Yeti 16 oz. Colster Can Insulator

I am a big fan of Yeti; I have several products made by Yeti, especially many of their drinkware products such as 12 oz. colster can insulator, this 16 oz. colster can insulator, 20 oz. tumbler, 30 oz. tumbler, lowball, a rambler mug, and whatnot. Hence, I am a fan of them, although I don’t own a Yeti cooler, which is something that I am hoping to own at least two of them someday when I can finally afford them. If you wonder what two Yeti coolers that I would like to own are, that would be their Hopper Backflip 24 soft and their Daytrip Lunchbox both in charcoal color.

The latest Yeti’s product that I have purchased is this black Yeti’s 16 oz. colster can insulator, and this is what I am reviewing on. I already own other Yeti colster can insulator, the 12 oz. one and that 12 oz. colster can insulator one I own is their original one because they have redesigned all of colster can insulators calling it 2.0 colster can insulators. This 16 oz colster can insulator is the 2.0 one as I had just brought it last week. Because of that, I have decided to go ahead to order the 2.0 12 oz. colster can insulator one too in copper color, which that one should come by today, so I am looking forward to that.

Yeti’s 16 oz. colster can insulator 2.0 is very impressive for me, especially in comparison to many other can insulators, including Yeti’s original ones. Most of the other brands can last a good couple hours to three in a cold temperature room, maybe one hour outside in the scorching sun or anywhere that is very warm. This was the biggest complaint that I have about can insulators because I am one of the others who would waste our drinks by not finishing them due to being warm too soon, so I can only drink them is if they are cold. Because of that, I have gone through several brands, only one that could outperform all is the Yeti, and that is based on their Yeti’s original 12 oz. colster can insulator so you can imagine my impression of the 2.0 because the 2.0 outperform it’s own best can insulator (original)! The Yeti’s original colster can insulator outperforms other brands by keeping my drinks cold for a good 6-8 hours in a cool temperature room or about 3 to 5 hours under the scorching sun which is about three times better than all of the other brands. The new one, Yeti’s colster can insulator 2.0 does it even better by keeping the drink cold steadily for 8-12 hours and about 5-8 hours under the scorching sun.

The bottom line is, Yeti’s colster can insulators not only outperform all if not many other brands and hold the temperature of a drink that you grabbed from your fridge longer than other brands. The only thing that I dislike about Yeti 2.0 16 oz. colster can insulators is that it is somewhat heavy, but it is something that sacrifices to make sure that the drinks are kept cool for an extended time. Yeti’s original ones were boxier and feel bulky, but it does the job. In comparison, the Yeti’s 2.0 ones are sleeker and less bulky along with their seal is sleeker than their flat sides (boxy/square) one for Yeti’s original colster can insulators. Since they have drastically improved their colster can insulators, after seeing the 16 oz. colster can insulator that I brought last week had me rushing over and ordered the 12 oz. one. If I didn’t see any change from their 2.0 with my existing original 12 oz. colster can insulator I wouldn’t have ordered their 2.0 12 oz. colster can insulator on a day after that my 2.0 16 oz. colster can insulator arrived (it has come! You will see 12 oz. colster can insulator copper in pictures below).

If you are looking for a can insulator (or some call it can coozie), that can keep your drink cold for a long. At the same time, then I recommend that you should not look past Yeti because their products are considered the most premium and top-line of many other brands, which I can vouch that since I own many of their products by now.

With that all said, I am rating the Yeti 16 oz Colster Can Insulator 4.3, which translates above great and is closer to being very great. Again, I highly recommend Yeti 16 oz. Colster Can Insulator or other sizes, which they have three – 12 oz., 12 oz. slim, and 16 oz. tall.
