Hey guys! How are all of you doing tonight? I hope that all of you are doing well, I see that we are already starting to feel the winter as it is reminding us that the winter is in the corner and that we better be prepared for it when they come. Why I said that we better be prepared for the winter? Because the mother nature made sure that they are unpredictable in the eyes of ours last year, when in around at that time in November last year that we are on this year a lot of us figured that it was just going to be what we predicted; Not a lot of snows, just a bit cold and a bit warm on some days but a very few days of blistering cold but we were wronged. The mother nature threw us something that we never thought to predict, a blizzard namely The Snowzilla last year where in eastern part of the United States had several feet of snows and the temperature were almost too unbearable. There are a few of topics that I would like to discuss about with you today, as some of you know that I write tidbits article here now and then so you should know that sometimes that a tidbits article can get long because where the definition for tidbit means that it is a bit of anything. There were the warnings going off the hook on Thursday evening in the surroundings of Belfry areas in Pike County in the center of east in the state of Kentucky in United States that were telling everyone who resides in these areas in the Pike County, Ky to be prepared for a huge snowstorm that was coming over from in the morning on Friday to this evening on Saturday and that we would be getting the range in 15 inches to 20 inches of snow as the weather services says so of course this caused a panic to many people to where that they had to make a trip to the grocery store to buy some essentials including foods to be prepared for the snowstorm which they named it the Winter Snowstorm Jonas. In the warnings it said that we would be getting hit with around 30 mile per hours of gust/wind along with heavy snow and that it would very likely to cause power outage which that caused the power provider AEP Kentucky Power to call in additional crewmen for emergency assistance which comes from all over such as the state of Indiana, state of South Carolina, state of Michigan and others to standby for when we have power outage that would be affected from the snowstorm Jonas. The wintry storm has hit in Kentucky specifically Pike county like it has never happened before in decades. I live in that county in Kentucky which is one of the counties that got hit the most, here we got hit so bad that we had to declare state emergency in level 3 and several of residents has lost power and some damages however luckily I live in the mountain that the power lines are under several trees which makes it harder for the outrage however only damage I had gotten was the internet and TV and I would rather that than losing any power because the power is more important than those especially for the heater to keep us all warm throughout the wintry storm. This all had happened on Sunday night all through until Monday night, we had nonstop of it. We had a report that we would have 6-8 of ice and 4-6 of snows covering the layers of ice and in the morning on Monday the street in front of my home were nothing but ice with snows covering them and several vehicles has driven through them that had left no marks, because usually when there are some inches of snows and cars drives over them it would leave two lines marks from the both sides of…
Tidbits And The Mother Nature.
On the day of July 13th 2015 everyone were doing their everyday routines whether it be working, running some errands, hanging out with family or friends and whatever else that everyone’s usual routines are but something had happened that no one knew that would happen to every one of them including myself. While every one here in few of counties such as Pike County, Martin County, Johnson County, Perry County among other few more that is in both states of Kentucky and West Virginia enjoying their days regardless what they were doing while at same time not expecting something that would be something bad on the way to these counties that would literally turn everyone that lives around these areas life up downside rather quickly.
