Thought?:

I honestly think that this 5th installment of Jurassic franchise films is great, not as great as the first one and maybe not the second one obviously but definitely better than the 3rd or 4th Jurassic films. The cinematic of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was beautifully done, there are some scenes that do get you on the edge of the seat which the first Jurassic movie is well known for as they often would get you on the edge of the seat wondering what would happen next and I think that the storyline for this Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is good although I can say that there could be some improvements in some area especially with the scripting or change the story a bit to be more exciting but it is few missed opportunities that they didn’t use. Since the first and maybe second installment of Jurassic movies ends with a bang but then with third and fourth, it wasn’t that great although they were a-okay in this fifth movie of Jurassic had a beautiful ending that actually would get you excited about the future for Jurassic franchise movies unlike the third or fourth.

I must admit that from the beginning and in ending of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is actually great but in the middle of the movie especially with Benjamin Lockwood I think that there were a few missed opportunities that the director could do some improvements in some areas but again like I said they have missed opportunities obviously since Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has already been made but I do wish that they could do a little bit better in that area with Benjamin Lockwood. Then with Maisie Lockwood (little girl) feels like a few skipped storylines that they could add or use the opportunity to expand where and who exactly is Maisie Lockwood. Because with Maisie Lockwood part in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom felt like a rush, almost too hurry because when I discovered about Maisie’s part in the movie and then next thing I know is she discovered the truth about what they were doing with the dinosaurs to the scene where she was protected by Owen then Blue jumped in to save them then all of them standing on the stairs of Lockwood’s home. It’s like, okay but who is Maisie (for some who doesn’t watch all of the Jurassic films) and why was she a part of this film? It’s like skip, skip then here is Maisie and then end it off with Maisie standing on the stairs with Owen and Claire being cryptic as if she has dinosaur DNA in her or something because they made some effect zooming out of her eyes.

So, they should’ve expanded a bit in Maisie’s part and make a few improvements in some areas but nonetheless Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is good movie which I would probably watch again in a few months after watching it the first time. The only most thing that I can remember is Blue remembered who he was, remembered Owen and Claire as he defended them after fighting an enemy that they grew in the lab of Lockwood’s house so it’s heartwarming. Also, another thing that I remember is that I cannot wait for another Jurassic movie because, in my opinion, I think they did great with the ending because for the first time that they have shown that dinosaurs are finally in our lands instead of their own Jurassic island so I am already hyped up for the next Jurassic movie which the third and fourth Jurassic films failed to hype me up for another Jurassic so they did a good job with this one with their ending.

I am rating the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 3.5, I would probably rate it 3.7-3.9 if Maisie’s story have expanded a bit and a few improvements have made but still 3.5 rating is good considering that is 3 stars and a half so that is a good compliment. I definitely would recommend Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom to any of you who need a movie to watch on a weekend night, either with family or alone. I am looking forward to how dinosaurs especially Blue to survive in a country among millions of people instead of their own island with almost no human beings there and I am definitely curious how people will treat them as or behave around them. The next Jurassic installment, 6th one will be called Jurassic World: Dominion and it is dated to come out on June 11, 2021, next year so be sure to mark that to your calendar!
