Today there are more than thousands weblogs and if you don’t know what are weblogs then they are fancy word/term for blogs. Right now you are reading an article on weblogs which this is my weblogs but it is fun hobby and it is also a job for some of the people depending on if some of the people like to blog for fun or to make a career out of it and there are good numbers of bloggers that are successful with their weblogs. To name a few of successful weblogs like Mashable, Perez Hilton, TMZ, ProBlogger and many others which all of them blogs on their weblogs for their career that brings in an income for all of them and every successful weblogs founders brings several thousands of dollars daily and can be up to a quarter of million dollars monthly as there are some weblogs founders brings these incomes easily and that isn’t surprising. All of founders has their own methods for how to run their weblogs successful which sometimes they don’t like to show their secrets but sometimes they are willing to show some of the secrets so to help out some beginners who just started their own weblogs that have the dreams to be successful so to bring a big paychecks because let’s face it, who doesn’t like paychecks? Exactly, no one who doesn’t like paychecks and besides these paychecks helps to pay their bills for their servers because successful weblogs who brings in millions of visitors daily must have expensive servers to handle the bandwidth and all the visitors otherwise they would be losing money if there is downtime on their weblogs.
Before you consider to ask me some of the questions like if I am bringing in that much of incomes and are my weblog JoshiesWorld a successful weblog I would like to go ahead and bring that out to the table. I do not bring in a lot of money at the moment because JoshiesWorld isn’t at that level that some of the weblogs are yet because I still have a long way to go until JoshiesWorld can become successful to bring that kind of money, although I do bring decent income from blogging on my weblogs and JoshiesWorld is starting to raise popularity more than ever daily but still a long way to go until I get to that point. Do I think I will ever be a successful blogger? I cannot tell you that because I don’t have the answer for that as I don’t have the skill to see the future. 😛
Weblogs: Importance of blogging.
As I have mentioned that weblogs are the fancy word for blogs which there are thousands of thousands weblogs on the internet today and several new weblogs being created daily. There are different types of weblogs that everybody can choose how or what they want out of their weblogs or start-up their new weblogs, few types of weblogs are personal, professional, business, news and few more. News company like CNN, ABC and many of others are weblogs so when you visit their websites then you are visiting their weblogs, same way with magazines and old-fashioned newspaper that you get at your door every morning are in a way blogs so with the technology the newspaper on the internet are weblogs in some way if that make sense to you. Newspapers are dying due to weblogs because everyone are starting to prefer digital than physical just like several people prefers to read books digitally than to read the physical books.
Anyone can have their weblogs but not everyone realize that there are some of the people who run weblogs as their career, many of the people including myself have a passion for our weblogs and we turn that into career. Professional weblogs are different from regular weblogs because like myself as a blogger it isn’t about just writing something and then post it on my weblog then move on because that doesn’t work that way because we have to actually work which some of the people may not understand how that exactly goes. When I decide to write an article on my weblogs I always have to do some research to make sure that what I am going to write isn’t false information and then if I do write about something I must use my own words but use references to back up what I write about unless I write about something that doesn’t exist on the internet just yet which that can be very helpful for weblogs. When I write an article I always have to make sure that there are no copy because search engines doesn’t like the contents that’s already exists which is very important because I want to rank high in search engines so to make it easier for anyone who search for something that they look for then some articles from my weblogs would be in their search engines which that would means more visitors for my weblogs.
When it comes to weblogs it is very important to try to rank all the articles high in search engines which that is where SERP and SEO comes into the play, what are SERP and SEO? Search Engines Results Page and Search Engines Optimization. In order to make your weblogs successful you must bring in a lot of visitors (traffic) and where does that comes from or how to do that? The better SEO you do for each of articles the higher ranks for your SERP equals more visitors because the more traffic you brings in will help your weblogs to become more successful along with getting a lot of money because if you don’t do anything with SEO for your SERP then you will not get traffic and that means your weblogs would just be nothing.
Search engines looks for your contents, titles, keywords, headings, images ALT and others so the better job you do with SEO the higher your articles will be on SERP. So when it comes to weblogs the professional bloggers don’t just write an article for their weblogs and then move on because every articles they write they must make sure that their contents are good and then do SEO work for their article so to help their articles to be ranked in search engines results page (SERP) so that when anyone search for certain keyword then their articles will be bought up in the results (SERP) which helps to bring in traffic. For example if you are going to write something about Iphone then for SEO you have to make sure that your article has the right keywords, titles, images ALT and others that match something about Iphone so that when anyone goes to Google.com or other preferred search engines websites and then type in their keyword like “Iphone” and then whoever that searched for the keyword “Iphone” will find your article which that would earn you new visitors but if you don’t do that then when they search for the keyword like Iphone then your article may not even be in search engines or rank very low which that means your article may be on the last page of search engines out of millions searches and obviously no one will not go through many pages to just find your article because often they would only pick one article that’s wrote by somebody else on the first page of results which that means the person who wrote that article did excellent job at SEO because they have just got the visitor that you are not getting by not doing any SEO job for your weblogs.
Of course search engines are not the only way to bring in traffic for your weblogs because there are few of ways to bring traffic to your website by using social networking, bookmarking or out of mouth methods. Still search engines are the most important to get the traffic from and then through everything else comes in second, by social networking and bookmarking to bring in traffic is to share each articles you have written constantly so to keep them coming back to your weblogs. One of the most effective method to bring traffic to your weblogs by sharing each articles you have written to every known social networking websites and bookmarking websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Diigo, Digg, Reddit, Delicious, FriendFeed and many more. When it comes to run weblogs as your career you would have to try to write at least two to five articles daily which is a bit difficult especially for me when I have tight schedules but I keep doing it because it is my passion and it is my dream to turn my weblogs into successful which is a hard thing to do but in the end it will worth all the efforts I put into my weblogs like here at JoshiesWorld.
If you are wondering how you can turn your weblogs into a career then you would have to be committed being a blogger and that is to write few articles daily, do some promoting work by through search engines, social networking and bookmarking websites so to bring in traffic because the more visitors you bring the more money you will be making by using advertising network or affiliate programs like Amazon and few of other good affiliate programs to pick out but mostly from advertising companies like Google or Yahoo Publishing Network (Media.net). But at the start you would have to have a good amount of visitors coming to your weblogs daily in order for advertising companies or affiliate programs to approve your applications when you fill out applications to be a partner or member of their programs or their companies which sometimes can be easy and sometimes can be hard depending on some of the days.
