The Society of Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Seriously most of you guys got it made easy, most of you have privileges whether it be from your generations, your backgrounds and the record that you have done all of your lives. Now as for Deaf or Hard of Hearing people and you both have same privileges that you use at your advantage of getting something such as a job, Deaf or Hard of Hearing will have to double the efforts trying to be hired by somebody or at somewhere while the hearing person doesn’t; It’s almost guaranteed that the hearing person would be hired in a heartbeat while the Deaf or Hard of Hearing people wouldn’t even get a chance for an interview. That’s how the society is, if the hearing person has one associate degree while the Deaf or Hard of Hearing have two PhD, three masters, two bachelor degrees, the company or someone would immediately hire the one with an associate degree over the person who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing that has several degrees including PhD, Bachelor and masters they still would prefer to hire that one hearing person who have associate degree while not bothering to give the person who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing with very higher education along with rich knowledge or skills in a position that they were looking…

Eastern Kentucky by New York Times.

Last year on June 26, 2014 New York Times have written an article with the title that says “What’s the Matter With Eastern Kentucky?” has been discovered by some Facebook users which I am a bit surprised because of the article was written over a year ago and it shows that not many residents in Eastern Kentucky reads New York Times as New York Times is in the top 10 most popular news media outlet especially with their New York Times blog since millions of people have gone digital as opposed to buying the materials which are the newspaper or magazines paperback. Ever since some Facebook users who happens to be Eastern Kentucky residents who discovered the “What’s the Matter With Eastern Kentucky?” article on New York Times website (NYTimes.com) then shared the article to their Facebook wall post which ended up getting more attention than it did last year as there were no Eastern Kentucky residents at that time shared the article on the day they wrote it and ever since it was shared it bring in mixed responses especially in the comments section over at Facebook about “What’s the Matter With Eastern Kentucky?” article written by one of New York Times writer/blogger. As surprised I was with it being discovered by some residents from Eastern Kentucky, I was…

WPSD Oppression.

Some of you may know or some of you may not know but in the recent news for the Deaf community is that there is a protest going on against Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania because some of the students and some alumni have come out in the public saying that the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) oppresses the students or anyone else who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing but in general the Deaf community’s natural language American Sign Language (ASL). Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) is one of few institutions for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing people, Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf is considered the third institution type of school for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people where it offers all levels of education such as Grade, Middle and High school in one place for anyone who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing. The students along with the alumni who graduated from Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) are very angry with the administrations because they says that they were treated poorly from the administration from WPSD but that isn’t the only problem that the students or alumni have with the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) they also have a problem with…

Cigars and tidbits 3!

Before I will start typing this article out I would like to say that I apologize that I have not wrote an article a couple of days ago as I planned to but then there was a problem occurred and that would be my keyboard stopped working properly. I was going to have to wait for a week or so until I get a new keyboard because I will have to order the keyboard that I like that isn’t in the store and beside only closest store here would be Wal-Mart so they don’t sell good keyboards. When it comes to keyboards I am very picky because I only want a keyboard that has great looking design along with multimedia and gaming functions/buttons which almost never sells in Wal-Mart so I have to buy them online. Already got a couple of keyboards that I am debating on which I should buy, Razer Deathstalker Ultimate for $249.99 or Logitech G19S for $199.99 (I will show pictures of both keyboards below) although I am leaning to Razer Deathstalker more because of its design and mechanical are wild but offers a little more than Logitech G19S has but a bit more expensive. I realized that it would take about a week or so for a keyboard to be shipped here so I decided…

Business preferences for some.

There are several businesses around today and many more of businesses are opening everyday which means more competitors that either hurts some of the businesses or shut out some of the businesses. Several new businesses is actually worse than the old businesses such as convince stores, gas stations, restaurants, clothing stores, factories and many type of others for businesses and everyone have their own preference especially when it comes to choosing which one to go to rather than the rest of other businesses. While it is great that there are many of new businesses opening because that means there is more jobs for hiring and this increase the rate of employments, but the downside is that it is also causing many of old businesses to lay off several of their employees which is a bit funny how it goes but the question is which old businesses or new businesses would be more necessary or which one would have more numbers of jobs? That is very great but a hard question and that gives every one of us something to think about or to figure out the answer to that question, but either way the new businesses are hurting the old businesses at least in my opinion. Business preferences. Everyone have their own preference of the businesses to go, such as…

Sandy Hook Elem and Guns Control.

I have been reading news over online and watching videos regarding guns and how some of people that are wanting the guns control to be banned in due to recently shooting in Newtorn, Connecticut at elementary school (Sandy Hook). Firstly I would like to say that it is quite saddening and very sickening of this murderer that has murdered these innocent little angels especially that it’s right in the corner of Christmas and all of these little children were looking very forward to opening their presents with their little cute fingers and hands, and smiling in front of their parents and family and now that because of this disturbingly sicko named Adam Lanza had to break into Sandy Hook elementary school and decided to spray bullets from his weapons – excuse me, his mothers! Really, why did he had to shoot the innocent children when in fact he knew that they in no way of knowing how to defend themselves so obviously sadly they were his easy wrongly targets as in many of news that reporters/interviewers/writers said that the murderer Adam Lanza targeted the little children is because he knew there would not be any interference and that killing the children were actually very carefully planned, he preplanned that event! How in the world could he or even in anyone’s…
