No long time see here! I know I haven’t written an article for the blog or any blogs for that matter and I apologize for keeping many of you in the dark waiting for a new article from me. How are you all guys and women? I hope that all of you are doing well, any of you who were affected by hurricanes whether it be Harvey, Irma, Jose and now Maria I hope that all of you are safe! Hurricanes are no fun, it is one of the most powerful weapon harnessed by the mother’s nature who had attacked several islands and mainland of the United States such as Texas or Florida. Now the Hurricane Maria recently attacked Puerto Rico and a few of islands around which have caused catastrophic for these people as they have lost hundreds of homes and most of the islands have no electricity. My heart goes out to you all who were hit by the hurricanes and for these who are in path of the Hurricane Maria please be safe! Happy 30th birthday to, can you guess whose birthday today? Moi! I have just turned thirty (30) years old, it feels like I am eighty years old or somewhere around that age and becoming thirty years old is a milestone which some calls it real adulthood. Some people sees eighteen or twenty-one years old is the age that they enter the adulthood, which it may be true that becoming twenty-one years old is becoming an adult but truly an adulthood? I don’t see that way as I went through it obviously, I never felt or really recognized as a fully adult when I turned twenty-one years old as a lot of people have told me that I am young and some children thinks that becoming eighteen is to be an adult – not true. What really happens when turns eighteen is that you are given some privileges, being able to buy some tobaccos and to be able to make your own choice for what you want to do with your life. The other day I have stumbled upon some researches and watched some videos of a laboratories company named Starkey Hearing Foundation that have not just angered me but angered several individuals in the Deaf community. Starkey is a company that make hearing technology for any individuals that have a problem with hearing and Starkey have led several people to think that Starkey is the hero as it is what Starkey would want you to see them as but they are not really the hero that you thought. There are several articles or videos that have shown where there are public figures individuals such as some of United States of American former presidents like George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and our running for president Hillary Clinton gives the hearing aids to some of the people who are either Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Even the Starkey have said that their hearing technology is the treatment or the solution for anyone who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing just upsets the Deaf community even more because it is misleading as there is several Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals have said that they limits their freedom more than they have. I remember several years ago there was a television show that several children loved watching named Hannah Montana, the star acting was Miley Cyrus who is a daughter of country legendary “Achy Breaky Heart” singer Billy Ray Cyrus who was also starred in the pop culture television show Hannah Montana with his biology daughter Miley Cyrus. We watched almost the entire of Miley Cyrus’s growth through Hannah Montana television show on Disney World channel as in the beginning of the television show Miley Cyrus were very little girl who would make millions of people in awe of her cuteness, admittedly I am one of these people as I was a fan of Hannah Montana television show back in the days although I don’t watch it on regular basis but enough to know about her television show.
