10-29-2021 Snippets

I know it has been a long time since I wrote a snippets article; a few things prevent me from finding the time to write an article or even a review for anything. In the summer is when I usually barely find any time to write anything, but as the fall season approach and then the winter is when I find the time to write more often, which is why if you take a good look at all of my articles or reviews written on here you would see that I write more often from fall to spring then slow down a lot in the summer. During the summer, there are always conflicts in my schedules for anything, not just my media company/blog but also other works such as photography since I own a photography business and my time for anything such as spending time with family or friends. I always struggle with trying to find any time that has no conflict with others in the summer. Still, from fall to spring, especially in the winter, it becomes easier on me, so this year should not be any different than many years in a row, so I should be back writing more articles or reviews as the fall approach or more so when the winter is nearing. Blackface Social Media Post By Belfry Middle School Teacher

There is news swirling around all over here in Belfry, Ky and in Pike County, Ky that there is a teacher who works at Belfry Middle School had taken a photo on Snapchat using a blackface painting or alike to mock a policy that Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear committed to giving free healthcare to the black and BIPOC (black and indigenous people of colors) community (read about it here). Here is the article that talks about this fiasco that is going on around here in Pike County, Ky; however, there is one problem that they aren’t naming someone, and I always believe in naming people, especially if they need to be held accountable for their behaviors or their wrongdoings.

Pike Schools investigating alleged blackface social media post by a teacher by Chris Anderson at Mountain Top Media.

You would see such local news like Mountain Top Media and others who are afraid to hold people accountable for their actions, which I think is wrong because then how would people learn their lesson? And for that, I am naming her along with the evidence.

How did the memorial weekend and day go for you all? I hope that you all had fun over the weekend, today and that all of us are safe considering that memorial weekends are known for an event when a lot of the people would party too much that involves alcohol. Driving while drunk is one of the most stupid thing ever in my opinion, so I hope that if all of you didn’t do that and calls a cab or have somebody as your designated driver to take you home safely. As for me, I never celebrate Memorial Day because I don’t like the idea of celebrating in memory of somebody or something that had happened in the past and it can make me sad. I look at it as negative, I mean how can you bring yourself to party and involves alcohol to celebrate for Memorial Day when it is really in memory of the bad things that had happened to the human beings whether it be family, friends, or strangers? Anyway, I know I haven’t blogged in several weeks and I apologize for that. Not to long ago I wrote an article stating that I was pretty much getting burnt out with blogging and that I am to reduce my activity in blog for the time being…
