I am hoping that the day is going well so far for you all, as that we are now in the spring season and that is my least favorite season of all the seasons for one or a couple of reasons. For past a month or a couple of months I have been trying to find or think of something to write about but I couldn’t come up with something or it is that I have been very busy lately. Well, it is more than I have been busy lately because ever since the beginning of last month March I have started doing something that I never have did and that is doing something that I have always wanted to but never did so because of a few reasons which I will be sharing in one of my snippets below but before I get into it I want to let all of you know this that I am grateful for your patience and support that you have given to JoshiesWorld or me. It means a lot to me, really and please continue doing so because you all are my motivation otherwise I really wouldn’t have a reason to continue or try to continue especially after doing something as this drastic that I did for the past month.
4-26-2019 Snippets
Alright, here we are with a new snippets article which is something that I have been looking forward to doing and I like writing snippets rather than an article for one thing because it helps me to share more than just one thing and let the rest of others buried. Often I would have a few of things that I would like to write about, if I was to pick one of them and tell myself to keep the rest of others for another article then I would procrastinate myself which isn’t a good thing. If I go ahead and just write all or most of the things that I have on a list then it would keep me in the momentum as if I was to write one topic for an article then the next topic for another article I’d lose the momentum real quick so that is why I like doing snippets. Not just that, also it would give you all something more to read and something more to think about or to talk about!
Here we are, I will start off the snippets so you might want to get yourself a cup of coffee and whatever else that you would like to have nearby while reading this snippets because sometimes snippets can be pretty long as some of the topics for the snippets article are written down on the list but also I sometimes would come up with a few more new topics on the fly which that is what would make it a bit more longer than I have expected. So be warned that this article may end up to be a very long time, if it ends up to be a long one then you can always bookmark this article and come back reading the rest or only read a few of topics that might interest you instead of reading the entire article.
What A Week For My Dogs!
Last week our oldest dog named Cassie got sick, couldn’t stop throwing up and started peeing blood so we got very concerned because this was Sunday I believe. There is no vet or animals hospital around here that do emergency, the closest one is about two hours drive away from here to Charleston in Huntington, Wv and I am certain that it wouldn’t be good on Cassie because it’d be a very uncomfortable ride for her as Cassie doesn’t like riding in a vehicle especially for a long time so we keep her under all of our eyes until Monday morning when the local vet opens then we had taken her to get her checked out but thankfully they said that it was because she was a bit high with her blood – something to do with her being in heat a while back. She is around 16 years old but they did an x-ray on her, did a blood test on her and everything they said that there is nothing wrong with her besides that her blood was a bit high but that she would live a very long old age so we are relieved by that news. Cassie got better within’ a day or two days later, now she is walking around trying to find spots to hide her food bones as always, talking back at us every time we try to talk to her, and she is doing good now. Then just a few days later, to this day one of our other dog named Miss Damien got severely ill as she started puking non-stop all night and started puking blood which was not good. At first we thought that it’d be a stomach virus or something like what Cassie went through the other night but this morning Miss Damien has gotten worse and didn’t show any sign of slowing down so we realize that this is more serious that Miss Damien must see a vet immediately so my mother took her to the vet this morning. Bless my mother’s heart, she hasn’t been to bed yet as she has been taking care of Miss Damien and cleaning after Miss Damien all night then she drives a half hour to take Miss Damien to the vet because we like the vet over in Pikeville, Ky a bit better than we do the one in Williamson, Wv which was the one that we took Cassie to because the one in Pikeville, Ky was full and wouldn’t take Cassie in so we had any choice but to take Cassie to the one in Williamson, Wv but they did great with Cassie so we are happy about that. But this time, with Miss Damien the vet in Pikeville, Ky was willing to take her in so my mother took her there right away because of the severity it is with Miss Damien is high. After a few hours this morning, my mother texted me telling me that she is on her way back home and I was wondering how Miss Damien is. My mother told me that Miss Damien is in the hospital, it pains me and scares me to no end that my mother told me that Miss Damien has pancreas saying that the vet told my mother that if my mother had brought in Miss Damien any later that it would have been fatal because at the time that Miss Damien and my mother was at the vet Miss Damien started puking everywhere and started bleeding everywhere so the vet immediately took her in. Now they put her on IV with antibiotic, saying that we were so lucky that we had brought her in instead of waiting for a bit more longer because otherwise, it would be fatal and now the vet has admitted Miss Damien to the hospital to stay but didn’t say how long that Miss Damien will be staying there though. Said that she is on IV, taking antibiotic, is dehydrated and is resting so I am praying that Miss Damien will get through so that she can come home to recover and then she can start stealing foods from everybody else or compete with Cassie to get the first bone. Miss Damien is a middle child of ours, we have 6 dogs and we lost a year and a half ago which was hard on me. We have Cassie (oldest), Wiggles (brother of Oreo) (2nd oldest), Miss Damien (middle child), Baby, Junior (both are children of Miss Damien) and Shaggy.
