Danville Police killed a Deaf Kentuckian

A 29-year-old Deaf person named Cody Wayne Downey of Russell Springs, from the Commonwealth of Kentucky, was shot dead by the police in Danville, Kentucky, about a couple of weeks ago, on January 11th, 2026, at Center Estates Apartments, where he resided.
