individual who wants to donate a few dollars to help Deaf content creators, you are more than welcome to do so, which I would greatly appreciate. You can go here and donate.
If you’re interested in being involved in the development of Deaf Content Creators, please don’t hesitate to contact me, and we’ll determine where you can contribute. However, please note that your involvement will be as a volunteer, as I mentioned; Deaf Content Creators does not have capital funding. If you wonder how long it will take to have the Deaf Content Creators website built or when it will be launched? I cannot provide the exact date, but it is currently in development. I am splitting my time between JoshiesWorld and the Deaf Content Creators. Will some help with getting some funding speed up the project? Yes, it would help. If you would like to be notified about the current progress of the Deaf Content Creators and when it will be launched, please follow JoshiesWorld’s Facebook page. Once it’s nearing completion and about to be launched, they will be announced on JoshiesWorld’s social media platforms. If you’d like to follow JoshiesWorld on other social media platforms besides Facebook, I would greatly appreciate it. Here’s the link to see the list of JoshiesWorld’s social media accounts.
Best Zoom’s alternative: Microsoft Teams
By now, many people are familiar with Zoom. According to many, it is one of the best communication platforms, providing services such as video conferences, online meetings, webinars, and chat for remote teams and individuals. Zoom skyrocketed thanks to the COVID pandemic, where many people had to stay at home for everyone’s safety, and that includes the students from most, if not all, schools. The same applies to many employees who have to stay at home because businesses are closing to prevent anyone who works there from being exposed to the virus. Now, during the coronavirus pandemic, students still need to learn, and businesses need to continue serving. So, what was the solution? Thanks to Zoom, many people were able to continue working remotely, students continued to attend school remotely, taking classes with their teachers via video conference on Zoom, and many others. For the Deaf community, meetings can be facilitated by bringing in interpreters using Zoom, where they will translate for Deaf individuals by listening to what people are saying during the video conference and conveying the information in American Sign Language (ASL). It is undeniable that Zoom has been a solution for many things by providing video conference services, facilitating collaboration with others, and enabling the attendance of appointments, such as those conducted by many courts through Zoom’s video conferencing, allowing us to see our doctors via telehealth, among other uses. In other words, Zoom was used for meetings, webinars/seminars, education with virtual learning, virtual events, and personal connections.
But it wasn’t cheap, because with the free basic version, there are limitations in what we can do with Zoom, such as how many people we can host, how long we can host them, and some important tools that they have that we need to use, but couldn’t because they were only available for paid plans. So, what was the next best alternative? That was Skype, which Microsoft owned. What was even better was that Skype was free to use for as long as we needed or wanted for our video conferences. While Skype was free to use, with no limit on how long we could use it, and offered the essential tools for video conferencing, there was a small limitation: it only allowed 50 participants for group video conferencing/chat. What was even better for the Deaf people, Microsoft in tribute to international disability day, they integrated a new feature in Skype where we could get a real time caption/subtitle, so if there were anyone who was hearing and communicate using their voices, they would be captioned in real time so we could know what they were saying in the video conference or group video chat! It’s a shame that many people, especially Deaf individuals, were unaware of or didn’t try out Skype because they were already using Zoom. Skype has been around for decades; they were around for several years before Zoom was a thing. Unfortunately, Microsoft discontinued Skype a few months ago. I know some Deaf people love to go on live video using Zoom, and pay for a plan that allows them to host the live video for longer than 40 minutes, such as 30 hours per meeting, but still stick with only a 100 participant limit. They could have that with Skype, without having to pay, so that they could host live video for longer than the 40-minute limit. Even Skype’s limited 50 participants versus Zoom’s 100 participants is still plenty enough.
A while back, I wrote an article about Skype and recommended that Deaf people use Skype instead of Zoom because Skype was free to use for as long as we wanted. However, there is some good news: even though Microsoft has discontinued Skype, it has a replacement, Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams is, in a way, an upgrade from Skype, more polished and modernized. Microsoft Teams does what Skype once did, such as hosting video conferences or group video chats, but also features communities and channels. The communities and channels feature is great for businesses, organizations, and content creators. That feature is a platform that allows you to engage with and interact with your followers, fans, supporters, and others. What’s even cooler is that Microsoft Teams has a sign language mode accessibility feature that asks you if you are a signer or a sign language interpreter. Once you’ve selected, you will get the feature designed for signers or interpreters.