Right now, we are waiting patiently for a call from the vet to let us know or tell us that Miss Damien is getting better and that she would be ready to come home today or within’ a few days. These dogs are our babies, they are our joy and pride. I know I am being corny here, but they are my babies period. Keep Miss Damien in thought so that she can get better and so that she can come home better! But this week has been crazy and hard at the same time for all of us. Cassie is better now or almost all the better, the latest news we have on Miss Damien at this moment is that she has pancreatic, hooked on IV and is on an antibiotic, Wiggles is great but is a sleepyhead lately, Baby, Junior, and Shaggy is still wild. I am praying that everyone will be good soon and so that we can have a break of being scared or worrying.
Updated: It was Miss Damien’s pancreas, her blood test showed that her blood was elevated but everything is good now. Both dogs are doing well, as well the rest of my other dogs which I am very thankful for because it was very scary times for me!

Winter Is Coming And Is Ending – Game of Thrones
Today on April 14th is the day that a new season premiere for a television show that majority of Americans are crazy about, Game of Thrones and at the same time it is unfortunate for the Game of Thrones fans because the new season is the 8th season and it is the very final season for the television show Game of Thrones. Even sadder is that it is only going to air six episodes instead of ten episodes for each season, about close to an hour for each episode but however the producer David Friedman says that some of these six episodes will be a bit longer than the usual, the third episode on April 28 will go for an hour and twenty-two minutes (1hr 22mins). I am a huge fan of the HBO’s show Game of Thrones so I am quite sad that the television show is ending for good, I wish that they could keep it going for a several more seasons but in the Hollywood entertainment they say that nothing can go on forever so in someway it was expected because eventually it was going to have ended and that is something that we as fans aren’t a fan of. I am hoping that there will be somehow a spin-off from Game of Thrones because Game of Thrones is such successful television series, as it hits all the notes of what our attention desires for and it wouldn’t make any sense if no one is considering a spin-off of Game of Thrones or another television show that is similar to the concept or story from Game of Thrones. As today on April 14, they are releasing the first episode for the new and final season (8th) so it’s going to be interesting to see how they will end. Game of Thrones Isn’t The Only One Ending
Another unfortunate for the television show lover, another great television shows are coming to an end is The Supernatural when both Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Jared Padalecki (Sam) recently made an announcement vlog saying that they are wrapping up The Supernatural for good and that next season (15th) will be the final season for The Supernatural. They have just released the newest season, the 14th season with a lot of episodes for us to watch and then they will go for another season which is the 15th season in the fall which will be The Supernatural’s final season. A few years ago the productions of The Supernatural has said that they would keep on renewing as many as the season as long as both Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Jared Padalecki (Sam) wish to go on but now both actors are calling the 15th season for The Supernatural a final. They wouldn’t have to cancel the show as it has plenty of rating that it could keep going on as long as they’d like if they wish to do so but it was up to Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki to do so as the production said so at least we have one more season to look forward to in the fall then that will be the last season for us The Supernatural fans unless they out of blue deciding to change their mind.
