Christmas 2020 Snippets

Christmas 2020 Snippets List Here’s the topics list for you to see what topics are in this snippets article. Click/press the “Show Topics List,” and that will expand the entire topics list for you to take a look. If you prefer to only look at these interesting topics instead of reading the whole article, click/press any topic you would like to read, but I encourage you to read the entire article. Merry Christmas! I hope that all of you enjoy Christmas this year while keeping yourselves safe from being exposed to COVID-19! I know that it is not going to be the Christmas that we always looked forward to every year where we get to spend some time with family members or friends and celebrate Christmas with Christmas dinner. This Christmas in the year 2020 is different, but here is something that we have to remember: by forcing ourselves to stay home and not allowing anyone to visit or allow us to visit others so that all of us get to continue to live to see each other again later. Because if we ignore our responsibility, be selfish, risk others, and be exposed to COVID-19, which can end our lives, we would not be able to celebrate future Christmas with them again. So, we got to remember that staying home…

Black History Month 2019

As you all know, my skin is white so obviously I am white and I do acknowledge that I have that privilege whether I want it or not as it’s a given based on my ethnicity so the only as far I can do is to say that I do also recognize that the United States and many of other countries have a huge problem with racism even to this day. The black people suffers oppression everyday by the very same color that I have on my skin which is something that I am very ashamed of, even though I do everything I can do to support black people through activism and to pass their voices on around in hope that I can or at least hope that we can bring more awareness of what is going on in this world on racism issues. I have thought over and over about if I should or should not write a blog post about the black history month because it never will be my place to do so as I am white but at the same time I feel that I would also be bothered not to do so as I want to echo that for the ones who oppress black people are the lowest of the low in the eyes of…

No long time I have written an article for the blog! I know that many of you have taken a notice that I am no longer active in blogosphere, you have noticed that correct and I have some reasons behind why I haven’t written an article for a blog in a long time. I believe last time I wrote an article for the blog on the first week of February, but it was really more of an open letter to a person or a company, in that case it was for a company and it was written to Google about their new policy on YouTube which is owned by Google about their requirements for YouTube users. Here is a link to the open letter for you to read if you would like to or you can easily find it by going to the front page of this blog and look for the title called “Google, Reconsider YouTube Requirements”. Long story short, Google decided to change their policy for YouTube users with new requirements or criteria to be eligible to monetize their videos on their YouTube channel(s). Because of that new policy, anyone who was able to monetize their videos before the new requirements went into effective on February 20 have lost the ability to monetize their videos and only way…

No long time see you since I last wrote an article, on fourth (4th) of this month November! But I am back to write another article, snippets article once again and I have a couple of topics that I would like to share my thoughts on. Before I go ahead with this article, I must ask how all of you are and how was your Thanksgiving yesterday?! Did you have a great feast?! Thanksgiving holiday always give us people a good excuse to stuff our stomach with a lot of foods because usually on Thanksgiving we get to have all kinds of foods that we only see once a year especially in numbers of foods that is being served and a great excuse for some people to take a power nap because turkey always makes us sleepy after stuffing our faces with it. Thanksgiving is not only an excuse for a feast but also a good excuse for family and friend’s gatherings especially in numbers as well – we had over 14 people under our roof yesterday for Thanksgiving which broke the record of how many people we had for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, they weren’t mine and my mother’s family as they were Chad’s family; Chad is my mother’s boyfriend for close to twenty years. Mine and my mother’s family are…

Hey you all! I know I haven’t blogged anything in a very long time, the last time I blogged was last month on 28th in September about the people takes a knee in sports along with my opinion on it and you can find it here. I noticed that I am not as motivated to blog this year and last year as well since in the end of last year was when I reduced my activity in blogging due to a few reasons. One of these reasons was that I am aging, and my body isn’t what it was used to be so it’s a bit hard on me especially with disabilities I have. The combination of severe disabilities and the aging isn’t a good thing, it is painful. I know, it’s life and all that but with disabilities or illness while aging is not fun. While I am not blogging, most of the times I am usually either watching tons of television shows on streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO and Starz so at least I am entertained. Mentally, I am doing good though and physically is what limits me in my activities now. Every time I tried to write an article, I would be already exhausted and so would be my body which can be…

Take A Knee During the National Anthem in Sports

Lately we have seen a lot of the players in sports, especially the National Football League (NFL) and National Basketball Association decided to take a knee or locking arms with others. They were shown on television and as well in the media, there are two divided groups who support the decision of the players to take a knee or to lock arms and who are against the decision of the players taking a knee or lock arms with others. Players, coaches and even owners would decide either to take a knee or to lock arms with others while the National Anthem plays or sings by certain singers which they traditionally do so before the game starts. From the beginning, it was Colin Kaepernick as a quarterback at San Francisco 49ers last year where he decided to sit on the bench during the National Anthem in protest, as the media immediately noticed that and the next game Colin Kaepernick decided to take a knee instead of sitting on the bench like he did in the beginning but this time a few of his teammates joined the protest by taking a knee with Colin Kaepernick. This was last year, that protest were criticized heavily by some of the people and since then Colin Kaepernick have taken a knee during the National Anthem…

I know I haven’t written a blog post for several days, more than a week now since the last blog post that I wrote were February 4th and I apologize for that. I just couldn’t find the time to write a blog post past several days, it has been time-consuming for me lately with other projects that I am working on and it is overwhelming to the point that I rarely find any time to sleep because the later I get the shorter sleep I will get. I barely find the time to keep up with the news that is going on around here in the United States and in other countries so that means I hardly had the chance to come up with some of the topics to share my opinions or my thoughts on news this past week. After the summer last year, my schedules became so messy to the point where I barely know what tasks I think I can complete and what tasks I must dismiss to complete some of other tasks especially the ones I consider more important than others. I believe that one or two blog posts earlier I have stated that I would try to write more blog posts than I have been since the summer last year, it is obvious that I…
