09-04-2023 Snippets

I believe it is time for a snippets article, as I know it is somewhat overdue since the last time I wrote a snippets article was on 4-14-2023, over two months! So, I apologize about that, and I have been swamped lately with many things on my plate. I have been dealing with a lot of things; as I said, I have a ton of things that I had to deal with, and I still have so many things that I have to deal with, so I am being overwhelmed lately, not just on the businesses side, but also personally and as well mentally. Nonetheless, a snippets article is overdue, so it is time for a new one, and I have a few things (a few topics) that I would like to discuss or share with some of you! Here is the list of the topics that you will be reading for this snippets article; click/press that to open/expand the topics list, and you can click it again to close the topics list as well to get the list of the topics out of the way or that you would prefer to read the entire article instead of selecting only topics that might interest you. To read a specific topic all you have to do is click/press on the topic…

6-17-2022 Snippets

I know I have not written a snippets article for a while as the last snippets I wrote was in October 2021, so it was several months ago. Although a few reviews have been written recently, a couple of articles are more of personal letters and guest articles. There hasn’t been one published for several months for a snippets article, which I think is overdue, so here I am writing a new one! 6-17-2022 Snippets Here is the list of the topics written in this 6-17-2022 snippets article. If you prefer to just read a few of them instead of the entire snippets article, you can do that by clicking any of the topics in the list, which will take you straight to that topic you are interested in. To see the topics list for this snippets article, you can click “Show Topics List” below, and it will open/expand the list of the topics written in this snippets article. I hope you find at least a few topics that may interest you! It would be awesome if you read the entirety of this snippets article; if you could not finish it, you can never forget which topic you stopped at and come back later to read the rest of it! How have I been, and what have I been up…

Happy New Year 2022

Here at JoshiesWorld, I wish you a very happy new year of 2022! I am sure that many of you have goals or resolutions that you would like to accomplish in the new year of 2022. That goes the same with me, which I will be sharing in a few days in a new article on here so you can get an idea of what goals or resolutions I might have for the year 2022. As we are going into a new year, we have a new page of 2022 to do something that we learned not to repeat whatever we did in 2021 that was not good or our bad mistakes. Whatever we may have done that was not good for us in 2021 never be cleansed, but in 2022 we have a new slate to do whatever can reflect us in a good way. Sure, whether our 2021 year might reflect us in a good or bad way is something that we can never erase because it has been recorded. Now, how do we want the 2022 record of ourselves to look like? It is entirely in our hands on that one. Speaking of the 2021 record, of whatever we did, whether it is good or bad that reflects who we are, we have a chance to be…

Computers Made A Difference For A Deaf Child!

This is just a very small post for you all to read because this is more on a personal level than I normally write. For many years, I have been looking for pictures of myself when I was young, especially my accomplishments and whatnot. I do know that I was the first student to demonstrate a new computer with disc compact (CD) for Pike County schools in Kentucky; that is the newspaper that I am still in search of, but I have found an old VHS which I am working on figuring out how to transfer the VHS digitally. If so, I will show it around here or on social media. While we were going through old things such as pictures, VHS tapes, and whatnot, I finally found some newspapers with me in them. It was the talk of Pike County, Ky, because I was a student who happened to be Deaf student who was paving the way to get new computers for the students at my school when I was just five years old. During my time in grade school, I was five years old or around that age; when anyone thinks of someone who is a computer whiz, I would be it, and being Deaf is what made me so, which is something I am very thankful for.…

A Boy Mocked ASL In School And Got Slammed!

There are only a few people, more so students at that time have witnessed this including my best friend Robert Wolfe and among few of others that were close to us know about what had happened in the lunch room in 2005 at Belfry High School. One day in early afternoon at Belfry High School, I was a senior student, one of two Deaf students who attended a public school but before that during my freshman year and sophomore year I was the only Deaf student that attended Belfry High School then when I go back to school after summer a Deaf girl named Cameo were transferred to Belfry High School as a sophomore from Ohio while I became a junior. As one of two Deaf student, it was a bit tough especially trying to mingle with the crowd, but I was fortunate to have a few friends who learned to be fluent in American Sign Language since a few of us became friends from the freshman year. Fast-forward to the senior year in 2005, in early afternoon at Belfry High School and it was time for a lunch but my math teacher allowed me to go to the lunch room a few minutes earlier before my lunch so that I could see my best friend because there were 3…
