11-7-2016 Tidbits

I am sorry that I have been MIA (Missing In Action) in the blogosphere for about a week, I know that is not the usual and that isn’t the unusual either as if you have noticed lately before this week I have started to become more active as a blogger for the last few months but then in the beginning of this week immediately put me on break due to a few reasons but the main reason I immediately was dropped out of blogging radar is because of the family matter which I will share on that with you in a few minutes here. I wrote the article in the beginning of the week saying that I will be taking a break from blogging for a while which you can find that article by looking for the article before this article and I said that I would have no idea when I would be done with taking a break, that is until I feel comfortable enough to get back in doing what I am passionate in. So this is to say that I am back, at least for now but I am not sure about being more active that I have been the least few months because I am not exactly all the way ready to be back yet as I have something else on my mind and that is why I have decided that I would just catch up all the topics that I have written down on the list while on break so in hope to put my mind to ease over what had happened to me in the beginning of this week. How are you everybody doing? I hope that all of you are doing great, enjoying the Fall season and starting to feel the winter coming? It’s getting colder here in the eastern part of Kentucky so that means that it’s reminding us to be ready for the winter to come in a few weeks this month or the beginning of next month December.

Pike County, Ky is NOT Deaf Friendly

For the Deaf community, we are starting to see some of the places all over here in the United States who finally been educated and is aware of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people to the point that they started renovating counties or cities themselves to make sure that they are accessible for everybody equally regardless their backgrounds. For several decades, by now almost everywhere in the United States is now accessible for the people who is wheelchair-bound and for the people who is senior citizens but never make the places to be accessible for the people who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Even though Deaf community have been around here for centuries, yet the officials in the counties or cities were aware of the people who is in wheelchair-bounds and senior citizens so they added a section in the Americans with Disabilities Act law that most of the buildings whether it be business, private, public or residential must build an accessible for the people who is in wheelchairs by building ramps along with making it easier for senior citizens to get access to the buildings without having to climb up the stairs. A few decades ago a lot of people looks at them as a disability, respects them and look at them almost equally although I am sure that some of the people who terrorize anyone who is in wheelchair but the major of the people doesn’t. Now as for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, even though we have been here for centuries but most of the people weren’t educated well enough to know that being Deaf or Hard of Hearing means that we have some kinds of problem with our hearing in their eyes until somewhere in the year of 1800s. When they starts to knowledge about Deaf and Hard of Hearing, they were quickly to judge us by calling us Deaf and Dumb.

Blogging Tidbits

Most of us bloggers who have a passion in blogging or journalism always seeks a way to improve ourselves as a blogger, because there is always a way to improve our blogging skills and looking a way to build our creditable because whether it be as bloggers or in any forms of journalism such as reporting or editing newspaper it is very important that we have a creditable to back ourselves otherwise it would be hard to gain some trust from readers. Some of the people don’t think bloggers have a place in journalism, as the journalists that works in newspapers blamed us bloggers for wrecking their journalists career because since the early 2000s the blogosphere boomed and being able to deliver information quicker than newspaper would be so many newspapers lost their readers to us which this means they realized that so they decided to start their own blogs (some of them call it online newspaper but it’s blog even though they will deny that) and laid off old-fashioned newspaper editors or their employees that takes care of printing newspapers using linotype machine which is what used to produce newspapers after editors wrote a draft then passed it down to linotypers. I will be one of few to say that, unfortunately the growth of blogs did caused the newspapers industry to dwindle and caused the newspaper industries to lay off unimaginable numbers of editorials and employees including the people who works with linotype machines which is the heart of the newspapers as they were what produced newspapers. They are basically printers for newspapers and linotype machines requires a lot of labor unlike these printers we have at home because once the editorials have made drafts then sends them to them and they would have to put letter blocks inside a square to print the wordings.

Hey guys! How are you all doing, I hope that everything is going well over there and as for me I am doing well over here amid a bothersome health issue but I am going to try to not let that stop me from writing another tidbits. But how about that game between Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears two nights ago on Thursday night?! Of course some of you already know that I am a huge fan of Green Bay Packers, I have been a fan of Green Bay Packers at the age four in the year of 1991 which is somewhat irony because as some of you know that Brett Favre’s number was four when he was playing for Green Bay Packers after being traded to Green Bay Packers from Atlanta Falcons in the year of 1992 which is a year after I became a fan of the Green Bay Packers. I very much remember watching Don Majkowski who were Green Bay Packer’s starter quarterback at that time that I became a fan of the team Green Bay Packers, Don Majkowski had played as Packer’s starter quarterback from the years of 1989 to the year of 1992 when he was injured in the game against Cincinnati Bengals and he was replaced by the backup quarterback namely Brett Favre then that became a history from on at that time that we know as gunslinger Brett Favre. That is the birth of Brett Favre, which that is something that I cannot forget and in that year I was 5 years old, one year of being a Packers fan and the succession of Green Bay Packers team is credited to Brett Favre as at that time (Majkowski era) it wasn’t much of a good team so Brett Favre immediately turned the team into a Superbowl contender every years since then the day Don Majkowski was injured. What a teary story I know, especially if you are a fan of Green Bay Packers and thankfully we had a backup quarterback who were studying Brett Favre very closely to know what it needs to keep the team as a Super Bowl contender and you know who we are talking about; none other than Aaron Rodgers who gave us a super bowl win just in 3 years which is sooner than Brett Favre as it took Brett Favre 5 years to win us a Super Bowl.

I am looking for somebody who have interest in becoming a blogger, that would like to share their opinions or whatever niches that they are comfortable with the most to share and to write about. How are all of you doing? I hope that all of you are doing well, I am doing well over here but I have been very busy lately with my other work and trying to figure what is the next step that I should take in my career. But beside that I am doing well though, I see that we are starting to feel the weather changing from hot weather to a cool weather and in matter of a month we will be heading into the cold weather. I am sure that some of you are not looking forward for the cold weather, also there are some of you are looking forward to some cold weather and that includes me. While I am more of a fall or spring kind of person, I am not talking about seasonal, just the type of the weather (temperature) and what it brings. We know that in the spring we would usually get a lot of raining and in the fall we would usually get less rains which that is one thing why I like fall because I am never a fan of rain. I am also not a fan of hot weather nor rain, I cannot stand them as I like the cool temperature which fall is what known for and the spring also have cool temperature but more rains in spring than in the fall. The bottom line is that I favor normal weather, not hot but not cold such as 60-70 degree temperature and secondly I am a huge fan of being stuck in the snow as long as only being stuck for a half week or a week because eventually we need to get out of the house to do some personal errands such as grocery shopping or doctor appointments and whatnot. I love to be stuck in snow, only as long as they will be cleared by a certain day (weekly grocery shopping, doctor appointment, weekly family’s visit or whatnot) and then be stuck in the snow again until the next certain day.
