Today, August 7th, 2025, marks the 18th anniversary of JoshiesWorld! JoshiesWorld was founded on August 7th, 2007, which seems like a couple of years ago to me, but it is eighteen (18) years, which is unbelievable, but at the same time, it is humbling for me. It was the birth of my passion to become a blogger/journalist. From there, I expanded into reviewing and content creation, and JoshiesWorld evolved into not only a news and media company but also a personal identity brand for me as a content creator. Since the beginning of 2007, it has grown significantly and continues to grow, but it wouldn’t be possible without the support some of you have given to JoshiesWorld! JoshiesWorld wouldn’t still be around if it weren’t for your support and the continued motivation that you have given me to continue. JoshiesWorld grows because of your support, including sharing the words about JoshiesWorld, sharing the content published by JoshiesWorld, the donations that some of you have given to JoshiesWorld over the years since JoshiesWorld was founded, and helping to promote JoshiesWorld with merchandise such as stickers, pens, business cards, and more. For a few instances, my mom would hand out stickers, pens, business cards, and wear a couple of JoshiesWorld’s t-shirts. The other one is this guy, who, unfortunately, is no longer around here with us. He slapped JoshiesWorld stickers on his electric wheelchair and goes traveling in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville in Tennessee. A best friend of mine had JoshiesWorld on his motorcycle helmet and rode with it everywhere around on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Some people have JoshiesWorld’s stickers on their vehicles and other things to show their support for JoshiesWorld. It isn’t only that people support JoshiesWorld, but they also support me at the same time. That may not seem like a big deal to some of you, but believe me, it is a huge deal to me. No matter how small or big, some of you supported me. I greatly appreciate them all more than you will ever know. Even a mention of JoshiesWorld to somebody means a lot to me. Regardless of how, where, and what, that some of you support JoshiesWorld means the world to me!
Speaking of JoshiesWorld’s growth, I admit that from the beginning, I struggled to get the word out about JoshiesWorld. However, it is starting to get recognized by a wide range of people, including businesses/corporations, agencies, universities/colleges, restaurants, and others. Some businesses send their products to JoshiesWorld for review, while others invite us to visit their establishments at their expense. When they do, it is expected that the articles or review articles I write on or about them are honest and authentic. In other words, if they are good, then they are good; if they are not good, then they are not good. The reason for that is that I refuse to betray the trust of my supporters, fans, readers, viewers, and even strangers. That goes the same with articles, whether they are news, opinionated, analytical, investigative, story/narrative, or others. If I wrote a bad article or review about something, they are more than welcome to ask me to try them again if they’ve improved since my review. I believe in giving people a second chance, but if they still aren’t good, I will say so.
The bottom line is that not only is JoshiesWorld’s credibility vital to me, but so is the trust people have in me, knowing that the reviews I publish are honest and authentic. Same way with my articles, at any time that I have gotten a source or a tip about something, I will not publish it right away because I must verify that these sources I have gotten are factual before I can write an article about the information or a tip that I have gotten from other people. I won’t tell people it is red when it’s blue. With that said, I greatly appreciate the trust that they have given me when it comes to my articles and reviews. I also appreciate some business from people in the past and the future. I am thankful for the past collaborations, and I look forward to more collaborations in the future with JoshiesWorld!
What are my goals for JoshiesWorld? While it is impossible to predict the future, I do have some goals that I would like and hope to accomplish. The main goal is to be more consistent for both articles and reviews. I have been struggling with that lately, so that is the main goal that I have for JoshiesWorld. I would also like to explore more opportunities with businesses, such as reviewing more products and attending events with expenses paid, similar to other content creators. I believe my disability makes me stand out, particularly as a disabled traveler or content creator. You see a lot of traveling agencies or governments from different countries paying content creators to visit with expenses paid, but what about disabled content creators? So, that is more unique, I’d think. I hope to collaborate with people such as other content creators or businesses. Collaboration differs from writing a review article, as it is meant to benefit both parties. For instance, sending me something or having me take pictures or videos with them and share them on the social media platforms to benefit each other. They want me to wear designer shirts or shoes and take pictures or videos with them, then share them on JoshiesWorld’s social media accounts without writing a review article about them? I am down for that! They are known for paid or sponsored content. Last but not least, I would like to get some funding, whether that be through donations, sponsorships, grants, etc., to pay for some gear such as drones, action cameras, mirrorless cameras, software, tools, laptops, accessories, and others that would be used to create some content for JoshiesWorld. This includes funding for online advertisements featuring ads that encourage people to follow JoshiesWorld on Facebook or Instagram and visit the website. Those are the goals I have for JoshiesWorld, and I’m considering hosting a small event for supporters to celebrate with me on JoshiesWorld’s 20th birthday in two years. I’m just thinking, but who knows! Maybe some giveaways for JoshiesWorld supporters?!
As for the celebration for JoshiesWorld’s 18th birthday, I ask for your continued support, and there are different ways that you can support JoshiesWorld, such as sharing the words about JoshiesWorld, following or sharing JoshiesWorld’s social media accounts, like JoshiesWorld’s Facebook and Instagram, to encourage others to follow JoshiesWorld on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms. Share some posts that JoshiesWorld published on some social media platforms. You can help by continuing to send JoshiesWorld information, tips, or topics for investigation to write an article. You can do a fan sign picture and send it to me/JoshiesWorld. If you wonder what a fan sign is, click here to view some fan signs, and click here if you want to send pictures of fan signs. If you have any JoshiesWorld merch, continue using/wearing it. If you see me in person and want a couple of stickers/pens/cards, please let me know. If you are far away and don’t know me personally, but you’d like some JoshiesWorld’s merch, you are welcome to order some through JoshiesWorld’s store, which I would greatly appreciate! Again, from my heart, I thank everyone for your support for JoshiesWorld, small or big, I greatly appreciate it! Without your support, JoshiesWorld might not still be around. It is because of your support that I am motivated to continue doing what I love, which is being a content creator (as a blogger/journalist and a reviewer). Family, friends, acquaintances, supporters, followers, fans, readers, viewers, and strangers, I thank you all from my heart! I cannot believe that JoshiesWorld has been going for 18 years and still is going! I am looking forward to whatever comes for JoshiesWorld, and I’m excited to see where it’s headed when it turns 20 years old! It is so humbling, and my saying thanks does not cover it because it’s more than that for me. If you have a passion for something, even if it is a risk, go for it, and don’t give up. Here’s a motto to live by: to learn to succeed, you must first learn to fail. Keep on rocking, ladies, and guys! Stay safe.
