Acceptable Products
JoshiesWorld reviews nearly all product categories with one clear boundary:
- Products designed exclusively for women (such as makeup or women-specific items) are not accepted.
- Unisex products are fully acceptable.

Local vs. Long-Distance Reviews
JoshiesWorld is based near Pikeville, KY, and Logan, WV.
Local reviews (Pike County, KY / Mingo County, WV, and nearby areas)
No travel cost required.
Long-distance reviews
If your business, hotel, restaurant, or service is located outside the area and requires travel, expenses must be covered, including:
- Hotel accommodations
- Gasoline/transportation
- Vehicle rental, if necessary
JoshiesWorld does not generally travel specifically for a review unless necessary travel expenses are covered.
Occasionally, JoshiesWorld travels out of state. Businesses may watch social media and extend invitations if I’m already visiting their region.
Editorial Integrity Policy (Non-Negotiable)
JoshiesWorld reviews are 100% independent and cannot be influenced.
Providing products, meals, trips, services, or accommodations does NOT guarantee a positive review.
Businesses must understand:
- No edits or approvals are allowed.
- No payments change outcomes.
- No favors sway opinions.
If it’s great, I’ll say it.
If it’s not, I’ll say that too.
Credibility is the brand. Trust matters. JoshiesWorld protects both by keeping reviews independent.

Publishing & FTC Disclosure
Once a review is published:
- It is shared across JoshiesWorld social media
- Businesses are tagged when applicable
- Proper FTC disclosure is included whenever products, meals, trips, or services are provided
Transparency isn’t optional — it’s required and enforced.
Typical review turnaround: 2–3 weeks

Reviewed and Recommended Badges
After a review is published, the subject of the review may be eligible to receive an official Reviewed by JoshiesWorld badge.
If JoshiesWorld recommends the product, business, restaurant, service, experience, or other subject based on the published review, it may also receive the Recommended by JoshiesWorld badge.
The Reviewed badge confirms that JoshiesWorld has published a review. The Recommended badge represents an additional recommendation based on JoshiesWorld’s independent evaluation.
Receiving either badge does not affect the review, rating, or editorial outcome. Badges are issued only after publication and must be used according to the JoshiesWorld Badge Usage Policy.

Not a Business? You Can Still Request a Review
Individuals may request JoshiesWorld to review a product they’re considering.
Options:
- Donate funds for JoshiesWorld to purchase the item (invoice provided)
- Purchase the item yourself and ship it for review
If you don’t want to spend money, you may contact the company and suggest they send the product to JoshiesWorld directly for review consideration.