Kentucky Passed A Bill To Ban Tobacco On School’s Campus/Property
Kentucky has passed a bill named HB 11, it is a bill for the law to ban anyone from smoking and chewing smokeless tobacco too, I believe from public school’s property. The bill has passed and has been signed by Ky’s governor so no one is allowed to smoke or chew tobacco on the school’s property which I have a mixed feeling about it. Of course, it is because I am a smoker but at the same time I do agree that it should be restricted to some extent but not fully banning the tobacco use though. During teaching schedules, I am definitely up for that but what I am not is after school such as activities like football game and whatnot for adults only. I have tweeted that I do somewhat agree with the bill to an extent but I also think that there should be a restricted area for smokers so that the teachers can relieve of their stress during their lunch break and a restricted area for smokers at the property where the smokers can go to smoke that is especially far away from the area where the children are at such as the stadium or whatnot. Maybe allowing someone to smoke inside their vehicle? Create a spot that is designed for smokers to go and smoke that is out of the students/children’s reach? The perfect examples I can think of would be the hospitals because the hospitals have their own designed spot where the smokers can only go to and smoke but anywhere outside that spot is not allowed to use tobacco so I think that should be the same thing for any school’s properties. Just my opinion, for the sake of children I am definitely up for it and I definitely tip my hat off to the Congress for passing that bill in hope that it would be less influence on the children from becoming second-smokers but just a tiny problem is that some of these student’s parents may be smokers so it would almost be pointless.
Taking Care Of Your Beard
I am noticing that there are a lot of men who have a beard isn’t aware that there is actually a beard care kit for the men to take care of their beautiful beard, if any men tell me that they use the hair shampoo and that it is the same thing or make no difference then I am going to slap them for them saying that because the hair care kit and the beard care kit is a bit different. Not many men realize that there are more organics and healthier indigents in the beard care kit than the hair care kit have. Jobo butter, for instance, shea butter as well and many more and even some have salt in them. I have been washing my beard for years with hair shampoo until I discovered that there is actually a thing for beard care kit, a kit such as a beard wash, beard conditioner, beard oil, and beard balm. After several years washing my beard with hair shampoo, I will admit that it does help but my hair always stays fizz although it’s clean but I dislike that fizz and when I started using the beard care kit such as beard wash and beard conditioner I along with my family notice that my beard has straightened up a lot while at the same time it becomes more thicker and more softer. Not only that, also shiny and with balm I can make my beard stay in the place instead of letting it fly everywhere but I rarely use the balm because I never liked the feeling of gel or buttery but I use beard oil every now and then which that helps my beard, even more, softer when I feel like it. I have been using Beard Brand for a couple of years, going through almost all of their products with different scents (Old Money is my favorite) until a month ago I saw an commercial where Old Spice advertised their new products for the beard and I thought that it was about the time that they have decided to tap in the beard care market so I decided to buy the beard care kit off Old Spice to try because at that time I was in need of refill but almost every product by Beard Brand was out of stock which was not a surprise to me because they are that good and I cannot go days without having my beard cleaned so I decided to buy Old Spice beard care kit which is beard wash, beard conditioner and the beard oil. They have beard wash, beard conditioner, beard oil, and beard balm but as I said I never really liked the feeling of balm so I excluded the balm from the kit. After I got them, I tried them and I was in awe with them because it brought back some memories of the classic smells from Old Spice that my grandfather used to wear while at the same time I was impressed with the kit because they make my beard very soft so that is a plus. Would I say that Old Spice is better than Beard Brand? No, but I will say that both are equal because of Old Spice’s smell while Beard Brand has a bit more organic indigents in theirs.
But there is an edge that Old Spice has on Beard Brand is that Old Spice is a lot cheaper and offer more for the money than Beard Brand does. Beard Brand only has travel sized bottles for the beard wash, conditioner, oil, a good sized tin of balm and mustache balm in the same size as a lip balm bottle. All beard brand products is about 3 oz, oil is a little bit over 1 oz at a bit over $100 for all beard care kit (complete) while the Old Spice is over 6oz for all and their beard oil is close to 2oz for $50 (complete) so that is half cost difference for more or less. I recommend both, get both and try then you can decide which one you like the best then stick with them which what I did!

Which Presidential Candidate That Got My Support?
