Hey guys and women! How are all of you doing? I hope that all of you are doing well, considering that we are somewhat having a taste of the winter as in eastern part of the United States is at 15 degree, especially over here in the state of Kentucky so it is obviously a bit cold and it is just the beginning of going into the winter. I am doing well myself over here, we got a lot of the heaters going on with the house’s heater, a couple of portable electric heaters and kerosene heater in the living room. With these heats going, the electric portable heaters and the house’s heater is having a bit difficult of catching up to the temperature that we have set for the house so that mean obviously that it is cold here but we are doing fine though. I notice that we just started getting low temperatures for the winter in December, which is a bit different because if I recall correctly, last year and maybe a few years before that we usually hit around 20-30 degrees in the beginning month of January. It’s middle of the month December, we are hitting the range of 10-20 degrees so that’s about 10-15 degrees and one month difference so I suspect that it is a possibility that we will be having a bit colder winter this year than we had last year but the question is how many snows are we going to get this year? I am a bit concerned about that, especially that over here in the eastern part of the United States that we are hitting 10-20 degrees then right back up to 40-50 degrees and then straight back to 10-20 degrees so the winter is bipolar this year as it seems. Climate change? Absolutely and that’s a problem we will be having with the president-elect Donald Trump when he takes the office in the next month because he doesn’t believe in climate change or global warming. What you expect, he is a Republican and that’s common with anyone who is Republicans although I am not saying that every Republicans doesn’t believe in that but unfortunately most don’t.
Anyway, I will hold onto that topic and maybe I will discuss further about this below if I am in the mood to get back to that topic. As some of you know, this is a new tidbits article and I only have a very few topics that I would like to share my opinions or thoughts on this time because I have been very busy so I barely have any time to think of some topics that I would like to share my opinions or thoughts on which this is why I would sometimes ask for some of your help to suggest some topics that you would like to hear my opinions or thoughts on these. 12-16-2016 Tidbits
I am looking at the clock, it is saying that it’s 12:43AM and I am getting a bit concerned about whether if I would be able to finish this or not. It seems that every time when I got myself a little free time to do what I wish and I ends up having the free time at late which that is somewhat pressuring for me because I need to get my butt in the bed by about 2:00AM so that means barely an hour and half for me to do for fun. I always try to finish all the things that I must do daily early as possible so that I could at least have that free time a bit earlier and that would give me some breathing room to write an article for the blog. If anyone knows a magic spell that can stop the time for about a couple of hours, please let me know what’s the spell so I can stop the time now and then to give me some breathing room. Anyway, I will go ahead and start with the tidbits so that I can hopefully finish this in time.
Cochlear War
I see that some of the people asks some other people online, like in the forum or in a wall post over on Facebook asking why some Deaf and Hard of Hearing people is against cochlear implant. I would like to make a clarification that the Deaf community aren’t against Deaf people who have cochlear implants or who is interested in getting cochlear implants, what we in the Deaf community are against is the cochlear industry and anyone who shares inaccurate information with nothing to back them up to the parents who have Deaf or Hard of Hearing children to convince them to get their newborn Deaf or Hard of Hearing children to have cochlear implant. If you think that the cochlear industry like Starkey’s Hearing Foundation, Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and others are doing the good thing then you are thinking wrong. If you think that then you are obviously have been brainwashed by the people who associates with the cochlear industry, all they truly care about is that they are exploiting thousands of dollars from you for something that does not guarantee anything and they degrade the Deaf community on daily basis. Their most goal is to erase the existence of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people as if we are not human beings. They have a lot of audiologists, doctors and others in their pocket to oppress the Deaf people by telling them or especially the parents who had newborn Deaf or Hard of Hearing children that it is recommended they don’t learn American Sign Language or to be a bilingualism. To have bilingualism is to enroll in schools that is bases on bilingual bicultural education program where they teach Deaf and Hard of Hearing children to learn two languages separately but at the same time as long as it is not to be mixed with which is what they call “total communication”. Bilingual-Bicultural education program teaches the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to learn how to communicate using their native language, American Sign Language and teaches them how to write in English so the Deaf or Hard of Hearing children would skills in bilingualism which means knowing more than one language since American Sign Language is a language.
Back to the topic, some Deaf and Hard of Hearing thinks that we are against them who have cochlear implants or relies on hearing aids in their daily lives. That’s not true at all, we are against the cochlear industry, audiologists and any others who strongly believes that the only option the Deaf or Hard of Hearing can have is to get cochlear implant without letting them know other options that they can explore such as American Sign Language. In many research, it has been proved that the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people who learned American Sign Language right after they were born have a better future. That’s the most important key here, is that Deaf and Hard of Hearing toddlers should learn how to communicate using American Sign Language then wait a few years later to the age that they can decide for themselves and they can decide whether if they want to get cochlear implants or not. If they do, then they are more than welcome to do so but as long as they explore the options first through the internet or Deaf outreach as some of the states have them. I realize that I have written too long about this, so the bottom line is that we are not against anyone who wants to have cochlear implants and we are against the what which is the industry or the people that associates with the industry that provide the parents of Deaf newborn children false information with nothing to backs them up. So, if you are new parents of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing child, congratulation and I ask you to seek advice from your state association of the Deaf only instead of audiologists or the cochlear industry.
