Wonder Woman 1984

This is the second film for Wonder Woman, as the first one was titled simply Wonder Woman, released on May 25th, 2017, and this second one, the latest, is titled Wonder Woman 1984, released on December 25th, 2020. The main character who portrays Wonder Woman in the first one is the same one that portrays the second movie Wonder Woman 1984, Gal Gadot. If you don’t know what Wonder Woman is, she is a comic character for DC Comics, who is a superhero. Wonder Woman is among the most popular superheroes, with the likes of Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, and others. This Wonder Woman 1984 had pretty decent action scenes but not better than the first one. There are a few moments in this movie that I wish they would have gone a different way or done better. In the first Wonder Woman movie, we could see a good number of epic fights and actions, but this Wonder Woman 1984, if I recall it, only has one or two epic activities that involve fighting. They were almost at the movie’s end, unlike the first Wonder Woman movie. I think the biggest issue with Wonder Woman 1984 is the script itself and the movie’s storyline because I was a bit disappointed that they did not push themselves…

Congratulation Troy Kotsur and CODA

I want to congratulate Troy Kotsur for winning the Oscar for Best Supporting actor and congratulate everyone involved in a movie named CODA for winning the Oscars for best picture and best adapted screenplay on March 27th! That wasn’t all; Troy Kotsur and CODA have won several awards before winning any awards from the Oscars. They won several SAG awards, such as outstanding performance by an actor in a supporting role in a motion picture (for Troy Kotsur), the best theatrical motion picture. They also won some BAFTA (Almost like Oscars but in British) and many more awards. Troy Kotsur became the second Deaf person to own an Oscar, he is the first Deaf male to win an oscar but the second to win the oscar, and the first Deaf person to win the oscar was none other than Marlee Matlin (along with the first Deaf female to win the Oscar). Marlee Matlin won the Oscar for her movie Children of a Lesser God back in 1987, so the gap for another Deaf actor or actress to win another one is enormous as it has been 35 years, so it was a way overdue, in my opinion. Both of them deserve the Oscars; I am a fan of both even though Marlee Matlin has me blocked on Twitter for some…

Free Guy

Two nights ago, I finally found the time to watch a movie titled Free Guy. Free Guy movie was released last year on August 13th, in 2021, so I have been putting it off because I have been very busy with other things such as running all of my businesses and barely could find the time for anything until I finally was in the mood to watch a movie, so I picked Free Guy to watch out of many unwatched new movies I have waiting for me to watch. Free Guy movie is an action, adventure, and comedy movie starring Ryan Reynolds as its leading actor with Jodie Comer, Taika Waititi, Lil Rel Howery, Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Channing Tatum. With that being said, now that I have watched the movie Free Guy, I will do a movie review for you readers! It started pretty well, as the beginning of many movies usually does, and then gave us an idea of where the film would lead us to the end or let us know what the movie would be about. When I saw the beginning, I thought that any gamers who watch this movie would be excited and understand how it works, especially being starting over and over again – respawning. I believe that this movie pretty much portrays…

IP Man 4: The Finale

This movie is a bit old by now, but not old to me though because I have had this movie ever since the day it came out, but I didn’t find the time to watch the film until the other night, which it was about the time that I give it a watch as it was overdue. Now that I watched the movie the other night, I decided to give myself a few days to ingest it somewhat and think it thorough because it was somewhat bittersweet. The film I am referring to that I watched the other night is IP Man 4: The Finale, and that is the movie that I am going to be reviewing here! Ah, bittersweet. I am a huge fan of the IP Man movie; some people don’t know that this movie is based on a real person, but the movie’s accuracy based on that person is questionable. That man named IP is a real person as the actual name that the film is based on is Ip Kai-man. Ip Man was born in Fatshan, Kwangtung, Qing China, and died in Mong Kok, Kowloon, British Hong Kong (notice British, it was because Hong Kong was under British’s control during IP Man’s time). Okay, onto the IP Man 4: The Finale movie. The number 4 is…

Midway

The other night I have decided to go ahead and watch a movie called Midway. I have been putting it aside for about a couple of years because I wanted to watch the rest of the movies that I had purchased that I believed would be mediocre or less and that Midway would be one of other few movies that I felt would be the better movies to watch, so I was saving the better movies last. I have caught up on several movies that I initially thought would be mediocre, although some of them surprised me. I started catching up on these movies that I believed to be better movies, so last weekend, Midway moved up to my next to watch. Last weekend I decided to watch the Midway movie; if you don’t know what the name midway is, it is an island under one of the United States territories. The island’s real name is Midway Atoll which is close to the state of Hawaii, and after world war two, that island has become well-known for one of the locations that the United States used during their battle of midway. I was almost excited to watch the Midway movie because their trailer was impressive. If you have not watched Midway and do not want to know the spoilers, then…