I am actually having a hard time deciding between two candidates, well I take that back because Bernie Sanders does have my support but if Joe Biden were to announce his presidential run then I might change my support for Bernie Sanders to Joe Biden because Joe Biden has the know-how on every level there is as a politician as he was a senator and then became vice president for Barack Obama so Joe Biden would be the most qualified to become a president but then Bernie Sanders has been a senator for many years as independent so I am pretty much torn in between both of them but as of right now Joe Biden hasn’t announced his candidacy so for the time being I am behind Bernie Sanders. If Bernie Sanders were to not win the nomination once again for the DNC but Elizabeth Warrant wins the nomination then I would definitely back her because she is my third choice after Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden if he was to run for the presidency.

Contacting A Person On Social Media
Earlier I have been exchanging tweets with another journalist about social media and e-mails. For many years and still to this day I always go for e-mail because I assume that it is their preferred method for communication by default but as another journalist named Mary Patricia Withem has said that the times change with the technology which she is right because the technology evolves so quick that some of us have difficult to keep up with. For the past years, still to this day I always go out to find e-mail address from the people that I need to contact instead of searching for someone’s name on social media such as Facebook to find that person to contact that person via Facebook’s messenger and communicate through it. I know some do that but sometimes I get nervous when I see some people or even myself doing it is because I wasn’t sure if it show them that we are not professional by doing that instead of going out to find their e-mail address or their contact information and I have just found out that apparently that some of the journalists have been doing that way but I continued to use the e-mail because I feel that it would be courtesy of me to do that. I will have to change my mindset with the methods of contacting other people for some questions or whatnot because by now everyone uses social media for everything, including their way of contact and networking but I would like to still be courtesy so I will try to contact people on social media only to ask what is their preferred method for me to contact to conduct some business or questions for my journalism work.

Own Apple TV and You Are Christian?
I got something for you that you may not be aware of, there is app that you can download via app store on Apple TV called DM Video where it will have the American Sign Language (ASL) version of Holy Bible and other playlists such as gospel/Christian music in American Sign Language (ASL). Here’s a video I took, to show what it looks like. All you have to do is go to the app store on Apple TV and then search for “DM Video” which it will bring that app up for you to download it to use the app on your Apple TV. It is not just on Apple TV but also on iOS devices (iPhone, Ipad, and iPod).
New Headphone – Sony WH-1000X M3
I have decided to purchase a new headphone, many technology news and blogs have coined the headphone as a king of all ANC or noise-canceling headphones and as well for having that quality of sounds coming from the headphone. Two days ago on Monday I have decided to purchase the headphone from Amazon, referred through Sony’s store website for $368.88 with two free shipping as I have Amazon Prime and it has arrived today. I have been shopping for Bluetooth and wireless headphone, I have almost decided to go for Apple’s Beats Studio 3 or Solo 3 because of its popularity but luckily I hesitate on it because after doing a long research I have come across that the Beats headphone are not even in the top five list for headphone or hardly in top ten headphones which were a bit surprise for me because they were all young people talk about past these years including myself. I have brought the Beats headphone twice, the original studio one and another studio a couple years after but both got worn out quickly so I stopped buying them so I have not used Beats product except that very old Pill one I still have which my mother uses a lot when she goes out swimming in the back of the house as we have a large swimming pool here. As my beats headphone were worn out, break even with one earpiece then I started buying a different brand which was Sennheiser and I have brought two headphones from them so far which is still a lot better than the Beats because these two headphones from Sennheiser doesn’t break that easily as the Beats headphone did but they were starting to be old or outdated for the new technology. Not just that, all of the headphones were wired and I don’t have any Bluetooth or wireless headphone so it was time for me to get one so I shopped for one and came across Sony WH1000XM3 which is the latest luxury headphone by Sony. As I have mentioned that it costs $369, it is expensive but does it justify that? I would say, yes and no. The headphone itself is definitely worth the price but the feature, especially the app is what brings that down a bit because it is confusing and can be worthy only if you know what you are doing. Would I recommend it? Absolutely yes, absolutely. I am Deaf myself, well I am actually a Hard of Hearing but I don’t label myself that so I can hear very little sound only coming from my right ear and by very little sound I mean I cannot hear voice or anything like that but I can hear music instruments which the Sony WH1000XM3 does a very good job at bringing the instruments sound to the ears so that is what I look for.

