The Steakhouse (formerly Thoroughbred Steak House) is owned by a family so therefore when you come to this The Steakhouse you will expect that it’s going to make you feel as if you are in a family’s home which is a great feeling especially to be in a place to eat. If you come here thinking that this steakhouse to be one of the fancier one, sporty or another environment that you would get from the other steakhouses then this does not have it but if you are looking for the like of family-style, causal or some sort steakhouse then this would be the one to come to!

Some of the foods are very delicious, the chef who cooks your foods are very friendly and always would make sure that the foods that they cook meet your expectation. If you dislike the foods then the chef would be more than happy to cook another plate for you to make sure that it is the foods just the way you want them to be. Which this is where a bit of problem comes in because some of the customers never realize that they’re given the options of how way they want their foods done such as well-done or medium done or raw, so please be sure to ask the waitress how you want your foods to be done so that way you get what you come for and to enjoy.

I am very picky when it comes to any kinds of foods, keep that in mind that everyone has different taste but as goes for me I dislike every meat they serve except their hamburger steak which that’s one of my all-time favorite meat. Several people like some of the other meats that they serve, so if you like rib then you’ll like their rib, if you like fish then you’ll like their fish, if you like sirloin steak then you’ll like their sirloin steak which all of these meats that I don’t like but that’s not just because of them as I don’t like them from anywhere else including my own home. So I only speak for their steak hamburger and the rest of their side foods.

Their hamburger steak is very delicious, juicy, cooked to perfection which is well-done for me, the butter on their Texas bread (or toasted sourdough bread) is even out perfectly (not overly, not underdone) and their baked potatoes with melt cheese is amazingly delicious. Their buffets bar (foods bar, or buffet or however you prefer) are always delicious, on the bar their macaroni & cheese is insanely amazing especially that it’s very creamy (just the way I like).

If you’d like to try out my favorite menu, I would recommend a well-done hamburger steak with baked potatoes on the side, melted cheddar on top of the baked potatoes and two Texas (or sourdough) buttered bread.

Also to have some of their foods, you are not required to eat them inside as they offer takeouts with the exception of their foods bar which would have to eat in so if you aren’t in the mood to be going out to eat then simply call their number to make an order for takeout for your family, friends or a group of the party.
