There was talk in the town about a new restaurant, Toronto’s Steakhouse and Mexican Bar and Grill. Many locals talked about the restaurant and looked forward to trying out the food and drinks it offered. Several local news outlets have written an article about the new restaurant. As a journalist/blogger, I didn’t write anything about it because I have often seen a few local restaurants or businesses open but only last a short time and go out of business, which is unfortunate to witness as a local. Plus, when they opened Toronto’s Steakhouse and Mexican Bar and Grill, they already had a competitor on day one because they weren’t the town’s only steakhouse and/or Mexican restaurant. We have a Steakhouse in South Williamson, Ky, that restaurant is one of the longest running restaurants in the area, and then there is Sazon Mexican Restaurant in the same town, and El Torito Mexican restaurant in South Williamson, Ky, which is only about 1.5 miles away from these Mexican restaurants. There is another one, but it’s a bit further in Matewan, WV, called Mi Pueblito, about 6 miles away, Hacienda Mexican restaurant in Logan, WV, about 4 miles away, and Mi Hacienda Mexican restaurant in Pikeville, KY, about 5 miles away. I have eaten from two different Firehouse Subs locations, one in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and Lexington, Kentucky. The first time I tried Firehouse Subs was the one in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, when my mother and I went there on vacation for half a week or a week that I cannot remember because we have been to Pigeon Forge too many times for my liking. This Firehouse Subs in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, could be found at 2726 Pkwy (a few buildings down from Mountain Vista Inn but on the other side of the road). I ate there a few years ago; I have not eaten anything from Firehouse Subs for a few years since they don’t have a restaurant down where I live (Dear Firehouse Subs: Hint Pikeville, Ky). Several years later, my stepfather had to go to Lexington in Kentucky because I actually cannot remember. On his way back, he discovered that there are one Firehouse Subs in Lexington, Kentucky, so we figured that since he would be there, he could bring some back home for my mother and me to eat for dinner that night, so he did. I have been experiencing a pressing issue with my iPhone 8 Plus, which I have owned for over two years now. I plan to continue using it, even though I am overdue for a contract renewal, but I am holding off because of the highly anticipated new iPhone this year, 2020. They are discussing how 2020 is the year to be on the lookout for, especially for the iPhone, which is my reason for holding out, so I am waiting for one in September 2020. Nonetheless, when a gadget ages, it usually becomes more prone to problems, and like there is a saying – nothing is unbreakable. My iPhone 8 Plus screen started coming off on one side. The problem wasn’t my screen; it was the iPhone’s battery, and the screen started coming out of its body (phone) due to the battery swelling up. Yes, batteries do run down if you heavily rely on charging your device, and this is what happens to my iPhone because I always keep my phone connected to my desktop for charging and syncing. After all, in my mind, I should always keep my iPhone fully charged in case anything happens, such as a power outage, or if we are going somewhere unexpected, or for other reasons.