Here are the screenshots that I have taken so you can get an idea of what Microsoft Teams looks like. A screenshot of what sign language mode looks like in accessibility for a signer or a sign language interpreter is provided below.
If you have Microsoft Teams software or app, feel free to join JoshiesWorld’s community/channel on Microsoft Teams: https://teams.live.com/l/community/FAAuDpDfdyMlId5-wU
It was a shame to see that Microsoft decided to discontinue Skype, but I am glad that Microsoft replaced Skype with Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams was around when Skype existed, but it was more tailored for business use. Since Skype was discontinued, Microsoft Teams has been introduced to replace it, while retaining some features for business use. So, they combined Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Skype into one platform, retaining the name Microsoft Teams. Bad thing about it? It doesn’t have Skype’s limitations; instead, it offers up to 50 participants for free, with 24 hours of usage. Although it is now limited to 60 minutes and supports up to 100 participants, it still offers 20 more minutes than Zoom does for free. However, if you already have a Microsoft 365 (personal or family) subscription, it comes with a 24-hour time limit and a limit of up to 300 participants. You can purchase Microsoft 365 Personal for $99.99 (click here) or Microsoft 365 Family (which is what I have) for $129.99 (click here) on Amazon.

Ever used AI?
I have created a post on my (JoshiesWorld’s) Facebook page to ask everyone some questions about the use of AI, which stands for artificial intelligence. I will copy the post from JoshiesWorld’s Facebook page and paste it here, in case some of you missed the original post by JoshiesWorld on Facebook.
Have you ever used some conversational AI (artificial intelligence) chatboxes like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Microsoft’s CoPilot, Google’s Gemini, Perplexity AI, Claude AI, DeepSeek, X’s Grok, and others? If so, what are your thoughts about them? If you have tried more than one, please let me know which one is your favorite by leaving a comment below. Many people, particularly business owners and content creators, are beginning to incorporate some of these AI tools into their work. I tried almost all of them, but only the free versions, which are offered with older models (slower and less advanced than the top-tier ones, which require a paid subscription). However, I have Microsoft CoPilot because it came with my Microsoft 365 subscription.
I haven’t integrated any of them into my work or used them for any purpose in my work; I only use them when I am curious about the results I’d get from them. Nonetheless, if you have tried any conversational AI chatboxes, please leave a comment below with your thoughts on them. If you are a business owner, content creator (including authors and writers), or in another field, I’d like to hear your thoughts on integrating them with your work. For example, wouldn’t that make you appear less authentic and lazy by letting them do the work for you? Or are they useful to you? Looking forward to hearing from some of you in the comments! Please share this article on your social media profiles so that it can reach a wider audience and, in doing so, help me gather more answers, which I would greatly appreciate.
The National Association of the Deaf is in disarray
Before I share my take on this, in case you’re not familiar with the National Association of the Deaf, NAD, it’s worth noting that the National Association of the Deaf is the oldest civil rights nonprofit organization in the United States of America. Conduct a quick search to determine which civil rights nonprofit organization in the United States of America is the oldest. You will find that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is the answer provided by search engines. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) was founded in 1909; however, it was preceded by the establishment of the National Afro-American League on January 25, 1890. The answer to the question of what is the oldest civil rights organization in the United States of America is the NAACP, and it is also the largest organization. However, there is a problem with that answer: neither the National Afro-American League nor the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is the oldest civil rights nonprofit organization in the United States. Certainly, they are the largest civil rights nonprofit organization in the United States of America. Still, not the oldest, as the oldest civil rights nonprofit organization in the country is the National Association of the Deaf (NAD). On the records, the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) was founded on August 25, 1880, in Cincinnati, Ohio, with its first convention on August 25th, 1880, by the Deaf people to advocate for Deaf rights in response to the Second International Congress on Education of the Deaf international conference of Deaf educators that was held in Milan, Italy, in 1880. It is commonly known as the Milan Conference. What is so significant about that Milan Conference, you ask me? They passed the controversial Milan Resolutions, which declared the widespread ban of sign languages in schools. The result of this was that no one was allowed to use their native language, which is sign language, in any way at their international schools. The ban on sign languages in educational settings was not only aimed at schools in the United States of America, but also with the goal of every school in every country.
