Calling For Some Support

As lately, I have been paying a large number of dollars making a drastic improvement by a complete redesign back in January, a move from an small unknown hosting provider to a large server company at the end of February and then paid even for more speed and bandwidth to make it goes from average 2-3 seconds loading speed to 200-800ms. That’s not all, I also had to pay a bunch of backend tools such as a drastic security improvement for all of the websites including JoshiesWorld.com and then paid all the essentials to make sure that all the websites to runs smoothly without any loss. This is the most drastic improvement that I have done for JoshiesWorld.com but some for the rest of others such as JoshuaBSullivan.com and AppalachianCrawlers.com but my priority were all JoshiesWorld.com. Just last week I have hired a professional designer to rework my logo, which is in progress of revisions and waiting for my approval so it should be ready within’ a week if all is well. My focus is making sure that it is smoother, faster, secured and easier to use. Now the next is marketing, not just that I also have another project that I am planning on to work on. For the growth, it’s all you guys/ladies and it wouldn’t be what…

JoshiesWorld.com Is Now Secured!

Among many of us bloggers, journalists and even websites owner have struggling to make a decision whether if it would be that necessary to move from a common connection which is still secured but not exactly that much of a secure though as it depends on some of the servers that host some websites. Some news writer, bloggers, journalists, and website owners decided that even though their websites are secured enough so they ignore the need of improving its security of the website’s connection using a website address which connects you both to the side ends. Securing a connection is a must especially for the visitors if they want to submit anything such as information, contact, anything that goes through a website between both of you and theirs so if they decided to secure their connection so that way your information or anything won’t get out is to purchase an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) or Transport Layer Security for them. Even as a weblog, many thought that it isn’t important or a necessary to have that because they just feel that they are good enough and that they have nothing on their weblog that would need any information from their viewers but this is where they are wrong as I just realized a while back. Because every websites or weblog…

1-21-2017 Tidbits

I wasn’t sure if I was in mood to blog tonight or not, honestly, I haven’t been in mood for much of anything anyway and I decided that since I have nothing else to do for about an hour and half so I decided that I will use that time to blog about something. I know ever since the new year or this year in 2017 seems that I starts to lagging on blog as I usually write an article for every two days for the entire year of last year 2016 and so far, this year I have moved from one article in every two days to one article every weekend and I would like to apologize for that but I have been busy lately with the things that’s going on around here. Nothing to do with my health though, thankful for that and by being busy I mean advocating for the Affordable Care Act. I am still is and have been a vocal in Affordable Care Act especially for the state of Kentucky because Kentucky is one of few states that rely on it more than anything as most of them are people with disabilities like myself, retired coal miners and veterans or children of a parents that cannot afford the care for their child so they rely…

Warning: Heartbleed bug.

Ever since the heartbleed bug went into trending over the internet and that word went viral which was quite unbelievable especially how many news and websites announced about heartbleed and recommending each one of you to install heartbleed bug into your websites. Ever since the news and other websites comes out discussing about heartbleed I wasn’t so sure of it and my instincts had told me that it’s not safe because I had a feeling that it were made by governments (NSA) that would gather information from people through the internet because for several days I have read news about how NSA begin to hack or gather all kinds of information they can get from you all and it turns out that my instinct were right which that surprised me because I almost thought it was a safe but glad that I went with my instinct.
