This is the owner of JoshiesWorld, Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan, and I want to personally wish every one of you a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays, such as Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and others I may have forgotten to mention! As for Hanukkah, I am somewhat late, as it is celebrated from December 14 to 22. But I still want to recognize that, as other holidays besides Christmas and New Year are important as well. Some know what these holidays are, where they come from, and how they are celebrated. The celebration of Christmas started in Rome around 336, but it was not a major Christian festival until the 19th century, which began on January 1 in 1801 and ended on December 31 in 1900. The original reason for Christmas was to celebrate Jesus Christ’s birthday on December 25, a tradition established by Pope Julius I, combining religious observances with influences from winter solstice festivals such as Yule and Saturnalia. As for Hanukkah, it is a holiday for the Jewish people, the word Hanukkah means dedication due to purifying the Temple after the Jewish resistance against the Greek occuptation by Seleucid Empire after they outlawed the Jewish practices and defiled their Temple in 168 B.C.E. Hey there, everybody! I hope that all of you are doing well and keeping warm, since we are heading into winter, cold weather, depending on where you are from. Speaking of where you are from, I would love to hear where you are from (do not give the exact location, but a region, or at least a hundred or so miles away), and how the weather is over there in the comment. Some of you already know that I am from the eastern part of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, near the border with West Virginia in the Appalachian Mountains. The weather here in winter often surprises us; one day it feels like summer, and the next it’s freezing with snow. For instance, a perfect example of a weather surprise is the flood a day after Valentine’s Day this year, 2025, which has become the second-largest flood since 1977. The great flood of 1977 submerged most of our cities, and that happened again almost 50 years later on February 15th, 2025. It was unbelievable to witness, because where I reside, by a river, the river became pretty much a lake, with my house becoming an oceanfront. In the post below, you will find a list of JoshiesWorld’s social media channels and accounts to follow. The most important ones are Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Many businesses prefer Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. As a Deaf and disabled content creator, it is incredibly challenging to gain followers and even more difficult to secure opportunities from businesses seeking content creators to collaborate with or to send products for review. Businesses, corporations, organizations, services, agencies, and the like are actively seeking content creators with a large following. It means that these content creators influence their audience to consider their products, whether through positive or negative reviews, because they focus on advertising their products or services to their followers. Some content creators can gain millions of followers within a year or so, while others, such as Deaf and/or disabled content creators, have been around for years or even over a decade and still have very small followings. So, here we are with a new multitopic article. If you haven’t read the first one, which explains what a multitopic article is, it’s essentially a condensed version covering multiple topics in one article. There were different names for this kind of article before, such as tidbits, which I didn’t feel was the right name, so I changed it to snippets. I still didn’t feel right with that name. I have had a few followers who suggested a better name for it. Hence, I had to think again for a name that would be easily recognizable for the readers to know what kind of article is going to be, so I thought of multiple topics then combined them to a multitopic, which is a pretty much self-explained title, I believe, so I am satisfied with that name for the articles that have more than one topic. It seems that it is acceptable to my followers, so that is important. To whom this may concern at Snapchat, This is Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan, an owner of JoshiesWorld since August 7th, 2007. I am writing an open/public letter to Snapchat, also known as Snapchat Inc. For over a decade, I have been dealing with Snapchat’s stubbornness and refusal to hand over the username JoshiesWorld to me, as I am the rightful owner of JoshiesWorld since August 7, 2007. I am still utterly disappointed with Snapchat, and I am getting tired of their repeated excuse that when it comes to usernames, it’s first-come, first-served. It’s understandable if the name doesn’t belong to anyone, but not when it’s already owned by someone else. I’ve sent all kinds of documents that include proof of my ownership of JoshiesWorld since August 7, 2007. The person who registered with my identity brand name hasn’t been active for over a decade now. Snapchat needs to do the right thing, and it makes no sense that Snapchat keeps an inactive registered name over the rightful owner who would be more active. Additionally, they would receive more business through my usage compared to getting nothing from an inactive user. Today, August 7th, 2025, marks the 18th anniversary of JoshiesWorld! JoshiesWorld was founded on August 7th, 2007, which seems like a couple of years ago to me, but it is eighteen (18) years, which is unbelievable, but at the same time, it is humbling for me. It was the birth of my passion to become a blogger/journalist. From there, I expanded into reviewing and content creation, and JoshiesWorld evolved into not only a news and media company but also a personal identity brand for me as a content creator. Since the beginning of 2007, it has grown significantly and continues to grow, but it wouldn’t be possible without the support some of you have given to JoshiesWorld! JoshiesWorld wouldn’t still be around if it weren’t for your support and the continued motivation that you have given me to continue. To The Victims Of Los Angeles, California Wildfires

My heart and thoughts go out to the victims of the wildfires in Los Angeles, California. Many of the victims lose their homes, some of them homes that they grew up living in and continued to live in. This is not the time nor a place to be political about it. These people are suffering, and we have a few politicians who sneer at them just because California isn’t a Republican state. That should not matter; they are human beings affected by it. Both parties should be united for once and help these people affected by California’s wildfires. It’s not only a saddening thing to see that these people in California’s wildfires suffer while politicians like President-elect Donald Trump make silly remarks and spew nonsense words instead of listening to what they need help with and then taking action. For instance, President Joe Biden did that for Texas when a hurricane hit Texas severely. President Biden quickly declared an emergency for that state and sent FEMA down there right away instead of spewing the silly words that President-elect Donald Trump is saying. Donald Trump will be the President of the United States of America whether we like it or not. Still, he needs to be America’s president rather than being a President to only a certain group or for himself.…
