First of all I would like to take a bit of the time to connect myself with all of you before I begin writing the article for today here as I usually like to engage with all of my friends or bloggers word “readers” before I write some articles. How are you all doing, everybody and what have you all have been up to lately? I hope that all of you haven’t gotten in trouble lately whether it is an accident or not accident and I hope that all of you are doing well especially in the wet areas. By wet areas I mean the areas where the rain or thunderstorms that are always there like here, if some of you lives in any dry areas then you are very lucky because down here it’s getting old quick because in this area it almost rains everyday along with the thunderstorms although regardless how aggravating it is to live in the area where there is always rain it has upside which is growing fruits, vegetables and crops healthy. The dry areas such as California downside would be that they are struggling with growing some plants whether it be vegetables or fruits, not only that also water to drink or to bathe in but I am sure that they will be alright…
All countries have military to defend each of their countries from other countries and when any countries are under any threats or attacked the countries then they will most likely declare a war against any countries that threatened or attacked them by sending military troops from any branch over to the attacker country with offense to fight them for attacking their country while having the defensive troops standby at their own country to defend if anyone from the attacker’s country decides to come over to that country or if they launch missiles then the country has the defensive military to stop the incoming attacks if possible. Every countries military have the pride in themselves for being a soldier that fights and defend their own countries, not only that every soldiers are fighting for their country to defend their family which that is their primary reason of being soldiers and that is understandable because no one likes to see anybody harms their own family. In fact a lot of people who wants to become the soldiers to fight and defend for their country due to some reasons including to defends their own country where their family is but not everyone can join to be a soldier which is a bit of discrimination by own country or governments in my opinion whether…
I believe that this news is going to be very exciting for the people especially in the deaf community who is deaf or hard of hearing because everyday they struggles to have access to some services that everyone has except the people who is deaf or hard of hearing that requires voice or to listen. The most of the problem in deaf community would be communication barriers which is obvious because they use sign language (American Sign Language/ASL) to communicate and most of the people who is hearing don’t know their language to be able to communicate with the people who is deaf or hard of hearing, when they are at some important events by law they are required to provide the interpreter to the people who is deaf or hard of hearing so that each others can communicate. Now it is impossible for anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing to use the phone to make a phone call because they are not able to hear so if they ever need medical attention or is in danger of something and they won’t be able to get some help by calling the emergency center using the number of 911, that is the problem and unfair to them because hearing people can call 911 when they need medical attention or need…
The first and well-known university for deaf and hard of hearing Gallaudet University marks 150 years and is celebrating for it ever since the day the 16th president for United States of America signed a bill titled 13th amendment to the constitution on April 8th, 1864 that the senate approved of to end the slavery and had the moment to sign a bill of interest to senate committee on the district of Columbia and educators in the nation’s capital. Which that authorized Columbia institution for the deaf and dumb and the blind to award degrees in the liberal arts and sciences. This is one of the reason I am very proud America that resided in United States of America for more than twenty-seven (27) years and that the bill is very important to deaf and hard of hearing especially giving them the same rights that hearing (people who can hear) have in United States of America. I stumbled upon a article that wrote by Fox News that upsets me more than anything. The title of the article says “Feds try to eliminate housing for the deaf”. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) who granted to pay 2.6 million in funds to build a complex named Apache ASL Trails that has 75 units for deaf and hard of hearing to live in back in 2005 but now they changed their mind and are wanting to force the deaf and hard of hearing residents to move out and be homeless. Apache ASL Trails is located in Arizona, the senate of R-Ariz are fighting to put a stop in HUD to force the deaf and hard of hearing residents to move out and make them homeless, but HUD are quite powerful especially their lawyers and are willing to be inhumanity because all they care about is for themselves and not anyone who residents in Arizona especially the deaf and hard of hearing. There is deaf news where they give the news all around in the world for only deaf and hard of hearing to watch the video about the news they have up to date or read the update news they have. Today one of the news on deaf news has the title that stated “Congressman hires deaf interns” and that caught my attention because my belief is that all deaf or hard of hearing are equal to hearing people but sadly, often they are not recognized as much as the hearing people are in America especially when it come to important things such as career, politics and among others. That is what makes me ill is that often a lot of people who think that deaf or hard of hearing people cannot do what the hearing people can do, that has been a heated debate going on for several decades. Same way as men vs women for driving, comparing their skills and such.
