4-1-2017 Tidbits

It seems that the time has flown on, yesterday it seems as if it is still in the late winter like in February and now it is the first day of the April! I cannot believe how fast the new year 2017 is going already, maybe it is mainly because I have been very busy that I barely pay attention to the calendar and it passed by me. I remember last year in summer that the year of 2016 were going too fast, that we were already nearing Christmas and I said that I felt everything somehow rushed so now it is 2017 I am saying the same thing except that we are getting closer to summer in a hurry. I am sure by now that through several articles I have written last year especially around in the fall that I was looking forward to the winter because I am a winter person, I am a biggest fan of the winter because I never can stand the heat temperature that summer throws at me in the summer and I am not one of these many people who says that they cannot wait for the summer then they cannot wait for the winter. Not making up its mind, I always sticks with that I cannot wait for the winter for several years now because I am not in particular fan of summer for over a decade and the winter has already disappeared since we are heading for the spring so I miss the winter dearly already even though that the winter have just left us. While the winter is my favorite season, I am also fan of the spring and fall but the most favorite season is the winter because I like cold or cool temperature over the scorching heat temperature that I am not looking forward to when the summer arrives. Anyway, I hope that all of you have done fine lately, I know I haven’t really blog for more than a month or two especially for a tidbits article but besides being busy there are a few of things that consumes my time every day and every night that I would rather not to share the details about them as they are private matters but here I am with at least a tidbits article for all of you to read.

Tidbits 2/14/2016.

Here we are at it again, as in the last article I have promised all of my readers that I will be writing another tidbits sooner than expected or usual and I have a few topics that I would like to talk about with some of you if you don’t mind. I will try my best to make this one tidbits article to be shorter but a few more topics than the usual, where I tend to write long paragraph for each topics and this time I am going to try to write shorter paragraph for each topics so to not make it time-consuming although I do know that some of you like some long readings but I am somewhat in a rush myself. Why rush? It is nearing my bed time and the decision to write this tidbits article is at spur of the time but are you ready? Should I begin? Okay here we go.

Tidbits 2/14/2016

Hope some of you will be happy with the topics that I am writing in here and I would like to remind all of you that if there are any topics you would like to see me to share my views/opinions on you are more than welcome to send in your suggestions for the topics for me to share my views/opinions on by visiting this submit (click here) page.

Deaf Created Internet.

Do any one of you remember what it was to experience the internet for the first time? Especially some of you who was born in the 80s like I did and the people who born in 80s or earlier was the ones who truly experienced the internet for the first time especially in the beginning stage and whoever born a few years later than the 90s will never truly have the same experience that many of us who was born before the birth of internet because anyone who born a few years later the birth of internet in the late 80s (1989 in March to be specific) would not have to go through that we had to go through at that time when the internet was born especially World Wide Web (WWW). How is it different you ask? Some of you may remember or not remember, when the internet was born at that time we had gone through the most difficult thing ever with the internet and that is trying to connect to the internet using dial-up connection via telephone landline cable and at that time not many of us had the patience for that kind of thing. To have the first experience in trying out the internet today is more pleasuring, would put you in amaze of how the internet works and much less of hassles in getting connected to the internet. Back in the days when the internet was just born, it was truly a mess because it’s not as easy as plug and go as we had to manually connect to the internet by adding several information such as IP, DNS/Host name, username, and more then once that we have added the information in we would have to make a call to the telecommunication provider to ask them to connect us so imagine the hassle in doing that.

Windows 10!

Before I go ahead to write a tidbit article here for every reader’s pleasure, I hope that some or all the readers knows the reason of me not being able to blog for over a week by now as the last article I wrote I made an announcement that I don’t think I would be able to blog for a while because at that time I was going through pain myself so in other words I could not bear the pain I was feeling for over a week which means it was too discomforting for me to be able to write an article for the weblog here and in case if some of you missed the last article I wrote or wondered why I have not blogged for over a week then it was due to medical reason which is something that is somewhat sensitive for me to share the medical reason out here in the public but I can only say that I was in very pain at that time. Over a week ago my doctor said that if the pain that I was enduring don’t get better by ten days that my doctor would have no choice but to refer me to a surgeon where there would be possibility that I would have to have a surgery but thankfully the pain I endured has disappeared to the point that I really don’t need medical attention but it isn’t completely healed yet and I would maybe say that it is 85 percent healed at the moment so it is better.

Free Google Earth Pro.

Google Earth Pro

For some years some of the people love using a software created by Google named Google Earth which can be very useful depending on what you use Google Earth for, but I often use it for scouting out the places especially the trails that I might have an interest in and if the trail I sees are interesting then I do mapping on it by marking so I can in some way create my map. If you have ever use Google map in your browser then this makes it easier for me to explain what exactly Google Earth software are, it is a lot better than you see on Google Maps with a lot more tools and a lot more features to use as well such as marking the map of your own then you can create your own map where you can download the custom map to a certain device to help you to route the direction you have marked in the map. Nonetheless there are a lot of people who love using Google Earth software but they always would like to have Google Earth Pro because it unlocks more features, tools and enabling 3D instead of just 2D because in regular Google Earth you can only have 2D so in Google Earth Pro you can use 3D feature but that isn’t only feature as it comes in boatload more of other features.

Dropbox, excellent cloud!

Almost there are several people who have started going digital instead of physical especially when it comes to storing some of the files such as images, videos, audio, documents etc to a storage as the technology especially in United States has drastically improved now that everyone can almost control everything through smartphone or a tablet. Several years ago before the technology booming every one of us had to physically store our files in cabinet with a locker to prevent our valuable files being stolen, then two geniuses invented computers (Microsoft and Apple) with physical hard drives where we could store our valuable files to our hard drives on our computers with a lock using either a pin code or password and now the technology has gone even further more than ever as somebody invented another way to store our files using any devices we could get our hands on so that we wouldn’t have to rely on computers to just store our valuable things to our hard drives anymore and that is called cloud storage – or more so clouding server.

We now be able to store our files to a cloud server where we can have an access to it anywhere as long as there is internet connection by using some of the devices such as smartphone, tablet, laptop or almost any devices that allow files to transfer using wi-fi connection and then view them later on by using any kinds of devices as long as you use either an app or internet browser. What is next in technology world? I don’t know but one thing I do know is that I am very curious over this.
