About a month ago, it had only 260 followers, but about two weeks ago, it jumped from 260 to 360 (100 followers), and now, to this day, it has reached over 400 followers who support JoshiesWorld! Today, August 7th, 2025, marks the 18th anniversary of JoshiesWorld! JoshiesWorld was founded on August 7th, 2007, which seems like a couple of years ago to me, but it is eighteen (18) years, which is unbelievable, but at the same time, it is humbling for me. It was the birth of my passion to become a blogger/journalist. From there, I expanded into reviewing and content creation, and JoshiesWorld evolved into not only a news and media company but also a personal identity brand for me as a content creator. Since the beginning of 2007, it has grown significantly and continues to grow, but it wouldn’t be possible without the support some of you have given to JoshiesWorld! JoshiesWorld wouldn’t still be around if it weren’t for your support and the continued motivation that you have given me to continue. JoshiesWorld grows because of your support, including sharing the words about JoshiesWorld, sharing the content published by JoshiesWorld, the donations that some of you have given to JoshiesWorld over the years since JoshiesWorld was founded, and helping to promote JoshiesWorld with merchandise such as stickers, pens, business cards, and more. I would like to say that I wish every single of you a very Happy Thanksgiving of the year 2016! Some of the people including myself who celebrate thanksgiving or some of the other holidays earlier or later and as for this year we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving a day earlier which that means today instead of celebrating for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Some people just have their preference for when to celebrate for what, such as Thanksgiving, Birthday or Christmas for certain reasons whether it be a conflicts with some people’s schedules, health or medical reasons and among others. We started celebrating either a day before or the day after for some holidays but we never will celebrate a day earlier or later for Christmas as we always have to celebrate on Christmas day, we have do so for several decades in all of our family generations and I don’t recall of ever celebrating Christmas a day earlier or a day after. Although I did used to celebrate Christmas a day before every year when I was young with my father and his side of the family but as for me and my mother’s side of the family it is always on the 25th of December every year no matter if we are to celebrate early in the morning or late…
Most of us bloggers who have a passion in blogging or journalism always seeks a way to improve ourselves as a blogger, because there is always a way to improve our blogging skills and looking a way to build our creditable because whether it be as bloggers or in any forms of journalism such as reporting or editing newspaper it is very important that we have a creditable to back ourselves otherwise it would be hard to gain some trust from readers. Some of the people don’t think bloggers have a place in journalism, as the journalists that works in newspapers blamed us bloggers for wrecking their journalists career because since the early 2000s the blogosphere boomed and being able to deliver information quicker than newspaper would be so many newspapers lost their readers to us which this means they realized that so they decided to start their own blogs (some of them call it online newspaper but it’s blog even though they will deny that) and laid off old-fashioned newspaper editors or their employees that takes care of printing newspapers using linotype machine which is what used to produce newspapers after editors wrote a draft then passed it down to linotypers. Happy Thanksgiving! This is Joshie, JoshiesWorld founder and blogger speaking out to all of you readers, fans or friends whichever you prefer but in my mind all of you are friends even may of you may be strangers because I don’t know you although you may know me a bit through here. I wanted to make a blog post to tell every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving and that I hope all of you have a great day! I am certain that most of you will because it involves a full table of delicious foods right?! One of few things to be thankful for, to have foods to fed and to be able to share the foods with your family while sharing some memories with each others which is a very precious thing to have. Me? I used to look forward to thanksgiving every year because that means I get to visit my grandparent’s house, eat large amounts of foods and spend the time with the grandparents along with the rest of the family as my grandparents house were the place that everyone in the family to be at on the thanksgiving day.