What had happened in those resolutions was that they declared the oral method to be superior to sign languages for Deaf education. If any students were seen using their native language or sign language, they would be harshly punished by having their hands slapped with various objects, such as rulers, sticks, and belts. That spanned from the year 1880 all the way to the late 1960s, when it finally began to be recognized as the ideal method of Deaf education. In the United States of America, American Sign Language gained widespread acceptance in educational settings in the late 1960s, following extensive linguistic research conducted by linguists such as William Stokoe. Ever since then, American Sign Language has been recognized as a language in the United States of America, although the government does not officially acknowledge it. The United States of America does not have an officially recognized language, although English is widely spoken.
Read more about the Milan Conference of 1880 banning sign languages, linguist William Stokoe recognizing American Sign Language, and the legal recognition of sign language in the United States, along with other countries, as some countries have their sign languages as one of their officially recognized languages.

Returning to the subject, the National Association of the Deaf was founded in response to the 1880 Milan Conference, which banned the use of sign languages internationally. The mission statement for the National Association of the Deaf is “to preserve, protect, and promote the civil, human, and linguistic rights of deaf and hard of hearing people in the United States of America.”. The National Association of the Deaf advocates for the rights of Deaf people, including their civil, human, and linguistic rights, in the United States of America.

Now, I hope that you get at least a small picture of what the National Association of the Deaf is all about. All of the things I have written above about the National Association of the Deaf sound wonderful, but unfortunately, that is not the case now. The National Association of the Deaf is in a state of disarray. As Deaf people, we have long been aware that the National Association of the Deaf has faced some challenges. Still, we were previously unaware of the extent or severity of the issues within the organization. Now, we Deaf people are coming out to hold them accountable more than ever. Still, at the same time, we Deaf people do not want to do any harm or ruin the National Association of the Deaf organization itself in any way. For the past few weeks, we have been calling out the National Association of the Deaf’s president, Lisa Rose, and some board members. They are the problems that are dragging the organization through some mud, and putting their heads in the sand, refusing to recognize or acknowledge that they are the problems within the National Association of the Deaf’s nonprofit organization. The National Association of the Deaf has bylaws in place, and they serve a purpose: to ensure that they don’t abuse their powers, keep their powers in check, and be responsible for the organization’s operation. In the past few weeks a person who was one of National Association of the Deaf’s board members, one of two representatives for NAD’s region II, Chris Haulmark, has been making several vlogs exposing National Association of the Deaf, showing that they are not following the bylaws, and would condemn a board member for wanting to attend some events as one of NAD’s representative even if the bylaws stated that he or any regions members are allowed to do so. For example, anyone from a region does not need to obtain permission to attend any Deaf-related events on behalf of the organization, and they are only required to notify the organization about their activities as a representative of the National Association of the Deaf. Not to ask for permission from the National Association of the Deaf’s president, Lisa Rose, they attend some events representing the NAD. President Lisa Rose demanded that they obtain permission from President Lisa Rose or the organization to participate in events representing the organization, which is not specified in the bylaws.
