A former principal of Belfry High School, especially during my time as a student, as well before and after is running for a 93rd district seat in the commonwealth of Kentucky’s house. Maybe by now that many of you may guess who I am referring to, but if you haven’t figured out then I will go ahead and say who is running for the seat in the house of Ky 93rd district which is for both Pike and Martin counties – Rod Varney! He has filed not too long ago with the commonwealth of Kentucky to say that he is running for the house of Kentucky to be a representative for Pike County and Martin County as a Democrat. The current representative is Chris Harris, as we know that Chris Harris has decided to not seek another term because he has decided to run for a higher position which is a seat in the supreme court of Kentucky so that means the seat is up for a grab. So, the Thanksgiving passed us by, Christmas passed us by as well and now the New Year just passed us by. A lot of holidays in a very short period of time, not only that my mother’s birthday is just a few days after Christmas so it means a lot more presents for her and anyone who has a birthday close to Christmas I bet that they like that they were born so close to the Christmas! I was born in winter but not too soon after Christmas though, as my birthday is three months apart from Christmas so I was pretty much born in late winter as my birthday is in March and that isn’t all because I didn’t mention Valentine’s day! This is just a very small post for you all to read because this is more on a personal level than I normally write. For many years, I have been looking for pictures of myself when I was young, especially my accomplishments and whatnot. I do know that I was the first student to demonstrate a new computer with disc compact (CD) for Pike County schools in Kentucky; that is the newspaper that I am still in search of, but I have found an old VHS which I am working on figuring out how to transfer the VHS digitally. If so, I will show it around here or on social media. While we were going through old things such as pictures, VHS tapes, and whatnot, I finally found some newspapers with me in them. It is that time of the year again, as we are at the beginning of September in the year 2019 and it is the month of International Deaf Awareness Month! Every year in September is a celebration for the deaf and hard of hearing community but at the same time, we also use that opportunity or a platform to raise awareness to the public so as to educate the public about the community. Educating the public about many things that are valued in the Deaf community, such as its culture and as well each sign language. I have been thinking about what I have been missing from JoshiesWorld, I know I have made a few reviews on here but mostly on other websites such as Google, Facebook or IMDb and whatnot. When I make a review on here, it is usually a simple article sharing my thought of a product, film, television show, a website, a business or whatever that I would want to make a review on. The other day I was looking through all reviews I have made, I came to realizing that I need some sort of system that would do a review better than just an article with my thought, besides a few days ago I received an e-mail from a new business that has created a product and they sent me some details wondering if I would take in their new product for a review. That is where I told myself that I have to do something because I declined to receive a free product from a company in exchange for my review and the reason I declined was that I felt that if I want to give a real review that I would need something first.
