A milestone for JoshiesWorld reaching 400th Facebook follower!

Wow! JoshiesWorld on Facebook has reached 400 followers today! About a month ago, it had only 260 followers, but about two weeks ago, it jumped from 260 to 360 (100 followers), and now, to this day, it has reached over 400 followers who support JoshiesWorld! From my heart, I thank everyone so very much for supporting JoshiesWorld and for continuing to support JoshiesWorld since day one. That means a lot to me. If it weren’t for your support, JoshiesWorld wouldn’t have become one of the top Deaf 50 websites and blogs of 2025, one of the top 100 Kentucky websites and blogs of 2025, and now has over 400 followers here on Facebook! Some products land squarely on my radar for a JoshiesWorld review, and supporting small businesses is always one of them. One such brand is TruBiz Coffee Co., which kindly sent over one of its coffees for review. The product featured here is Kiss-Fist French Vanilla Coffee (Ground, 12 oz.). Hey there, everybody! I hope that all of you are doing well and keeping warm, since we are heading into winter, cold weather, depending on where you are from. Speaking of where you are from, I would love to hear where you are from (do not give the exact location, but a region, or at least a hundred or so miles away), and how the weather is over there in the comment. Some of you already know that I am from the eastern part of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, near the border with West Virginia in the Appalachian Mountains. The weather here in winter often surprises us; one day it feels like summer, and the next it’s freezing with snow. For instance, a perfect example of a weather surprise is the flood a day after Valentine’s Day this year, 2025, which has become the second-largest flood since 1977. The great flood of 1977 submerged most of our cities, and that happened again almost 50 years later on February 15th, 2025. It was unbelievable to witness, because where I reside, by a river, the river became pretty much a lake, with my house becoming an oceanfront. Hey everybody! I am asking for your help, if you don’t mind. I would be incredibly grateful if you would follow JoshiesWorld on any social media platforms. In the post below, you will find a list of JoshiesWorld’s social media channels and accounts to follow. The most important ones are Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Many businesses prefer Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. As a Deaf and disabled content creator, it is incredibly challenging to gain followers and even more difficult to secure opportunities from businesses seeking content creators to collaborate with or to send products for review. Businesses, corporations, organizations, services, agencies, and the like are actively seeking content creators with a large following. It means that these content creators influence their audience to consider their products, whether through positive or negative reviews, because they focus on advertising their products or services to their followers. Some content creators can gain millions of followers within a year or so, while others, such as Deaf and/or disabled content creators, have been around for years or even over a decade and still have very small followings. To whom this may concern at Snapchat, This is Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan, an owner of JoshiesWorld since August 7th, 2007. I am writing an open/public letter to Snapchat, also known as Snapchat Inc. For over a decade, I have been dealing with Snapchat’s stubbornness and refusal to hand over the username JoshiesWorld to me, as I am the rightful owner of JoshiesWorld since August 7, 2007. I am still utterly disappointed with Snapchat, and I am getting tired of their repeated excuse that when it comes to usernames, it’s first-come, first-served. It’s understandable if the name doesn’t belong to anyone, but not when it’s already owned by someone else. I’ve sent all kinds of documents that include proof of my ownership of JoshiesWorld since August 7, 2007. The person who registered with my identity brand name hasn’t been active for over a decade now. Snapchat needs to do the right thing, and it makes no sense that Snapchat keeps an inactive registered name over the rightful owner who would be more active. Additionally, they would receive more business through my usage compared to getting nothing from an inactive user. Toronto’s Steakhouse and Mexican Bar and Grill

There was talk in the town about a new restaurant, Toronto’s Steakhouse and Mexican Bar and Grill. Many locals talked about the restaurant and looked forward to trying out the food and drinks it offered. Several local news outlets have written an article about the new restaurant. As a journalist/blogger, I didn’t write anything about it because I have often seen a few local restaurants or businesses open but only last a short time and go out of business, which is unfortunate to witness as a local. Plus, when they opened Toronto’s Steakhouse and Mexican Bar and Grill, they already had a competitor on day one because they weren’t the town’s only steakhouse and/or Mexican restaurant. We have a Steakhouse in South Williamson, Ky, that restaurant is one of the longest running restaurants in the area, and then there is Sazon Mexican Restaurant in the same town, and El Torito Mexican restaurant in South Williamson, Ky, which is only about 1.5 miles away from these Mexican restaurants. There is another one, but it’s a bit further in Matewan, WV, called Mi Pueblito, about 6 miles away, Hacienda Mexican restaurant in Logan, WV, about 4 miles away, and Mi Hacienda Mexican restaurant in Pikeville, KY, about 5 miles away.
