I know it has been a long time since I wrote a snippets article; a few things prevent me from finding the time to write an article or even a review for anything. In the summer is when I usually barely find any time to write anything, but as the fall season approach and then the winter is when I find the time to write more often, which is why if you take a good look at all of my articles or reviews written on here you would see that I write more often from fall to spring then slow down a lot in the summer. During the summer, there are always conflicts in my schedules for anything, not just my media company/blog but also other works such as photography since I own a photography business and my time for anything such as spending time with family or friends. I always struggle with trying to find any time that has no conflict with others in the summer. Still, from fall to spring, especially in the winter, it becomes easier on me, so this year should not be any different than many years in a row, so I should be back writing more articles or reviews as the fall approach or more so when the winter is nearing. There are a few of trending in the Deaf community, one of them is about a problem that is going on around in the Deaf community about American Sign Language interpreters with conflict of interests, and by American Sign Language interpreters conflict of interests, I mean the American Sign Language interpreters who are already biased due to conflict of interests but went ahead to accept the interpreting job. Biased American Sign Language interpreters are often in violation of the code of ethics, especially through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). If you visit the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) code of ethics page, before getting to the full versions of their code of ethics, you would see one of their tenets number three (3) it says that interpreters conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to the specific interpreter situation and also under seven (7) it says interpreters engage in professional development. But further, it would be 3.7, which it says disclose to parties involved any actual or perceived conflicts of interest. Suppose that American Sign Language interpreter happens to have a conflict of interests. In that case, these are examples of codes of ethics that they violate. I want to write a short personal letter on here because today is an extraordinary celebration for someone that is so dear to me and that is none other than my own mother, Brenda Sullivan! Today is her 58th birthday; I mean 30th birthday. Wait that doesn’t sound right because that would make her 3 years younger than me, and if that were the case, I wouldn’t be writing this letter. Ok, let’s say 35th, and I am just 2 years old toddler writing this. There is nothing that my mother doesn’t deserve; she deserves everything and more that I could ever possibly give her or anyone could. My mother is my world, my rock, my best friend, and my everything. Yes, I am a mom’s boy, and I am darned proud of that to say that!
