Thought?:

Norton 360 is a security software/application made and owns by a very well-known company for decades named formerly Symantec, which was renamed to NortonLifeLock after they acquired LifeLock service that is well-known for identity theft monitoring company. So LifeLock was merged into with Symantec with a new name calls NortonLifeLock.

I have been a customer of theirs for several years, especially since the early 2000s, when I brought an anti-virus and firewall software for my old Windows ME to Windows XP. So, that is almost two decades ago, I have watched their company, and their security software grew over time with many new changes along with many further improvements that they have brought to their security software. Ever since I have been using their security software known as Norton Anti-Virus back then, they protected many of my computers and my laptops significantly then. They changed the name of the software to Norton 360 with different editions after a couple of decades. From Norton’s basic anti-virus software back in the 2000s to today’s Norton 360 Premium is unbelievably the best security software that I have come across as I have tried much other security software such as McAfee, AEG, Kaspersky and Bitdefender.

I do have experience in IT, especially for computers, as I have worked, restored, rebuilt, built, modified, programmed, reprogrammed, working with many servers such as Apache or Windows server and whatnot. Hence, I know my around with computers. With that being said, I think that no security software truly protects a computer, whether it be a desktop tower or a laptop better than NortonLifeLock’s own Norton 360. They passed the A/V test, they are a true-tested security software that has been around for more than two decades, and they do it best in comparison to their competitors. Norton 360 is always continually being updated to make sure that the old to the latest viruses, trojans, malware, and whatnot cannot ever penetrate through their security to our computers. The Norton 360 interface is so simple and easy that a toddler can do it. Their interface is simple enough that all you need to do is press “scans” and then select the depth scan you prefer, such as quick, full, or custom, then they will start scanning right away. The other button is, LiveUpdate which is where you would press, and it will download any new updates to make sure that your security software to have the latest security database so that they can recognize the newest or the oldest threat to stop it before they make their way to your computer.

Then the other button is History, that pretty much says it all. It’s where you will get to see the history list of the threats that Norton 360 has detected and expunged (removed). The other button is SafeCam, which is their newest feature to the security software that I believe is useful, especially for anyone who is overprotective of their privacy. SafeCam is the tool that you can use to notify you every time that a website, software, and anything else that tries to access your web camera so that you have the option to accept or deny their access. This is great for anyone who has a webcam connected to their computer or laptop and makes sure that no one is watching you as you would be in total control of who or what has access to your webcam. The last button is Advanced, which is where you can do some settings, enabling e-mail protection, browser protection, download intelligence, smart firewall, intrusion prevention, SONAR protection, and auto-protect. Norton 360 is an all-in-one security software that you can trust to protect your computer all around.

In this Norton 360 Premium, it comes with useful additional features such as VPN (Virtual Private Network) that can shield your IP location to fool the websites or others into thinking that you are somewhere in Italy while you are sitting in your underwear in your basement at your home somewhere in Michigan. VPN is also great to help you to access the websites, contents such as videos or photos, and others that your country banned/blocked for viewing – an example, Facebook in China so VPN can be especially useful for world travelers so that they can access to anything that they had access at home but is banned in the country they are visiting. You can use any of these features, including the software up to 10 devices, which are plenty. Also, it comes with dark-web monitoring powered by LifeLock, where it can keep track of your information online to make sure that there is no website, search engines, or whatnot have your private information such as credit card information, social security information, your e-mail address and a few more. They have a PC Cloud Backup where you can securely back up your device to cloud instead of having to deal with backing up to an external hard drive (flash drive, memory card, etc.). You would be able to access them anywhere that has an internet connection, but the storage is limited as they only offer 75GB. I don’t use them, but they are one of the other features that come with Norton 360 Premium if you need it.

Like I said in the beginning, I think that Norton 360 Premium is the best security software out of all, and I have tried many of them, which never could come close to being better than Norton 360 Premium. What is even more, they are an excellent deal for leading security software that packs a lot of features and can use up to 10 devices. If ten devices are too many, you can always go for their Deluxe one, which is five devices, but for me, ten devices is a must because I use Norton for computers, laptops, tablets, and my phones. It’s only 48 dollars for the premium one, which I have provided the link below that you can go to and order the premium edition for that price or click here if you want Deluxe edition instead. Deluxe edition has almost everything that Premium edition offers, although Premium offers 75GB cloud while Deluxe offers 50GB cloud, and Premium offers ten devices while Deluxe offers five devices. I highly recommend Norton 360 Premium all-in-one security software if you are shopping for security software that can protect your computer and that it comes with packed features.

I am rating this 4.4, which translates near very great (just a .1 before very great). If I must complain, it’s the unreasonable cloud storage space because 75GB is too small, and I doubt that anyone in this era can fit anything under that much of small space anymore.
