There was talk in the town about a new restaurant, Toronto’s Steakhouse and Mexican Bar and Grill. Many locals talked about the restaurant and looked forward to trying out the food and drinks it offered. Several local news outlets have written an article about the new restaurant. As a journalist/blogger, I didn’t write anything about it because I have often seen a few local restaurants or businesses open but only last a short time and go out of business, which is unfortunate to witness as a local. Plus, when they opened Toronto’s Steakhouse and Mexican Bar and Grill, they already had a competitor on day one because they weren’t the town’s only steakhouse and/or Mexican restaurant. We have a Steakhouse in South Williamson, Ky, that restaurant is one of the longest running restaurants in the area, and then there is Sazon Mexican Restaurant in the same town, and El Torito Mexican restaurant in South Williamson, Ky, which is only about 1.5 miles away from these Mexican restaurants. There is another one, but it’s a bit further in Matewan, WV, called Mi Pueblito, about 6 miles away, Hacienda Mexican restaurant in Logan, WV, about 4 miles away, and Mi Hacienda Mexican restaurant in Pikeville, KY, about 5 miles away. I am a big fan of Pizza Hut restaurants; who doesn’t love Pizza Hut?! They launched a few new items for their menu not too long ago, and one of them is called Melts. What is it, and what do I think of them? I will share that here, along with a review! At first, I admit that I was so confused with the name of the new item they had put on their menu because the look of it and how they described the food item didn’t exactly give me a clear image of what it was until I looked into it more. If the people over at Pizza Hut and some people come to me to tell me that they resisted ordering that item named Melts or that they are struggling to sell them, then it is no wonder. Because I resisted ordering melts for a while because, again, I was unsure of the food item; if you hear a pizza restaurant telling you that the new item on their menu is called melts, tell me, what does it sound like? Almost like a cheese stick, cheesy, or something that has to do with cheese being melted. Maybe macaroni and cheese? Perhaps it’s the cheese itself but seasoned? Ohh! It was almost expected that this pizza restaurant would not be very good. The only reason this deserves one and a half stars is that the staff are friendly, but the pizza, along with their other food, is the problem. The pizza they create has very tough, rubber-like, dried cheese with a cardboard-tasting crust. Their food doesn’t taste fresh, as if the sauce is canned and the sausage is frozen pepperoni slices you can buy at Walmart or other grocery stores. On my conscience, I can never recommend their food to anyone, locally or nationally. If anyone is looking for a pizza they can enjoy, there are two that are 10 times better: Pizza Hut and Little Caesars.
Tidbits And The Mother Nature.
On the day of July 13th 2015 everyone were doing their everyday routines whether it be working, running some errands, hanging out with family or friends and whatever else that everyone’s usual routines are but something had happened that no one knew that would happen to every one of them including myself. While every one here in few of counties such as Pike County, Martin County, Johnson County, Perry County among other few more that is in both states of Kentucky and West Virginia enjoying their days regardless what they were doing while at same time not expecting something that would be something bad on the way to these counties that would literally turn everyone that lives around these areas life up downside rather quickly.
