Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from JoshiesWorld!

This is the owner of JoshiesWorld, Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan, and I want to personally wish every one of you a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays, such as Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and others I may have forgotten to mention! As for Hanukkah, I am somewhat late, as it is celebrated from December 14 to 22. But I still want to recognize that, as other holidays besides Christmas and New Year are important as well. Some know what these holidays are, where they come from, and how they are celebrated. The celebration of Christmas started in Rome around 336, but it was not a major Christian festival until the 19th century, which began on January 1 in 1801 and ended on December 31 in 1900. The original reason for Christmas was to celebrate Jesus Christ’s birthday on December 25, a tradition established by Pope Julius I, combining religious observances with influences from winter solstice festivals such as Yule and Saturnalia. As for Hanukkah, it is a holiday for the Jewish people, the word Hanukkah means dedication due to purifying the Temple after the Jewish resistance against the Greek occuptation by Seleucid Empire after they outlawed the Jewish practices and defiled their Temple in 168 B.C.E. Hanukkah holiday also marks Jewish resists having their culture destroyed, and the fight…

MultiTopic 10-10-2025

So, here we are with a new multitopic article. If you haven’t read the first one, which explains what a multitopic article is, it’s essentially a condensed version covering multiple topics in one article. There were different names for this kind of article before, such as tidbits, which I didn’t feel was the right name, so I changed it to snippets. I still didn’t feel right with that name. I have had a few followers who suggested a better name for it. Hence, I had to think again for a name that would be easily recognizable for the readers to know what kind of article is going to be, so I thought of multiple topics then combined them to a multitopic, which is a pretty much self-explained title, I believe, so I am satisfied with that name for the articles that have more than one topic. It seems that it is acceptable to my followers, so that is important. Anyway, as always, here is a list of the topics that for this multitopic article, and if you are too busy to read the entire article you can always select which topic to read instead of having to go through the whole article trying to find the topic that you might be interested in reading or if you want to read…

Happy New Year of 2018!

It is unbelievable how quick last year was, I felt that it was one of the quickest year ever and that is in both good and bad way that the year of 2017 flew by us. I am sure that one of the good one is that it means the election is coming quicker than we expected so that we can vote for the people who we truly believe that would represent us instead of for the corporation and others especially to listen to what we want instead of what they want. Such as where most of us Americans begged the Federal Communications Commission to not repeal Net Neutrality because it is a policy that prevent the internet providers service to play monopoly with us by hiking the costs with no reason or to charge us just so that we could have access to something they blocked or slowed by throttling. One of the bad thing, I am certain that this is something every one of us can agree, our age made a leap to a year later too quick and all of us including myself who would love to stay at the current age and not becoming a year older already. There are many more to the list I could mention but I am not going to get into…

Merry Christmas 2017!

Hey you all! This is Joshie writing here, there is nothing more than me wanting to tell you a very Merry Christmas and so Merry Christmas to you all! ‘Tis the season that every one of us cherish with our family and friends which is the most important thing about Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Christmas isn’t the only thing that we celebrate with our family and friends, we also celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! Nothing is more fun than the Christmas tradition that we carry through many generations of ours, opening Christmas presents and have vast amounts of foods for us to pick to put on our plates until our stomach cannot take them anymore! I can remember how excited I would get when the Christmas day arrives at age of a child, looking forward to celebrating Christmas with the family and open the presents besides the Christmas tree that we decorated while being surrounded my family. It was one of these moments that I treasure more than ever, as every Christmas I would visit my grandmother’s house on my mother’s side and seeing the grounds that was nothing but tons of snow. Spending several hours from early afternoon until it was dark out, spending my time with my grandparents, my mother, my aunt and my uncles with…

2-12-2017 Tidbits

I know I haven’t written a blog post for several days, more than a week now since the last blog post that I wrote were February 4th and I apologize for that. I just couldn’t find the time to write a blog post past several days, it has been time-consuming for me lately with other projects that I am working on and it is overwhelming to the point that I rarely find any time to sleep because the later I get the shorter sleep I will get. I barely find the time to keep up with the news that is going on around here in the United States and in other countries so that means I hardly had the chance to come up with some of the topics to share my opinions or my thoughts on news this past week. After the summer last year, my schedules became so messy to the point where I barely know what tasks I think I can complete and what tasks I must dismiss to complete some of other tasks especially the ones I consider more important than others. I believe that one or two blog posts earlier I have stated that I would try to write more blog posts than I have been since the summer last year, it is obvious that I…

Merry Christmas 2016

Hey guys and women! I would like to wish every one of you Merry Christmas and I hope that all of you have a great Christmas today. unwrap the presents, exchanging communication, sharing stories and eating at dinner table on Christmas day with your family is the most precious thing. I used to have that, I wish I could have that again but unfortunately I cannot as the major of the family that I was close to have passed away so this leaves me and my mother. That is what it is, so if you still have a circle of family then be with them and spend as much as you can when you have them because I unexpectedly lost them to way soon. However, mine and my mother’s Christmas is great, we had few of our presents and will be having Christmas dinner either tonight or in late evening. I hope that all of you have fun with the presents that you have from your family, enjoy the time with your family or friends and eat some delicious foods! Let us not hate, argue about politics stuff, disagree with each others and let us be joyful and share the love we can with others! Merry Christmas of 2016! P.S. I may or may not will be able to blog…

Vacation in Tennessee and Rod Run

As some of you know that we decided to take a vacation in Tennessee as I wrote a post a few days ago under the title “Just Got Back and Blogging” where I said that I have just got back home from Tennessee after spending three nights there and that I would be put blogging aside because while I was in Tennessee on vacation, I decided to record a video of the most times that I have been there so that all of you guys could feel as if you were there with me as well. Where I records a lot of videos down there in Tennessee, ranging from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg and I recorded a lot of videos. Several hours of many videos, of course that means that they need to be edited because you would need to edit several videos to make one video and at the same time trying to trim off some unnecessary parts in these videos because it would be pointless to show some parts where it was just laying on a table facing a wall. When you record several videos, several hours of videos then you would need to try to figure which parts is necessary and which parts is not necessary so to trim off the hours for a video because no…
