2-12-2017 Tidbits

I know I haven’t written a blog post for several days, more than a week now since the last blog post that I wrote were February 4th and I apologize for that. I just couldn’t find the time to write a blog post past several days, it has been time-consuming for me lately with other projects that I am working on and it is overwhelming to the point that I rarely find any time to sleep because the later I get the shorter sleep I will get. I barely find the time to keep up with the news that is going on around here in the United States and in other countries so that means I hardly had the chance to come up with some of the topics to share my opinions or my thoughts on news this past week. After the summer last year, my schedules became so messy to the point where I barely know what tasks I think I can complete and what tasks I must dismiss to complete some of other tasks especially the ones I consider more important than others. I believe that one or two blog posts earlier I have stated that I would try to write more blog posts than I have been since the summer last year, it is obvious that I have failed doing that and I will say this that I have no absolutely idea if I will be able to find the time to write blog posts on regular basis that I used to because of other projects that is taking a lot of my attention away but I will at least say this that I will try my darndest best to write a blog post once a week for the time being instead of three or four times a week that I used to. I just will have to try to figure out my schedule a bit better, this would mean that I will have to strategically figure my schedule as much as I can and hopefully I will be able to take myself back on the track to where I can at least write a blog post two or three times a week instead of once a week for the time being so I hope that you will bear with me for now until I figure something out.

Donation and Gifts

So as we know that a few websites or blogs who have a donation button or gifts wish list service such as Amazon where they can list things that they would like to have and anybody can send them a gift by buying something from their wish list. A service such as Amazon, it is already set up where you would pick anything from their wish list that they would like to have then pay for them and Amazon will ship these things that you bought from their wish list to them without revealing their shipping address or your shipping address as well along with any sensitive information such as billing information so it’s a great feature that Amazon has to offer for anyone who would like to make a wish list for somebody else to buy them as a gift to them. Now not many but some websites and bloggers puts the donation button where you can donate any funds that you wish to them through PayPal, PayPal is secured as well like Amazon as they never share any sensitive information to anybody that you send a donation or gift to them as they only show your name to let them know who the donation or gift were coming from although I believe that they have anonymous option but I am not sure of that because I have not looked into it yet.

Ethics: Color Me White.

The other day I decided to tune in a news channel on my television to see the latest current events and to see if there is anything new going on in politics especially the United States or the world too. Almost all the news that I caught on the television the other day isn’t so new to me especially with the debates going on for the presidential candidates which is something that I am rarely interested of and then finally there was news that caught my attention after being annoyingly patient watching almost an hour of the news because sometimes I don’t want to miss anything out as I realizes that sometimes when I started watching some news in the beginning that there weren’t anything interesting enough for me to the point that I changed the channel unknowingly that there would be some interesting news on the way within’ few minutes after watching the beginning of the news on television. The news that caught my attention was that the University of Missouri got the students protesting against the University of Missouri because they have radical problems going on around at the University of Missouri campus with their administration especially the systems president Tim Wolfe I believe where the students are saying that there have been some racist incidents going on around in the University of Missouri campus and the racist incidents are being ignored by the administration at University of Missouri which ignited the angry in the students that attends the University of Missouri.

WPSD Oppression.

WPSD

Some of you may know or some of you may not know but in the recent news for the Deaf community is that there is a protest going on against Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania because some of the students and some alumni have come out in the public saying that the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) oppresses the students or anyone else who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing but in general the Deaf community’s natural language American Sign Language (ASL). Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) is one of few institutions for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing people, Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf is considered the third institution type of school for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people where it offers all levels of education such as Grade, Middle and High school in one place for anyone who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing. The students along with the alumni who graduated from Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) are very angry with the administrations because they says that they were treated poorly from the administration from WPSD but that isn’t the only problem that the students or alumni have with the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) they also have a problem with the program that the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) offers along with the recent incident where the president or superintendent made an announcement that he is retiring this year.
