Hello everyone, how are all of you doing?! I hope that all of you are doing good. I think it is time for another snippets article here on JoshiesWorld. I know it is overdue as the last snippets article was published about a month ago. I have been so busy trying to publish as many reviews as I can because I need to have the reviews going to give the companies the examples of my reviews before they ship their products to me for an honest review on their product. If their products are bad, I will say they are bad and point out what is bad about their products. That goes the same way if their products are good. Nonetheless, I am glad to say that I have a decent number of reviews published to get the ball rolling. Of course, I cannot publish many reviews because I cannot afford every new product that they have coming out. So, the Thanksgiving passed us by, Christmas passed us by as well and now the New Year just passed us by. A lot of holidays in a very short period of time, not only that my mother’s birthday is just a few days after Christmas so it means a lot more presents for her and anyone who has a birthday close to Christmas I bet that they like that they were born so close to the Christmas! I was born in winter but not too soon after Christmas though, as my birthday is three months apart from Christmas so I was pretty much born in late winter as my birthday is in March and that isn’t all because I didn’t mention Valentine’s day! Companies thrive due to that because we always buy their products for somebody and then for ourselves in some cases. It is that time of the year again, as we are at the beginning of September in the year 2019 and it is the month of International Deaf Awareness Month! Every year in September is a celebration for the deaf and hard of hearing community but at the same time, we also use that opportunity or a platform to raise awareness to the public so as to educate the public about the community. Educating the public about many things that are valued in the Deaf community, such as its culture and as well each sign language. As for me here in United States, American Sign Language is not the only sign language because every country have their own country such as British Sign Language (BSL), Mexican Sign Language (LSM), Australia Sign Language (Auslan), French Sign Language (LSF), South African Sign Language (SASL), Korean Sign Language (KSL) and others so you get the idea that most of the countries have their own sign languages including the one here in the United States of America which is American Sign Language but the United States is not the only one county that use American Sign Language since Canada also use American Sign Language as one of their primary sign language along with another one which is Quebec Sign Language (LSQ). As you all know, my skin is white so obviously I am white and I do acknowledge that I have that privilege whether I want it or not as it’s a given based on my ethnicity so the only as far I can do is to say that I do also recognize that the United States and many of other countries have a huge problem with racism even to this day. The black people suffers oppression everyday by the very same color that I have on my skin which is something that I am very ashamed of, even though I do everything I can do to support black people through activism and to pass their voices on around in hope that I can or at least hope that we can bring more awareness of what is going on in this world on racism issues. Joshie is back, blogging again and not only just that but also has redesigned the website! I know I haven’t properly written a blog post in a very long time, for many reasons that I rather keep it private, along with the holidays which usually when the people get busy especially during the Christmas time to shop for the presents and getting ready for the New Year Eve or New Year. For several months I have been struggling to find some free time to blog, not just blog but also to maintain several other websites and try to keep up with a few projects that I have going so it has been a hectic time for me lately, so I barely have any time for anything. Here I am back writing another article, I wasn’t even sure if I was going to write one or not because I am not really in the mood to write one but seeing that I have nothing else to do so I decided that I might as well make a new blog post and get done with it. Happy New Year of 2018!
It is unbelievable how quick last year was, I felt that it was one of the quickest year ever and that is in both good and bad way that the year of 2017 flew by us. I am sure that one of the good one is that it means the election is coming quicker than we expected so that we can vote for the people who we truly believe that would represent us instead of for the corporation and others especially to listen to what we want instead of what they want. Such as where most of us Americans begged the Federal Communications Commission to not repeal Net Neutrality because it is a policy that prevent the internet providers service to play monopoly with us by hiking the costs with no reason or to charge us just so that we could have access to something they blocked or slowed by throttling. One of the bad thing, I am certain that this is something every one of us can agree, our age made a leap to a year later too quick and all of us including myself who would love to stay at the current age and not becoming a year older already.
