Media Have Been Revamped!

For the few days I have thought that I should do something about the media page, because I want to offer something more than just a few photos for all of you readers, fans, friends and family so I have come to a decision that I would revamp the media part on here at JoshiesWorld today which is what I have worked for the entire day. So now that here at JoshiesWorld, I no longer offer just a few boring photos but also plans on to add more pictures as when I get more pictures they will be added directly to here and not only that I now have decided to not only just snap some photos here for you to view them but also I now do some videos for you to watch! You can get to the media page by going to the media tab at the top of this website at JoshiesWorld.com then select whichever a category in each gallery such as videos or photos and select which category you’d like to view the pictures or to watch some videos there. There will be a lot more to come for both sides, the photos and the videos as well as I am planning on to add more to each as soon as I take some more so for now I hope that all of you enjoy the revamped media page. If you couldn’t find the media tab at the top of the website then you can simply click this link here and you will be taken to it to visit the revamped media page. By revamped, before it was only three albums of photos but now I have expanded it into more than three albums for the photos and added videos to it with different albums for the videos as well so enjoy them and hope that some of them will entertain you as it does me recording some videos or taking some pictures!

Facebook Emotions To Replace Like Button.

Past a few months there have been a discussion that were going on around at Facebook headquarter about what to do with the famous Facebook like system that we all know and used that feature on regular basis all around the giant social networking website Facebook. For past few months there were several people who have sent in suggestion to Facebook asking the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to add dislike button to that system and then filed complaints to Facebook about Mark Zuckerberg for not listening to Facebook users when it comes to Facebook users sending in suggestions for the like system in particular but later on its Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg decided to make an announcement a several months ago stating that he Mark Zuckerberg does not want to add the dislike button to that system because he said that he felt that the dislike button feels like negative as he says that he wants for Facebook to still be positive. A few months later since that announcement Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg made about adding the dislike button is negative but he still want Facebook users to know that he does listen so he made an announcement in the past weeks that they were working on new features that may replace the Facebook famous like buttons to something else to satisfy Facebook users or at least try to so he built new features and released them to only limited numbers of Facebook users for a test to see what outcome the Facebook Mark Zuckerberg himself could get from new replacement for the Facebook like button.

Merry Christmas ’15!

I would like to wish every one of you readers a very Merry Christmas and I hope that every one of you have a great one. Christmas is probably the most important holiday here in the United States and international depending on some countries as there are some countries that banned Christmas especially not allowing anyone in some countries to decorate Christmas stuff such as tree, lighting and others that represent Christmas which is saddening. Even though I have never went to these countries that have banned Christmas, I cannot ever understand why the prime minster or president of the countries enforced the law where that no citizens in these countries to celebrate Christmas even and what hits me the most is that no children in these countries to be able to celebrate Christmas because children celebrates the Christmas more than the adults which brings the joy to the adults to see that the children celebrates for Christmas while unwrapping the presents they have received from Santa Clause (I know Santa Clause isn’t real!).

How can some countries bans anyone to celebrate Christmas? Is it because these prime ministers or presidents were treated poorly by their parents or not getting anything that they wished for Christmas from Santa Clause which is obviously their parents? The countries that we have acknowledge so far from several recent news that have banned Christmas is Somalia and Brunei.

The ASL App For You!

Many of you or some of you know that Deaf individuals natural language would be American Sign Language, for short ASL which is a language that the people who is Deaf and Hard of Hearing use as their communication tool to communicate. Commonly Deaf people use American Sign Language to communicate with each others but they have attempted to communicate with the people who’s able or they call them “hearies” in American Sign Language and majorly they failed to understand that language because they never learned American Sign Language which mainstream schools is the one to blame for because most of them don’t offer American Sign Language as one of their languages class. Several mainstream or public schools are offering at least language for the students to take, mostly either Spanish or French but not American Sign Language and what they don’t realize is that American Sign Language is more used than French but as important as Spanish though since in United States there is no official languages but three most used languages would be English, Spanish and American Sign Language equally. In 2012 United States Census populations for the people who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing is nearly forty (40) millions, 38,225,590 to be exact who lives in the United States who happens to be Deaf or Hard of Hearing and it is nonsense for any mainstream or public schools to not be offering American Sign Language as one of their languages class for students to take in. Only the most education that offers American Sign Language (ASL) would be Deaf institution and few colleges such as Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. which is mecca for Deaf people.

Facebook Legacy.

Not too long ago the leading social networking company, Facebook decided to come up with a new of something for its users where they can pass their legacy from Facebook account to one of their family members or to someone who they would trust to manage their Facebook account after they passed away. When you pass away, that person who you added as your legacy for your Facebook account will let Facebook know that its user have passed away and you will then take over his or hers Facebook account which it will act as memorial profile for that user. The name of the person you see on the top of his or her profile will be changed to memory of _________. The access to his or her Facebook account will be limited such as you will not be able to read his or her message or anything else but accept its new friends, wall posts and the basic stuff. By taking it over will ensure that the Facebook account of the person who passed away to not become inactive overtime, to be hacked, spammed and such so to make sure that nothing happens to his or her Facebook account. I have taken screenshots with instructions on how to add someone as legacy for your Facebook account that you trust someone who will be taking over your Facebook profile so that it can allow everybody to post their memories about that person and to prevent somebody else to take it over because they can especially if they have the death certification so by adding legacy will prevent anyone else to take the control of your Facebook account.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This is Joshie, JoshiesWorld founder and blogger speaking out to all of you readers, fans or friends whichever you prefer but in my mind all of you are friends even may of you may be strangers because I don’t know you although you may know me a bit through here. I wanted to make a blog post to tell every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving and that I hope all of you have a great day! I am certain that most of you will because it involves a full table of delicious foods right?! One of few things to be thankful for, to have foods to fed and to be able to share the foods with your family while sharing some memories with each others which is a very precious thing to have. Me? I used to look forward to thanksgiving every year because that means I get to visit my grandparent’s house, eat large amounts of foods and spend the time with the grandparents along with the rest of the family as my grandparents house were the place that everyone in the family to be at on the thanksgiving day. But unfortunately, I no longer looking forward to thanksgiving which that means I have lost interests for the thanksgiving for a few years now although the traditional of having thanksgiving foods carries on as a I refuses that traditional to be broken even if it’s a day earlier or on the day of Thanksgiving or the day after the Thanksgiving but no longer or earlier than that.