One of region II’s representatives, Chris Haulkmark, had already resigned back in January, as he said, he decided to resign to hopefully pursue the CEO position of the National Association of the Deaf, and by resigning, to ensure that there wouldn’t be any conflict within the National Association of the Deaf. While that was a noble thing for him to do, I think that was a mistake for him to do so. In my opinion, given the current state of affairs within the National Association of the Deaf, I think he should’ve stayed on as one of the Region II representatives and pursued the CEO position simultaneously. Because if that were the case, we’d still have an ally in the organization, and if he had lost the CEO position, he would then continue to represent Region II. Chris Haulmark has been pointing out numerous flaws and mistakes within the organization, including allowing themselves to be liable for lawsuits due to not following the bylaws. Even worse, the National Association of the Deaf has many seats vacant, and is that their intention? That is the question that we all will have to think about. In many of Chris Haulmark’s videos, it was shown that the National Association of the Deaf’s president, Lisa Rose, and a few others have ultra vires violations. They have stated that there were some meetings, but they weren’t recorded, including details such as the date, duration, whether the quorum was met, who attended, and so on. Not too long ago, they conducted a CEO search to replace the interim President, Dr. Bobbie Beth Scoggins, and selected Kelby Brick as the new CEO of NAD. They fast-tracked, bringing Kelby Brick in as a COO (Chief Operating Officer). Then he became the only candidate for the CEO position in the National Association of the Deaf. It was illegal because there were vacant seats, including those of the treasury secretary. They would have to have a few meetings about the CEO search, but only if a quorum wasmet, which means that they didn’t have enough board members to meet the quorum to proceed with some meetings, the CEO search, and whatnot, especially when it comes to deciding which candidates in that CEO search to become the next CEO for the National Association of the Deaf. The same applies to how Dr. Bobbie Beth Scoggins obtained the interim CEO position to replace the former CEO, Howard Rosenblum.
When Kelby Brick was picked to be the next CEO of the National Association of the Deaf to replace the CEO interim, Dr. Bobbie Beth Scoggins, it caused a lot of confusion, violated some bylaws, and whatnot, so they reversed the whole thing, and Dr. Bobbie Beth Scoggins is back as NAD’s interim CEO again. As I mentioned, the entire CEO search process was illegal. After several vlogs made by Chris Haulmark pointing out so many wrongdoings by the National Association of the Deaf, more specifically, by NAD’s President Lisa Rose, the National Association of the Deaf suddenly announced that they had halted governance in the organization, and assigned one of NAD’s Region I representatives, Jacob Leffler, as governance chair, who announced the halt in governance. They stated that an internal issue is ongoing, involving board members and others. Ever since Chris Haulmark made several vlogs showing everyone what was going on with National Association of the Deaf, how he as one of the region II representatives was treated by National Association of the Deaf’s President Lisa Rose which Chris Haulmark have showed the evidence of a recorded video conversation between them both where you could see that the president Lisa Rose was trying to have the control on Chris Haulmark such as telling him what he can do and what he cannot do which was the opposite of what bylaws said. For example, as I mentioned above, Chris Haulmark wanted to attend some Deaf-related events as one of NAD’s representatives, to represent NAD, and in doing so, he’d be wearing a shirt with the NAD logo. He or any representatives did not need to ask NAD’s president for permission to attend events and represent the organization. Still, the NAD president, Lisa Rose, made it clear that he, along with other representatives, would be required to ask the NAD president for permission to do what they were duty-bound to do. That clearly showed that NAD’s president, Lisa Rose, is power-tripping, trying to use the power that she, or any NAD president, does not have.
Many members, almost all board members (remaining), and non-members want NAD president Lisa Rose to resign in the best interest of the organization. Now, many Deaf people are creating vlogs or writing open letters, calling on the National Association of the Deaf’s president, Lisa Rose, to resign. That is not the only issue they have; these vacant seats need to be filled so that they can meet the quorum, proceed to govern the organization, and finally start the CEO search legally. Right now, National Association of the Deaf is looking bad as an organization, and not only that, ever since the fiasco of former CEO Howard Rosenblum working with Alexis from Love Sign/RosebyAnder which I am not going to rehash the whole fiasco but if you must know what I am referring to then you can read this article I wrote a long time ago about the Super Bowl fiasco with NAD’s former CEO, Alexis, and her companies. Click here to read it. Because of that fiasco, it made us Deaf people not trust the National Association of the Deaf much anymore. For many years, they have been losing our trust. Still, with that Super Bowl fiasco, our trust in the organization was almost nonexistent. Now, with this mess going on with the NAD’s president, Lisa Rose, with power-tripping, I think we’ve pretty much lost trust in the National Association of the Deaf.
Here are the links to Chris Haulmark’s vlog posts if you are interested in watching and getting all the information about what is happening with the National Association of the Deaf. Please be aware that all of his vlogs are in American Sign Language, as they are about a Deaf organization.

