Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon

Ever since I got a new camera for my professional photography, a few things on the list are a must-have for every photographer, and one of them is extra batteries. Having extra batteries means that we have to get chargers for them as well because batteries for camera are often sold separately without the actual charger, as there are a few options that we could go for, such as getting the OEM charger or go for a third-party charger that can charge more than one battery, so that was the routine I took. If I were to go for every OEM battery charger for each battery, I would need several outlets for them. A twin (double) battery charger has a better advantage because it can charge two or more batteries using only one outlet and is less cluttered this way.

I will be happier if the same manufacturer of the camera’s battery says Nikon has their own charging station for any batteries they have for all of their batteries. Still, they do not have a single charger for one battery, so one charger for each one battery, and knowing us photographers who need a good number of batteries, we probably have several power strips to charge all of the batteries for our camera(s). The problem with that is, it is a bit dangerous especially if we use too many power strips for one or two of the outlets on the wall which that can cause fire and also it is clutter which takes up a lot of our space or take over the outlets that we need for something else to charge like our laptops. This is where the charger that can charge more than one battery comes in handy; a dual charger or a charging station such as a charger can simultaneously charge four or more batteries. Again most of the camera’s manufacturers do not have them as they only have a charger for a single battery. So, we then have to rely on a third party for that, which means we have to look somewhere else for a charger that can charge more than one battery, and depending on what kind of batteries they are, they can be a very few or many of them. In my case, very few third-party manufacturers out there make a charger to charge the batteries because the battery that I have is Nikon’s EN-EL15C which is the newest line of Nikon’s EN-EL15 batteries, and the version C one lasts the longest out of all.

After a long searching for one, as I said that there are only a very few manufacturers that make chargers for EN-EL15C, and I finally stumbled upon one but with hesitation because I was not sure if that third party manufacturer is aware of the newest battery of the EN-EL15 line like EN-EL15C. After doing depth research on that one particular third party’s charger, I have decided to go ahead and purchase the charger, knowing that even if it does not charge the EN-EL15C that I can easily have it sent back for a refund, so it was no harm for me to check it out. That one particular third-party battery charger that I ordered is the Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin charger for Nikon. Manfrotto also makes one for different brands such as Canon, Sony, or others.

Now I am reviewing and sharing my thought on the Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon since EN-EL15C is one of Nikon’s batteries. When I received the shipment, I went right ahead to open the package and have it out because, as I said, I was worrying that it might not be compatible with the latest battery of the EN-EL15 line, so I had to get right to it to answer my burning question. After I opened the Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon, all of the things in that box is Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon, a plate for AA batteries that we can use to recharge AA batteries, a few plug adapters such as U.S., Euro, UK, 12V Car cable and integrated USB cord. I used the U.S. adapter for the plug and plugged the Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon in. Right away, I thought there was something wrong with it because I have two Nikon EN-EL15C batteries, so I put both batteries in, but it did not do anything. The Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon has an LCD that would let you know if a battery or both batteries are being charged; it also shows how much these batteries charge in them shows how much it uses to charge one or both batteries. As I said, I put both batteries in it; the LCD did not tell me that they are being charged or anything, although it did light up a blank, so I took one battery out but left the first battery in, and it started showing that battery is being charged so I put the second battery back in then again it went blank, so that tells me something isn’t right. A light bulb came to my head, thinking that the second battery is a fresh new battery, so either that it is already fully charged or that it is maybe not recognized yet, so I went and charged that fresh new battery in the OEM charger to see if it would charge or not which it immediately started charging so I decided to leave it there for a few minutes. After I felt that it was long enough, so I pulled the new battery out of the OEM charger and put it back in the Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon, which from there finally shows both batteries are now charging as it shows two battery symbols in the LCD with the remaining bars in both batteries that are already charged.

I don’t know if I missed something, but now it works, and when a battery is fully charged, it will be blank. Still, I don’t know if it is supposed to be like that or not because after one battery is charged full, the symbol of a battery will disappear, but on the other battery, the battery is also charged fully. Still, the battery’s sign remains on the LCD, but after I used the battery in my camera and when I am done with it, I put it back on the charge, the battery symbol shows up again with charging bars, so I assume that it works properly. The Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon or any others is handy, and in my opinion, it is great to have, especially over a single OEM battery charger. Manfrotto has a great reputation and is very well-known in the photographers’ community for its accessories or gears. The Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger is high-end technology, as many other chargers only have a slight green or red light to let you know that your battery is being charged or is complete. Still, this Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger has an LCD that shows you the process of one or both batteries being charged, the remaining charges that they have left in one or both batteries, and how much energy it uses to charge one or both batteries. The LCD has great visibility and can be light up very well in the dark, so you will not struggle to find the battery or both batteries’ status.

I recommend Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon or any other brands. This charger charges more than a single battery as it can charge two camera batteries or four AA batteries. As for the camera’s batteries and the AA batteries tray, you cannot charge both simultaneously as you will have to choose which one to charge, such as two camera batteries at the same time or all four AA batteries at the same time. It also has a USB port, so it has multiple ways to charge. Speaking of the batteries to charge, such as two EN-ELC batteries or four AA batteries, it can charge all of the EN-EL15 battery lines and as well EN-EL14 batteries line as it says. The price for Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon is high-end but reasonable, especially what it can do because an OEM battery charger is $49. Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon is $80 ($79.99). Still, it is a bit cheaper than it would cost you to buy two OEM chargers to charge two batteries, and they don’t have cool features that Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon has!

Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon or other brands is a great option for any photographer who wants to charge at least more than one battery, such as two batteries, to make it less cluttered. It is better than having one charger plugged in to charge two batteries instead of having both chargers plugged in two outlets to charge two batteries, taking up a lot of space and more outlets than necessary. I am rating Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger For Nikon a 3.5, which translates really good.
