Another article this soon, I know! How are you all doing and are you enjoying your summer so far? As for me, I have stayed up a lot and sleeping a lot as well lately. I have not had the chance to enjoy the summer yet, because I have wanted to go four wheeling and I haven’t found the time to go four wheeling or haven’t found other people who has a time to go four wheeling with me as a group. You don’t want to go four wheeling alone, it is never a good idea to go riding a four-wheeler alone especially on some long trails in a large mountain because if for some reason your four-wheeler breaks down then you would truly be stuck and have hard time trying to get back to your vehicle where you park with your four-wheeler trailer. Only time I would go four wheeling is if I am to cruise down the street for a few minutes which is illegal to do so and ride some small hills. I lives on the east part of Kentucky, right on the border between Kentucky and West Virginia so I am surrounded by Appalachia mountain. If you know about Appalachia mountain then you know that Appalachia mountain are large and easily to get lost if not being careful especially without GPS device as I don’t have any.

Tidbits 8/5/2016

I bet that some of you misses my tidbits article right?! I know some of you do and I sometimes do miss writing some tidbits article because they allows me to discuss or share my opinions on more than one topics and not just one topic alone which can be very boring on some days but nonetheless I have decided that I have kept all of you waiting for too long for a new tidbits article so here it is once again. First before I get into it, I want to apologize for having all of you waiting forever for a new tidbits article from me and a few reasons that I haven’t written a tidbits article for a very while. I have been very busy with many things such as the fact that it is summer so many of you know that summer usually is when everybody goes out doing some activities and enjoy their summer around with their family or friends somewhere on vacations as most usually do but for me I have been almost too busy to do anything that I would like or usually do. From the beginning of the summer I started seeing an ex of mine whom I loved for several years since we both were pre-teenagers which that means younger than the age of twelve (12), over a decade later we both started seeing each others but there were obstacles that gets in the way and sadly my wish of having her back in my life didn’t happen as she have disappeared which she did few times every few years when I tried to get her back. In the beginning of the summer, she have started visiting here where we’d hang out together with some of her children which I had fun knowing them and I thought that everything goes smooth but then as the summer is coming to an end it seems that either that I have lost her or losing her because she have stopped talking to me for some reason that I am unknown of.

Skype For Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

As of lately I have started to use the king of all video calling, instant messaging and group video calling calls Skype with a couple of my friends who happens to be Deaf which that means we communicate in our native language with each others on Skype. In case some of you may not know what I mean by our native language, that would be American Sign Language (ASL) as there are many of us Deaf and Hard of Hearing people’s first language is American Sign Language since that it is the language we started to learn when a tiny brain of ours starts to grow to a point that can understand the communication whether it be American Sign Language, English or any other languages that their parents prefer for their children. After spending a little more time of using Skype, for past years I was somewhat unsure of Skype because ever since I first owned a computer I always used Yahoo! Messenger and that is obviously different from what Skype is since Skype has much more features such as video calling, audio calling which that is something that is useless to me as I am hard of hearing and sharing the screen with other people. These features I mentioned is what are different from Yahoo Messengers, while as for the rest of other features is same between both such as files sharing (photos, documents, videos, audio, etc) and I forgot to mention that Skype have a feature where you can leave a video message although I don’t know if Yahoo Messenger have that feature now or not but if they do please let me know in the comment below.

Here we are at it again, as in the last article I have promised all of my readers that I will be writing another tidbits sooner than expected or usual and I have a few topics that I would like to talk about with some of you if you don’t mind. I will try my best to make this one tidbits article to be shorter but a few more topics than the usual, where I tend to write long paragraph for each topics and this time I am going to try to write shorter paragraph for each topics so to not make it time-consuming although I do know that some of you like some long readings but I am somewhat in a rush myself. Why rush? It is nearing my bed time and the decision to write this tidbits article is at spur of the time but are you ready? Should I begin? Okay here we go.

The ASL App For You!

Many of you or some of you know that Deaf individuals natural language would be American Sign Language, for short ASL which is a language that the people who is Deaf and Hard of Hearing use as their communication tool to communicate. Commonly Deaf people use American Sign Language to communicate with each others but they have attempted to communicate with the people who’s able or they call them “hearies” in American Sign Language and majorly they failed to understand that language because they never learned American Sign Language which mainstream schools is the one to blame for because most of them don’t offer American Sign Language as one of their languages class. Several mainstream or public schools are offering at least language for the students to take, mostly either Spanish or French but not American Sign Language and what they don’t realize is that American Sign Language is more used than French but as important as Spanish though since in United States there is no official languages but three most used languages would be English, Spanish and American Sign Language equally. In 2012 United States Census populations for the people who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing is nearly forty (40) millions, 38,225,590 to be exact who lives in the United States who happens to be Deaf or Hard of Hearing and it is nonsense for any mainstream or public schools to not be offering American Sign Language as one of their languages class for students to take in. Only the most education that offers American Sign Language (ASL) would be Deaf institution and few colleges such as Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. which is mecca for Deaf people.