I hope I am not missing any. If I did, you can find all of Chris Haulmark’s vlogs on NAD by visiting his Facebook profile, as his vlogs on NAD problems are open to the public. Click here for Chris Haulmark’s Facebook profile. Chris Haulmark isn’t the only one vlogging about the issues with NAD, not the only one calling NAD’s president, Lisa Rose, to resign; there are many vlogs from many Deaf people talking about the problems going on with the National Association of the Deaf, and calling for NAD’s president, Lisa Rose, to resign. You can find some of them on Facebook by searching for ‘NAD’ or the ‘National Association of the Deaf’ as the search keyword.
I’m sitting back and eating some popcorn while watching the whole thing unfold. However, I do think that the National Association of the Deaf needs to do better; they need to be more transparent, which they haven’t been for many years. Furthermore, I believe that NAD’s president, Lisa Rose, should resign in the best interest of the National Association of the Deaf. Because if NAD’s president Lisa Rose refuses to resign, then that would show every one of us that she is indeed power-tripping, and doing everything to make sure that the board does not have enough seats to have the quorum met so that they can proceed to have some meetings which that include having president Lisa Rose to be removed, and start getting these seats filled up quick as possible before they proceed to do a CEO search again but the right way to replace Dr. Bobbie Beth Scoggins, which in my opinion isn’t doing a great job as a interim CEO. The National Association of the Deaf is losing many members because it has lost our trust for many years, and this issue came to a boiling point with the former CEO, Howard Rosenblum, and the Super Bowl’s fiasco. I recall that when NAD’s president, Lisa Rose, was elected, a clash arose between the outgoing president, Jenny Buechner, and the incoming president, Lisa Rose.
You can watch a vlog made by former NAD president Jenny Buechner here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1BMkHFght6/
When Jenny talked about someone who would stalk her during her university days, challenge her, interrupt her work as NAD president, and whatnot, she stated that someone would like to overpower her. Someone who likes to use the power that doesn’t exist and abuses the power that does. That someone is NAD’s current president, Lisa Rose. Lisa Rose ran for NAD presidency; it appears that her goal was to defeat Jenny, which she achieved when Jenny lost to Lisa Rose. Jenny said that Lisa Rose wasn’t there when NAD was having the election for president, and whatnot, until up to the end to challenge Jenny for the NAD’s presidency. Jenny was warning the Deaf people about NAD’s current president Lisa Rose, the theme of her video said that Lisa Rose likes to get as much as power she could get, and sure enough that is what going on now at National Association of the Deaf where she is demanding the former region II representative Chris Haulmark that he has to ask for permission to attend any events as NAD representative. I believe it would be in the best interest of the National Association of the Deaf as an organization that NAD’s president, Lisa Rose, should resign. Still, the question for her is whether she wants to show everybody that she cares about the organization or that she is just there because she is in it for the power. The majority of the Deaf community wants Lisa Rose to resign, for the board to quickly fill up the vacant seats, and be more transparent with us Deaf people instead of hiding things from us or not letting us know what is going on with the organization, since it is the organization that represents us Deaf people here in the United States of America. A petition is circulating for Deaf people to sign, asking NAD President Lisa Rose to resign, and I, as JoshiesWorld, have also signed it. If you would like to sign the petition yourself (you don’t need to be Deaf to sign it; anyone can sign), it is available on Change.org. Here’s the link to the petition: https://chng.it/xqwgShG8d6
There is a website where everyone can view the timeline from the beginning, with a focus on NAD’s current president, Lisa Rose. How has it become the mess caused by Lisa Rose? The website is called NAD Awakens, and here is the link for you to click to visit the website so that you can see the timeline from the beginning with Lisa Rose: https://sites.google.com/view/nadawakens/
Giving illegal immigrants healthcare, Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security, SNAP, and other benefits?
