Happy 19th Birthday to JoshiesWorld!

Today, August 7, 2026, marks 19 years since JoshiesWorld was founded on August 7, 2007. It is hard to believe that JoshiesWorld is now only one year away from reaching two decades. As I reflect on the past 19 years, the first thing I want to say is thank you. I am truly grateful to every one of you who has supported JoshiesWorld over the years. Your support has helped JoshiesWorld continue to exist, grow, and become what it is today. Without that support, there is always the possibility that JoshiesWorld could have disappeared after only a year or two. Instead, here we are 19 years later and still going. Personally, I, Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan, cannot thank all of you enough. Your support continues to motivate me to do what I love: blogging, journalism, reviewing products, businesses, restaurants, entertainment, and whatever else I can get my hands on. When I review something, my goal is to give people useful information that may help them decide whether to buy it or not, try it or not, watch it or not, visit it or not, or simply decide whether something is right for them. JoshiesWorld is introducing two new images that businesses, restaurants, hotels, brands, individuals, organizations, and others may use after being reviewed or recommended by JoshiesWorld. The two images are: These images make it easier for customers, clients, followers, and other members of the public to see that JoshiesWorld has reviewed or recommended a company, product, service, location, event, or individual. What Is the Difference? The Reviewed by JoshiesWorld image means that JoshiesWorld has published a review about the business, product, service, location, event, individual, or organization. Being reviewed does not automatically mean that JoshiesWorld recommends it. A review may be positive, negative, mixed, or neutral, depending on JoshiesWorld’s honest experience and findings. The Recommended by JoshiesWorld image is different. It means that JoshiesWorld has reviewed something and believes it is worthy of being recommended to others. Someone may receive the Reviewed by JoshiesWorld image without receiving the Recommended by JoshiesWorld image. The recommendation image will only be provided when JoshiesWorld has officially recommended what was reviewed. Who May Use the Images? A milestone for JoshiesWorld reaching 400th Facebook follower!

Wow! JoshiesWorld on Facebook has reached 400 followers today! About a month ago, it had only 260 followers, but about two weeks ago, it jumped from 260 to 360 (100 followers), and now, to this day, it has reached over 400 followers who support JoshiesWorld! From my heart, I thank everyone so very much for supporting JoshiesWorld and for continuing to support JoshiesWorld since day one. That means a lot to me. If it weren’t for your support, JoshiesWorld wouldn’t have become one of the top Deaf 50 websites and blogs of 2025, one of the top 100 Kentucky websites and blogs of 2025, and now has over 400 followers here on Facebook! This is the owner of JoshiesWorld, Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan, and I want to personally wish every one of you a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays, such as Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and others I may have forgotten to mention! As for Hanukkah, I am somewhat late, as it is celebrated from December 14 to 22. But I still want to recognize that, as other holidays besides Christmas and New Year are important as well. Some know what these holidays are, where they come from, and how they are celebrated. The celebration of Christmas started in Rome around 336, but it was not a major Christian festival until the 19th century, which began on January 1 in 1801 and ended on December 31 in 1900. The original reason for Christmas was to celebrate Jesus Christ’s birthday on December 25, a tradition established by Pope Julius I, combining religious observances with influences from winter solstice festivals such as Yule and Saturnalia. As for Hanukkah, it is a holiday for the Jewish people, the word Hanukkah means dedication due to purifying the Temple after the Jewish resistance against the Greek occuptation by Seleucid Empire after they outlawed the Jewish practices and defiled their Temple in 168 B.C.E. Hey everybody! I am asking for your help, if you don’t mind. I would be incredibly grateful if you would follow JoshiesWorld on any social media platforms. In the post below, you will find a list of JoshiesWorld’s social media channels and accounts to follow. The most important ones are Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Many businesses prefer Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. As a Deaf and disabled content creator, it is incredibly challenging to gain followers and even more difficult to secure opportunities from businesses seeking content creators to collaborate with or to send products for review. Businesses, corporations, organizations, services, agencies, and the like are actively seeking content creators with a large following. It means that these content creators influence their audience to consider their products, whether through positive or negative reviews, because they focus on advertising their products or services to their followers. Some content creators can gain millions of followers within a year or so, while others, such as Deaf and/or disabled content creators, have been around for years or even over a decade and still have very small followings. So, here we are with a new multitopic article. If you haven’t read the first one, which explains what a multitopic article is, it’s essentially a condensed version covering multiple topics in one article. There were different names for this kind of article before, such as tidbits, which I didn’t feel was the right name, so I changed it to snippets. I still didn’t feel right with that name. I have had a few followers who suggested a better name for it. Hence, I had to think again for a name that would be easily recognizable for the readers to know what kind of article is going to be, so I thought of multiple topics then combined them to a multitopic, which is a pretty much self-explained title, I believe, so I am satisfied with that name for the articles that have more than one topic. It seems that it is acceptable to my followers, so that is important. To whom this may concern at Snapchat, This is Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan, an owner of JoshiesWorld since August 7, 2007. I am writing an open/public letter to Snapchat, also known as Snapchat Inc. For over a decade, I have been dealing with Snapchat’s stubborn refusal to hand over the username JoshiesWorld to me, as I have been the rightful owner of JoshiesWorld since August 7, 2007. I am still very disappointed with Snapchat, and I am getting tired of their repeated excuse that when it comes to usernames, it’s first-come, first-served. It’s understandable if the name doesn’t belong to anyone, but not when it’s already owned by someone else. I’ve sent all kinds of documents proving my ownership of JoshiesWorld since August 7, 2007. The person who registered under my identity brand name hasn’t been active for over a decade. Snapchat needs to do the right thing, and it makes no sense for it to keep an inactive registered name over the rightful owner, who would be more active. Additionally, they would receive more business from my use than from an inactive user. Even though I do have a Snapchat account, which is TheJoshiesWorld, I registered that name, which was meant to be temporary, until Snapchat hands over the name JoshiesWorld to me as the rightful owner by changing my…
