Even though this blog aims for a broad range of people in general, meaning that this weblog is not a Deaf niche blog, as from the beginning to this day, I write articles for the people regardless of whether they are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, and any other kinds, as I produce for the people regardless of their background. That is, and has always been, my readers’ base for over eight (8) years, as I write about everything, so it’s not focused on just one or two niches; this blog is focused on all kinds of niches, or what I call “all-in-one” niches. One of fast foods chain somewhere over in the district of D.C. here in the United States decided to do something special, by doing something special which means they showed their appreciate to the Deaf community by temporarily changing the looks of the fast food restaurant itself and that is the Burger King. What did they do that shows their appreciation to the Deaf community? By changing the looks of the restaurant itself temporarily with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing’s native language American Sign Language (ASL). Although by on the social media, the Deaf community is saying that it is only for one day as there is some Deaf events that are going on down there in the district of D.C. and in my opinion I believe that Burger King should keep the way they are for at least a few days or more so a week if possible because then that would truly show that Burger King does appreciate their Deaf and Hard of Hearing customers who order their foods on regular basis. There were the warnings going off the hook on Thursday evening in the surroundings of Belfry areas in Pike County in the center of east in the state of Kentucky in United States that were telling everyone who resides in these areas in the Pike County, Ky to be prepared for a huge snowstorm that was coming over from in the morning on Friday to this evening on Saturday and that we would be getting the range in 15 inches to 20 inches of snow as the weather services says so of course this caused a panic to many people to where that they had to make a trip to the grocery store to buy some essentials including foods to be prepared for the snowstorm which they named it the Winter Snowstorm Jonas. In the warnings it said that we would be getting hit with around 30 mile per hours of gust/wind along with heavy snow and that it would very likely to cause power outage which that caused the power provider AEP Kentucky Power to call in additional crewmen for emergency assistance which comes from all over such as the state of Indiana, state of South Carolina, state of Michigan and others to standby for when we have power outage that would be affected from the snowstorm Jonas. There were a discrimination in the Deaf community recently as one Deaf man named Johnathan Ramos who decided to record a video using his cell phone where he is being discriminated by one of its employee who were threatening to call the police on Johnathan Ramos if Johnathan would not leave the place that the employee calls his own land when it’s not even his own land in begin with as the place that Johnathan Ramos was discriminated is one of fast-food chain McDonald’s in Columbus, Nebraska and the McDonald’s refused to serve the Deaf man Johnathan Ramos because of his inability to hear. McDonald’s have violated Americans with Disabilities Act for unwilling to use the communication that were preferred by Johnathan Ramos as every Deaf individual have the right to use the communication that they prefers and most comfortable with. While potential Deaf customer await to order his foods with the attempts to communicate with the employees of McDonald’s but then they called the police, the police have come to the McDonald’s and cited Johnathan Ramos.