I am seeing that some of you Republicans, MAGA cult members, and whatnot have been going around posting or telling everybody that the Democrats want the illegal immigrants to have healthcare, social security, SNAP, Medicare/Medicaid, and whatnot. I am astounded to see that many of you are spreading misinformation when it is entirely incorrect, and some of you are spewing it out of your mouths or typing it out with the tips of your fingers. If you have just done a bit of research, then you would know that it is against the law for any illegal immigrants to be in any of them. Read this more carefully and slowly. Illegal immigrants are NOT eligible for any of these social programs that millions of Americans are on. There is a law passed by Congress and signed by the president in 1996 that makes it illegal for any immigrant to be eligible for any of these social programs. Guess who signed that bill into law? A Democratic president in 1996 was Bill Clinton. The law was passed by the 104th U.S. Congress and signed by President Bill Clinton. The part of that law makes it illegal for any immigrants to qualify for these social programs, meaning that no immigrants would be eligible to receive anything from them. If you don’t believe me, then you don’t have to take my word for it; you can read the bill yourself. The law in question is known as the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act of 1996, also referred to as H.R. 3734.
H.R.3734 – 104th Congress (1995-1996): Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996: https://www.congress.gov/bill/104th-congress/house-bill/3734
That is a direct link from the government website, specifically the U.S. Congress website. Please review the bill, which is now a law. If you’re not in the mood for reading and want a summary, then you can search for one yourself. Go to a search engine, such as Google or Bing, and type the name of the law I typed above. Then, perform a search, and they will provide you with summarized information about that law. The bottom line is that the illegal immigrants CANNOT be eligible for any of these social programs, such as social security, Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, WIC, HUD, and whatnot. So, stop spreading the misinformation now that you are aware of a law that makes it illegal for undocumented immigrants to receive benefits from these social programs. Stop spinning it in any way.
The U.S. Government has shut down!
Yes, I am aware that there is a government shutdown because Congress is allowing it to continue, as they need 7 or 8 Democrats to vote for it to reopen the government. The democrats aren’t going for it because Republicans have taken almost a trillion dollars from the ACA that many of us Americans rely on, and no illegal immigrant has it. No, it is not for them. What is happening is that when Republicans needed Democrats’ votes to pass that big, beautiful bill for Trump, Democrats were willing to help them pass it even though they didn’t want to. Still, they did so in good faith, believing that the Republicans would come to the table to negotiate with Democrats in the fall and reciprocate by being willing to compromise with them, adding some funding for the Affordable Care Act so that our health insurance premiums wouldn’t skyrocket. Now, it is shut down because Republicans didn’t back up their promise or their words that they would include the democrats when it’s time to pass the spending bills, and that is now. All Democrats want is to put the money back in for the Affordable Care Act that they took out from it through Trump’s one big beautiful bill. That is it. When Republicans needed Democrats’ votes to pass that one big, beautiful bill, they did so in good faith, believing that Republicans would be willing to listen to Democrats or negotiate with them on how much money could be allocated in the bill for the Affordable Care Act or healthcare. They want a compromise; they even said they wouldn’t mind bringing down the price, but the problem is that the Republicans are telling them it’s their way or the highway. So, here we are with the government shutdown thanks to Trump and Republicans for not backing up their words that they gave to the Democrats for their votes on their One Big Beautiful Bill in March.
So, all that is on Republicans and President Trump. If you are getting frustrated, then tell your Republican congress and your president, Donald Trump, to stop throwing tantrums and start negotiating with Democrats so that we can get our government open again. Look at the Republicans congress, where are they? They went home, calling it for recess, and the Democrats are still in Washington waiting for them. So, who isn’t doing their duty for the people that voted them is Republicans, since they went home while Democrats are still at the U.S. Capitol waiting for them and still doing what they are duty-bound to do. Again, we are in the government shutdown because Republicans did not follow what they said or promised to Democrats for their votes passing their One Big Beautiful Bill, which took $850 million out of the Affordable Care Act, and spent it on immigration and customs enforcement (ICE). Now, for the government to remain open, it needs two-thirds of the votes, and to meet that, it requires 7 or 8 Democrats to vote in favor of it. They realized that Republicans now refuse to come to the negotiation table with them and find a way to compromise with them, which is simply putting that 850 million dollars back into the Affordable Care Act to stabilize our health care that they took from their One Big Beautiful Bill. I know I am repeating this, but I want to make sure that some of you understand what is really going on and not fall for the misinformation that Republicans are spreading as usual.