Steve Jobs Has Positive HIV
I am sure by now there are a lot of you people already know this but I am just throwing this in here so to bring this to more people that might not have known of this, recently there was a leak of Steve Jobs (former CEO/Founding members of Apple company) medical record that Wikileaks released shown that Steve Jobs has a positive HIV. I will leave medical information below for you to look but when I saw the news that Steve Jobs has positive HIV, I told a friend of mine with a question is what would the positive HIV be the reason of Steve Jobs death? Because Steve Jobs was wealth, his name is known by everybody and all that could get the people in medical professions such as these who do autopsy or whatnot to reveal that the reason of Steve Jobs death is his pancreatic cancer instead of the world know that the cause of his death was actually HIV? With the treatments for HIV makes it very risky for anyone to receive cancer or anything, so that would make everything more clear now that the cause of his death was from HIV instead of pancreatic cancer and now another thing is that most common for the men to get positive HIV is with another man so that makes me wonder if his family were aware of that or not? This would be something to think about and as well something to have a discussion with other people. Note that Steve Jobs death certification or at least many say that the cause of his death was pancreatic cancer but the question is, is it true or covered up? Google’s Dino Game
There is a hidden feature on Google Chrome that many of you may not know, when you lose your internet connection then there would be a small image showing a dinosaur in white and black with the error message underneath it saying that you have lost the internet connection or asking you to check your internet connection. What many of you didn’t know is that when your Google Chrome has lost connection, meaning that you have no connection to the internet whatsoever that there is a hidden feature which is a game and you can start the game which is Google’s Dino game by tapping the space bar button. Here is an example video where I play the Google’s Dino game on Google Chrome after I on purpose disconnecting the internet as I knew that there is a hidden feature on Google Chrome which is the Google’s Dino game.

What’s Next For JoshiesWorld?
I have been working heavily behind the scene, especially on technical aspect by changing things up and trying to make sure that everything is smooth especially making sure that it is able to handle all of the things that I expect from here on JoshiesWorld technically. There are still a few of things that I will have to take care but for the most part, it is all set and smooth sailing from there hopefully but I have a new year resolution that I would take JoshiesWorld to the next level. I have already done so much, completely redesigned the web, hired a professional to do an updated logo, moved every website I run (JoshiesWorld isn’t the only website I run) to a new provider from the old provider that I was with and that was a lot of hassle, to be honest but definitely worth it as the new provider has ten times better resource than the old provider has including more than a triple faster in speed from 5 seconds to 300-500ms which is less than a second. Major search engines demand the websites be in the range of 2 seconds for loading speed and this JoshiesWorld along with other websites I have fallen well under that so that is a plus for both sides of us. As I said, I still have a pretty good amount of things I need to do for JoshiesWorld but there is another thing that I am pretty much thinking about is merchandising. I am seeing so many news/media company does it so I am thinking that JoshiesWorld shouldn’t be any different so I will have to look into that especially that many services only would customize the products in bulk quantity and not a couple or few so that means a lot of money would be going into that if I make the decision to go ahead with that.
Another thing, there is a new project that I am currently working on that has nothing to do with JoshiesWorld so that somewhat takes a lot of my time and my focus but in the end I hope that it will worth it because this new project is something that I have every one of you in my mind rather than what I would like to do for myself or doing what I like so we will see! But nonetheless, if you had asked me how full was my plate was last month I would say it is over the rim and plenty more but now I would say I maybe only have half of the things on my plate that I need to take care of so that is somewhat relief for me but still busy ahead for me. Mostly for JoshiesWorld and some for the new project that I am working on it (at a bit slow pace). I cannot wait until the day that my plate is finally emptied and shiny so that I can relax without many thoughts going on in my mind on how to solve this or what should I do about this.
Now that my plate is starting to clear up a bit, I should have more flexible time to put myself back in work and start writing more articles although don’t expect that I would be publishing several articles every week but should at least be able to publish one or two a week rather than just one every two or three weeks like it has been for a while now. I will have to start writing up, adding up my research, sources, and whatnot in my notebook once again so it should be fun again!
