Happy New Year of 2018!

It is unbelievable how quick last year was, I felt that it was one of the quickest year ever and that is in both good and bad way that the year of 2017 flew by us. I am sure that one of the good one is that it means the election is coming quicker than we expected so that we can vote for the people who we truly believe that would represent us instead of for the corporation and others especially to listen to what we want instead of what they want. Such as where most of us Americans begged the Federal Communications Commission to not repeal Net Neutrality because it is a policy that prevent the internet providers service to play monopoly with us by hiking the costs with no reason or to charge us just so that we could have access to something they blocked or slowed by throttling. One of the bad thing, I am certain that this is something every one of us can agree, our age made a leap to a year later too quick and all of us including myself who would love to stay at the current age and not becoming a year older already. There are many more to the list I could mention but I am not going to get into that because I am not here to write a long article, I am only here to tell every one of you a very Happy New Year of 2018 and I hope that all of you have a better year than the one last year because I believe that most of us could use one.

Victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas

My thoughts are with you all, I know I have wished you all well on social media several days ago but I feel that I want to maximize my areas in reaching out to the people especially who are victims by one of the worst hurricane named Harvey by writing this article for both of my blog on here and over at JoshuaBSullivan.com. I have some people who reads my message on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Google plus and others but my blog has the most readers than these so this is the reason I feel the need to do this so to make sure that my wish and my thoughts are received by everyone that I have. I have looked at horror pictures and videos all over of the hurricane Harvey that hit the people of Texas in several cities. The hurricane Harvey did not defeat you of these people who is victims of Harvey, you stand still bravely through the Hurricane Harvey and survived by defeating one of the worst hurricanes in the United States. Yes, unfortunately there are numbers of people who’s the hurricane Harvey took lives and my heart ache for the families of these people whose life were taken by the Harvey. I have already donated funds to some organizations including Texas Association of the Deaf who is responsible to make sure that the deaf and hard of hearing people who were affected by the hurricane Harvey to have some relief as there are many of them who lives in a couple of the cities that the Harvey hits the hardest. If you have some money that you are looking for someone or an organization to donate please look below for the links where you can do so which they will be grateful for them even if they are just one dollar, five dollars, ten dollars, twenty dollars or thirty dollars because every little thing can mean a lot to them.

Happy Mother’s Day 2017

I would like to personally wish the most important person on this earth, my mother a very happy mother’s day and that I am very thankful for everything she has done for me past these thirty years since she has become a mother to an only child which is myself – a child that thinks the world of her and looks up to her since this child opened his eyes for the first time after birth.

My mom has never stops her persistence in taking care of me for over thirty years and two months to make sure that I have everything that I need especially the essentials. Such as the roof over me, air conditioning and heating to keep myself cool or warm during both summer and winter; clothes on my back and foods on the table for me to eat everyday. Taking me to my doctor appointments to make sure that I am taken care of, this includes having to take me to Cincinnati to a children hospital every 2-3 years until I become a teenager, never leaving the hospital every time that I had to be admitted such as when I had undergone one of the most major surgery I have had ever went through, my back from my neck to my tailbone and when I broke my femur in half in my right leg my mother drove me to the hospital herself because she wouldn’t want to waste another minute for the ambulance. I have never truly see any mothers that takes as this tremendous care and responsibility without any hesitation for a child as my mother do for me.

President Trump and White House; Captions.

Dear President Donald Trump, White House Administration and whoever it may concern.

I would like to address this letter to the President Trump, Trump’s Administration and White House especially for the team that is responsible for media, social media team/director, public relations or press team. I and the Deaf community have noticed that since the administration of the President Donald Trump have taken over the people’s house; White House have not yet provided closed captions for all the videos that you have produced to share on social media like YouTube, Facebook or others. By statistics in the United States it shown that there are over fifty (50) million Deaf and Hard of Hearing Americans who resides in the country that you represent for as President. We kindly ask that Trump Administration along with Trump Administration’s team who is responsible for the media and the White House to provide closed captions for every video that you produce for several social services such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others so that we Deaf people of the America can have access to the information that any other people who can hear could by the sounds. If you provide sounds for all the videos that you have produced and not provide closed captions, then that would be unfair to over fifty (50) million Deaf people in the America. In year of late 2015, a couple of years ago a few of us Deaf people complained about the white house and Obama administration not providing closed captions for all the videos that they have produced. The Obama administration and white house have listened to our request for fair accessibility by providing closed captions which they provided closed captions for every video they produced a couple of years ago until Obama Administration leaves the White House.

1-9-2017 Tidbits

Hey guys and women! I hope that every one of you are doing well, I am doing well myself aside being a bit cold as it is at 11 degree here in the eastern part of Kentucky and that is darn cold if you ask me. Now that the Christmas has passed by and as well the New Year has passed away so there are several days with no holidays for us except for the students who attend schools because of snow days. I remember that when I was in school, I always roots for several days of snow because it would mean that the school would be closed and this allows me to enjoy the snow days with some of the friends that I used to hang out with a several years ago, when we were in school together. Makes me wonder how some of the people who I used to hang out with, the ones that I used to talk with in school or my old classmates have done lately as most of them I haven’t talked to or seen in more than a decade since I graduated in the year of 2005 so that is twelve years ago, I was wild back then especially when it comes with some girls because I would use to flirts a lot with the girls, I went to prom four times with each different four girls so two prom in middle school and two prom in high school. I almost went for the fifth, this was the year after I have already been graduated as there was a girl who I used to date when I was very young (7-9 years old) asked me to go to the prom with her and I rejected in matter of few seconds after being asked because that I knew the reason which was that she didn’t want to or maybe was embarrassed to take her fianc√© to the prom and that guy was almost forty years old while she was eighteen or nineteen years old.

Happy Birthday Mom

This is just a personal quick post, as I would like to publicly wish my mother a happy birthday so I wish you a very happy birthday mom and I hope that you enjoy a new chapter in your life journey as every age turns are a new chapter. You are a mother that I am very lucky to have, not some other mothers and without you I wouldn’t be here. You are the most important person in my life, more than anything and anybody in the world. You are amazing, simply the best mother and nothing or nobody can ever take that away from you. You are my life, you are my soul and you are my everything. You truly deserve everything and more than anything that anybody asks for. Every time I am down you are always there to cheers me on, every time I am worried about something you are always there to assure me that there is nothing to be worried about and when I am hurt you always find a way to take the pain away. I know I may sound a bit corny but every word I have said I mean it, you have care for me more than anybody on this earth ever did for me and every hurdle I went through you were always by my side to pull me out when I hit a barrier. You are my everything, it is me, you and us the world mommy! I love you so very much, more than you can ever imagine and more than you ever will know. You are my hero, you are better than any superheroes out there that is in the comic books and your most strength is your love that you gave for your child which is me. You have given me love much more than I could ever ask from you, you have shown me you care for me more than I could ever ask of you and I am indeed a very lucky as a son to have you my mother.
