There are several businesses around today and many more of businesses are opening everyday which means more competitors that either hurts some of the businesses or shut out some of the businesses. Several new businesses is actually worse than the old businesses such as convince stores, gas stations, restaurants, clothing stores, factories and many type of others for businesses and everyone have their own preference especially when it comes to choosing which one to go to rather than the rest of other businesses. While it is great that there are many of new businesses opening because that means there is more jobs for hiring and this increase the rate of employments, but the downside is that it is also causing many of old businesses to lay off several of their employees which is a bit funny how it goes but the question is which old businesses or new businesses would be more necessary or which one would have more numbers of jobs? That is very great but a hard question and that gives every one of us something to think about or to figure out the answer to that question, but either way the new businesses are hurting the old businesses at least in my opinion.
Business preferences.
Everyone have their own preference of the businesses to go, such as which stores, restaurants, gas stations or others to go to but it’s often that every new business opens then most of the people would start going there instead of the old businesses that they used to go. There is local and nationwide or worldwide businesses that we can choose to use for shopping some of the things, depends on if some of them have something that we want or need. The nationwide or worldwide businesses are hurting the local businesses in a big way and it is someway wrong because if anyone needs to make a living then why not have a job at the local businesses which it would help them a lot while at same time the employees earns the money? It is mostly all about wanting the power because they are greedy enough to not get a job at local businesses and not starting up their new businesses just so they can have the power to control money and the people that happens to be employees.
If they want to have some kind of the power where they want to feel like the bosses then why not ask the founders of these local businesses for a franchise? Because not only that they can be the boss, get a big paychecks but at same time helping the local businesses by expanding if you think about it. Exactly like a pizza restaurant in Williamson in the state of West Virginia in United States is a local pizza restaurant expanded their business by opening another pizza restaurant Pizza Time in South Williamson in the state of Kentucky in United States so that the employees who used to work for Pizza Time in Williamson, West Virginia earns bigger paychecks by getting a permission to have a franchise pizza restaurant but at same time it opens up more jobs spot for anyone that needs a job and to expand the business for Pizza Time so it is a win-win situation.
In my opinion that there is too many new businesses when they could simply expand the local businesses instead by having franchised business such as opening another building for the same business instead of a whole new business which kills the local businesses and it is saddening. In some what it is killing the original creations like the first type of business, such as the first doughnuts invented was from Krispy Kreme and then a new doughnut company came out called Dunkin’ Donuts which is a copycat business and that is hurting Krispy Kreme in some way when the owners of Dunkin’ Donuts could easily open a franchise shop from Krispy Kreme and would almost make same amounts of dollars in their paychecks they are getting from their own Dunkin’ Donuts company. Not only that it would also open up several more jobs for anyone while at same time Krispy Kreme and the owners of Dunkin’ Donuts could make a lot more of money than Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’ Donuts is making now if you think about it.
The local businesses such as mom and pops stores is more comforting when shopping there and not a big chain store like Wal-Mart or Target, almost every local businesses is out of business because of the chain businesses kills them and these local businesses are the main reasons that it started chains stores or restaurants like Wal-Mart, Target, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Starbucks and among others. So in a way if there are fewer businesses then they would be very successful today and make more money altogether than the chains businesses. I don’t appreciate that the chains businesses is putting out the local businesses especially like mom and pops businesses, after all they were the ones who started out and started the market for everything. While the chain businesses putting out the local businesses, they don’t even bother to lend them a hand or work with them so that both local businesses and chain businesses would survive together without hurting each others especially the local ones.
I prefer to spend my money to local businesses than to spend my money to big businesses, and I wish that everyone who born after the local businesses started going out of the businesses would have a chance of visiting them because they make you feel at home. Like there used to be a convenient store called Piggy Wiggly in South Williamson in the state of Kentucky where everyone in the 80s used to rely on the local convenient store Piggy Wiggly for their grocery and clothes got run over by a chain store Wal-Mart, I miss that store and screw you Wal-Mart for that!
