Microsoft banned by China Govs.

Microsoft in China

Recently the news surfaced on the internet that caught Microsoft off guard as it was unexpected especially that it’s coming from the governments in China, as every one of us know that Microsoft is very popular especially with their products and their operating system as Microsoft operating systems is the most important thing in today’s laptops and desktops. While there is other operating systems such as Linux or Mac but they aren’t on the same level as the Microsoft are at and all of us know that the major population in every nations owns Microsoft operating systems while only quarter percent in worldwide owns the other operating systems such as Mac OS or Linux or newly released operating systems Chrome developed by Google but Microsoft dominate the worldwide in operating systems for both laptops and desktops nonetheless. Until couple of a days ago that changed because something that happened unexpected in one of the major nation behind United States and Russia and I am sure you can guess what nation I am referring to.

Microsoft is banned by China.

The nation China has decided to ban the operating systems developed by Microsoft the Windows 8 from all the systems that uses Windows 8 including their smartphone and tablets and possibly Xbox gaming consoles considering that they use Windows 8 operating system. China banned anyone to use Microsoft operating systems Windows 8 on any devices that uses Microsoft Windows 8 but not anyone to be exact as China only banned their governments to use Microsoft operating system Windows 8, lucky for the non-governments users to still be able to use Microsoft Windows 8 operating system devices and Microsoft was caught off guard when they found out that their operating system for all the devices is banned in China for the governments.

Microsoft stated that they always try to work with all the governments in all the nations to meet their requirements but obviously it has not met China’s governments requirements and not only that the decision by China governments to ban Microsoft Windows 8 on all the devices where China governments will not be allowed to use Microsoft operating system Windows 8 on any of the devices at very bad timing because Microsoft has just announced that they will no longer support their old Microsoft operating system Windows XP and that puts China governments in tough spot because Microsoft operating system Windows XP is now wide open to viruses, malware and any type of attacks now and China governments buildings and their offices use Microsoft operating system Windows XP majorly now no longer have their preferred operating systems protected by any kinds of attacks as the Microsoft operating system windows XP is an open invitation to all types of attackers.

China has stated that the reason they made the decision to ban Microsoft new operating system Windows 8 is because they are trying to avoid getting stuck with outdated Microsoft windows systems in the future. Well here’s the bad news for China, they are getting stuck with outdated windows system now because they have decided to ban Microsoft new operating systems Windows 8 and choose to continue using Microsoft old operating systems Windows XP which is now “outdated” operating systems that Microsoft no longer supports. That is a bit of funny if you ask me because they thought banning Microsoft new operating system Windows 8 due to avoid being stuck with outdated operating system while they are actually going to be stuck with the outdated Microsoft old operating systems Windows XP? Hilarious!

Bad timing for China and maybe they now rethink about lifting the ban for Microsoft new operating systems Windows 8 so that they can continue getting support and patches for the operating systems security as Microsoft has recently announced that they will no longer support their old Microsoft operating systems Windows XP meaning that there will not be any future updates for anything including the security patches therefore this gives the invitation to any type of attackers to do whatever they wish to do with anyone laptop or desktop that has installed Microsoft old operating systems Windows XP.

My opinion.

Now I honestly don’t see the reason for China’s governments to make a decision to ban Microsoft new operating system Windows 8 because the new operating system has much more features and is tighter in security than any older version of Microsoft operating systems and not only that it has more functions on the new operating system than any older version of operating systems although some of the people especially tech savvy may still prefer Windows XP because of these awesome software that most of the people miss although almost all the great software is transitioning into the new Microsoft operating system Windows 8. I mean I am a huge fan of Windows 98/ME and XP because they are very classic and probably still considered ones of the best operating systems in the history but I would still want to be protected from anything with the security patches updates and other updates, also to be able to have more controls and I believe that the Microsoft operating system Windows 8 has more software than the older version and is growing in the numbers of software now especially that the new Microsoft operating system Windows 8.1 Pro which is what I own could open apps such as Netflix, Facebook, Twitter and others.

If you are still using the old version Microsoft operating system windows then I recommend that it’s time for you to move on and keep up with the new technology because the newer technology is becoming better and has more things to it but that is my opinion and if you wish to stick with the old version of operating systems then I have no problem with that because everyone has different preference as anybody can choose whichever they are more comfortable with and Microsoft new operating systems Windows 8.1 Pro is the operating system that I am more comfortable with although I can admit that I am missing the older version especially Windows 98/ME and XP like crazy but the old is past and the new is the future.

I am wrapping this up but I would like for you to leave a comment below here and let me know what operating system is your favorite and what is your thought about China governments banning Windows old version operating system Windows 8 due to trying to avoid to be stuck with outdated operating system while their preferred operating system has become outdated operating system? Think it was bad timing for them to make a such decision to ban the new and updated operating system, because I do think so myself!