Still waiting for a response from Snapchat

I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to everyone from my elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as beyond, who know me and were willing to learn American Sign Language so that we could communicate with each other. I am very grateful to them. The other day, I was thinking about how I’ve grown and what I’ve experienced since birth. I realized that some people who want to be my friends would start learning American Sign Language so that they could communicate with me in that language. These friends of mine didn’t have to learn American Sign Language if they didn’t want to, but they chose to learn so that they could communicate with me. They put a great deal of effort into learning the language for the sake of our friendship, which is more than some of my family members, who wouldn’t even try to find a way to communicate with me. To think that these friends of mine who would make all the effort to learn American Sign Language by communicating with me, and as time goes by, they became fluent in my native language. I didn’t ask any of them to learn my native language; they wanted to learn it on their own, and that means the world to me. These friends of mine made an effort to learn how to communicate with me, unlike some of my family members who have no interest in learning my native language or have excuses for not doing so. It’s mindblown if you ask me, because my friends wanted to learn so they could communicate with me, and some of my family members haven’t learned any. My friends learned American Sign Language rather quickly. They would come over to spend weekends at my house so they could continue learning how to communicate with me and be friends with me. They put their time, their effort, and were willing to learn my native language when some of my immediate family members never did. It should be the other way around. So, for those of you who were willing to learn so that you could communicate with me in American Sign Language, thank you from my heart! You could have decided that it wouldn’t be worth the effort and the time to learn American Sign Language to be my friend, but you did, so I am very thankful for all of you! Now, I have a few friends who are already fluent in American Sign Language, as they learned it when we were younger. Now that we are getting older, they still make time to hang out and chat with me using the language I taught them when they were growing up.
Thank you, you know who you are, thank you! Now, if any of you meet someone who happens to be Deaf, consider being their friend by learning their native language and communicating with them in that language. They will be very thankful for your effort, just as I am for my friends who have done so. Additionally, learning to be fluent in American Sign Language would make you bilingual, which can be useful for your career. You can learn American Sign Language by befriending Deaf people; they would be happy to teach you how to communicate in American Sign Language. It costs you nothing to learn American Sign Language by becoming friends with the Deaf people, and you earn a friendship or a close bond with them.

… The End
I think I have written too much for this article, but oh well. Thankfully, there is a topics list that allows you to pick which topics to read or know which ones you stopped reading, so you can come back and pick up where you left off. I know that this multitopic article was overdue, and I apologize for that. I have been trying to start publishing more articles and reviews, which I haven’t done in a long time. I want to publish more review articles, but I don’t have the funding to afford some of the resources required for conducting a review. I would appreciate the opportunity to work with companies that are interested in having me review their products. If you own a business and have something you’d like JoshiesWorld to review, please click this link to read the Request A Review by JoshiesWorld. Speaking of writing articles, would you like it or prefer that I write an article per topic, meaning one article for a topic, and not an article of a few issues, such as this multitopic article? Please let me know in the comments. I may start writing an article on a single topic each time, rather than a multitopic article, like the one you are reading, which is a multitopic article (shortened for multiple topics). I will now wrap up this project and take a weekend break from all work-related tasks. I often try not to do anything on the weekends to work on some things, as I am not getting any younger. Taking a weekend break helps me refresh my mind, allowing me to be more prepared to work for the rest of the week and be more productive. Even when I am not writing an article or a review article, I am always working behind the scenes, especially on the website, contacting other businesses to explore opportunities, and so on. I am constantly trying to think of ways to form strategies for increasing followers on JoshiesWorld’s social media channels, because for JoshiesWorld to move forward, I need followers to support me. I wish that weren’t the case, but it is because it is that important for other companies that would be willing to offer opportunities to content creators with large followers, and also build JoshiesWorld’s credibility, even though JoshiesWorld has been around for over 18 years now.
Anyway, I hope that some of you enjoy reading some of the topics in this multitopic article, and as always if you have any topics that you’d like for me to investigate, to dig up or to share my opinions on them, please let me know either by leaving a comment or contact me through here or on JoshiesWorld social media channels such as Facebook or Instagram. If you have any hot tips, juicy information, or something you think the public should know through an article, please send the information to me by contacting me here or messaging me on JoshiesWorld’s social media channels. If you prefer to remain anonymous and don’t want to be credited for sharing information with me, that will be respected as always. For now, I must bid all of you a good day, and I hope that every one of you has a great weekend!
Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan.