Cochlear to Be Paid by Insurance or Medicaid
I must say that I am somewhat glad that some insurance companies and Medicare in some states doesn’t pay for the cochlear implant because it means that this push the parent of the Deaf newborn child to do some research for some other options because by doing that way they will discover another option that’s better for the Deaf or Hard of Hearing child. They would discover through research that by learning American Sign Language is a lot cheaper than trying to come up with some funds to afford the cochlear implant that have zero guarantees that they would work for the Deaf or Hard of Hearing child. Some companies or states Medicare doesn’t cover the cochlear implant will push them in a different path and in that different path would be the right path to take in the first place. I advocate when it comes to any parents who have a newborn Deaf or Hard of Hearing child that seeks for some options that they can take for their Deaf or Hard of Hearing child, because unlike some other states or the insurances that do covers some or most for the cochlear implant would give the cochlear industry or the anti-cultural organizations like Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing a chance to force the parents of newborn Deaf or Hard of Hearing child with the only one option to get cochlear implant without letting them know that there is a list of options and one of these option have been proved a such success for the majority of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing child’s future which is to receive bilingual bicultural education program. The best way to get bilingual bicultural education is to enroll them in the state’s Deaf institutes, such as here in the Kentucky it is Kentucky School for the Deaf, in West Virginia is West Virginia School for the Deaf or enroll them in one of the best Deaf institutes such as Maryland School for the Deaf, California School for the Deaf in Fremont, California or Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, TX.
Nonetheless I somewhat support that any states insurance or insurance companies to not cover for the cochlear implants at all because they are not “need” as they are “want” which is what they are. What Deaf or Hard of Hearing children need is to learn American Sign Language as their first language and they will have a successful future. I wish that every states and all of insurance companies won’t cover them or have more restrictions on paying for the cochlear implant such as recommending that they to take American Sign Language class first to show their commitment to get these cochlear implants.

As some of you know that I love Twitter, I use Twitter on daily basis and I am addicted to Twitter as some of you are to Facebook. I am aware that Facebook offers more features but Facebook is packed with so many features that it has become cluttered. Twitter is very simple to use, at the same time it allows many of us to know your intelligence because Twitter only limits 140 characters and that would force you to be smart with how you play with words to deliver a full message that you want to send. Am I Okay? Where Have I Been?
Thank you for your concern, I am doing just fine and I have been very busy especially with trying to get things ready for the Christmas as we have about close to two weeks before the Christmas day. I think that Christmas this year probably is where we are starting to not feeling it as we used to. We have tried to keep that Christmas feeling that we had for several years but we are starting to lose them and I think that this Christmas is probably the beginning where we are pretty much feeling not as cheery as we used to be. But if I don’t write anything on the blog before Christmas then Merry Christmas! I am sure that I will be writing an article before Christmas anyway, because I have one that I will focus on only one topic in a couple of days coming up or three if I can find some more information about this certain topic that I want to write about.
What’s Up with North Korea’s President, Kim Jung Un and The Military Girls?
This morning I was watching some random videos on YouTube, I came across some videos about North Korea and from there I somehow stumbled upon a video where I feel cringed while watching the video. I notice that the women in North Korea’s military or possibly most of the women in North Korea behaving like this towards the president of North Korea Kim Jung Un. It is as if he is the superhero or the biggest celebrity in the world while he is a dictator in a country of his own and oppress his own people daily. If he suspects anyone who sees the negative in Kim Jung Un, he will have his people to make a trip to all that person who saw Kim Jung Un as a negative person, family and punish them harshly while doing nothing to that person who sees negative in Kim Jung Un. Makes me wonder if there are at least a small group of the people that’s in North Korea realize that their president or leader isn’t a good person and that he does the awful things to the people of North Korea?

I must stop here, as it is 1:56AM so about four minutes until 2 o’clock for my bed time and I would like to try to keep up with the schedule because for the past few weeks I have started to blog at very late to the point where I missed my bed time many times so since I have started to get back to the schedule I don’t want to screw it up again. I just need to figure out a way to find some free time to write some articles earlier than I usually have been. I still have a few topics that I would like to share but I will hold some of them for the next article for now but if you have any idea for some topics that you would like for me to share my opinions or thoughts on please submit your topics suggestion here and I would greatly appreciate it!
