In the smartphone or tablet world every one of us loves to have some apps on our devices to use daily such as Twitter, FaceBook, Instagram and sometime Tumblr but now there is a new competitor out against Instagram by FaceBook! One of Yahoo photo and video sharing app called Flickr came out with a new update for everyone calling it 3.0 version Flickr and the new update is almost a complete makeover design and now it replicates Instagram except it has more cleaner and one column instead of two like on Instagram and Flickr has better effects and more features, gives everyone a whopping 1TB space in attempt to kill Instagram and steal Instagram users which is belongs to FaceBook considering that FaceBook bought Instagram few months ago.
New update version of the app now has photo and video feeds like Instagram and FaceBook which is one of Yahoo! Flickr’s major update as earlier version of Flickr was only used to upload photo and video to store them and share a link with family or friends but now with the new version you can upload photo or video and update your feeds inside the app like you would with Instagram after snapping a photo or recording a video and then adding effects as usually most users would do on Instagram but now can do so on Flickr only different is that Flickr have more to offers with more features than Instagram. It is impressive especially that it’s coming from Yahoo! product Flickr as Flickr has long been completely different than Instagram and had no features to do like you would do on Instagram but now you can on Flickr and I would recommend you to give it a try and see but it is very different than the Flickr that we all used to.
I am liking the effects that Flickr offers and the smooth-clean user interface and less clutters to make Instgram look a bit of messy but nonetheless it isn’t going to be easy to steal users from Instagram even myself because most of people including myself probably will be stick with Instagram due to loyalty and population that the app itself already has and some of people and as well myself may not feel like to almost do everything over especially if switching to Flickr from Instagram but from on now I definitely will be using Flickr much more than I used to before because Flickr now have better type of system that replicate Instagram yet no where near to duplicate Instagram as Flickr offers more and has more features. So every time I am going to use Instagram I think I will use Flickr at same time while I am at it when uploading some photos or videos but it’s going to be interesting journey I think.
